I have the WGen10500 and a 4 ton unit and it ran it without out a soft start. I also have a 50amp 6 gauge cord. In everyone's case below the factor is LRA/inrush amps on start up of the unit. You may have other loads in your house drawing amperage at the same time the AC unit is starting. A refrigerator freezer, electric water heater. The best thing to do is turn off breakers to all loads in your breaker box except your condensing unit and your indoor air handling unit. Then start the generator and try starting the AC via the Tstat in the house. Then slowly add loads once your ac it running. Wait for the AC to cycle on and off a few times before adding another load to the generator.
Have you installed the Soft Start Kit on your AC unit? Also I noted that you are using 30 Amps outlet on the generator. You should use a 50 Amps outlet and cable has to be 6 gauge wires, and Inlet box should be rated also for 50 Amps ..........
I was looking into getting the same generator. I have a Trane AC 5 ton unit with an LRA 134 and was wondering if it requires a soft start kit to turn on the AC compressor? I see you're running an AC with an LRA 148. Please advise.

Don’t let your generator get wet. You need a generator tent if you need to use your generator during wet weather. Please don’t wear loose clothes when operating the generator. It would have been nice if you could show us there is not a soft starter kit installed. My AC central works but I needed a soft starter to get it going, my generator is a 9500w and works just fine

Agree, you should be using the 50 amp outlet with proper sized cable.

Yes I have mine hookup for 2 years now just run a 50amp inlet with a 6 gauge wire and your unit will work.

Your A/C may be a less efficient unit than his, having a larger in-rush, needing more power. Did you get it resolved?

First what I would check is. drive shaft bearing, see my drive shaft video , make sure to make marks Before removal of bearing if it’s bad or loose,
