- Scarp is an uninhabited island in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, West of Hushinish on Harris.
Once an inhabited island nobody has lived here permanently since 1971 but every croft is still owned by the descendants of the original inhabitants and still keep sheep there.

Lovely video..I visited a few years ago with Seamus on Sea Harris ...spend a beautiful warm afternoon painting a watercolour on the wee beach...I was fascinated by the old schoolhouse and have a fine book written about the old days living on Scarp.
Gorgeous. Lovely shots. Very poignant to see the old abandoned houses.
What a beautiful video. I love this beautiful life for the sheep and they even get to ride in the boat.
Breathtaking... magical. 05:13 made me laugh!
Wonderful video, thank you
Excellent video
In these crazy times, this just looks like peace and tranquility.
The ocean water is so clear!
Being a island sheep in Hebrides seems like fun:) What a spot. I hope one day I will have a chance to visit Outer Hebrides.
This is extraordinary!
gaitherrelli Thank you!
Beautifully filmed and edited...and just a joy to watch.
Oh i love it! Wonderful Video - thanks for sharing..i`m looking forward to visit Scotland again. The Best from Leipzig
Judging by the state of some of the buildings, I'm going to assume "uninhabited" means, not permanently inhabited. ;) Be a great place to spend a couple of weeks in the summer. Thanks for the vid, in these lockdown times it reminds me of happier times, and the road from Tarbet to Huisnis.
Nice video man... Very nice
Sublime
Excellent, does anyone know what the rib like lines in the ground are at 1:11 as I have seen them covering the entirety of another island on google maps?
