Also curious about your experience with open pilot on the maverick compared to ACC. Still not sure it is a big enough difference to justify, given the ACC is decent for highway use and you still have to switch lanes with open pilot, right?

I ended up returning mine because I didn't think the added convenience was worth $1500.
Comma was much better on major roads and made my commute better. I really liked the driver monitoring and not having to move the steering wheel constantly. Stop and go was automatic and it did a much better job of staying in the lane. That said, lane centering is only on when cruise control is active so no lane centering on my back roads where I can't use ACC. Also, since it uses Ford's ACC, it doesn't support full self driving; no stop sign or red light recognition. I did try a beta version that replaced ACC but it was not good.

To change lanes you just touch the turn signal and turn the wheel just a little and it changes lanes automatically.
Also, Ford want to run me into the left turn lane and median occasionally; Comma never did that.

I have a 2024 Maverick. They included a ford harness as well. Did you not need that?

Yes, I start installing the Q3 harness at 1:20 into the video. I don't show where I run the flat cat5 cable down to the odbc connector.

Hi! I have a 2023 maverick xlt which doesn't have adaptive cruise control. How is your experience with this and openpilot?

      I don't think it'll work without acc.
