Similar setup here, I had the Raptor but after being a Ford person my entire life then having a new Ford blow 5 turbos in under 45,000 miles still under factory warranty was frustrating but when they told me if I wanted it fixed after the 5th I would have to take them to court because they were tired of dealing with it I jumped at trading in both Fords for a Power Wagon and couldn’t be happy 5 years later. I am 44 and retired army so I have a lot of experience outdoors and with maintenance, this Ram is easy to work on, reliable and room to have everything I need on hand. I normally off-road with a Jeep club and as long as there is no super tight areas I’m good lol just plan on a couple race stripes
I've seen so many overlanding videos where there frying a steak on a fancy griddle with a perfectly good fire in the background. I cook with fire all the time too. Tater tots in a cast skillet in the fire are the best 👍
I got my 22 PW used in Vegas as well(in 23). Saved $20,000 off new! I love your setup. I am runningMethod semi bead locks wheels and yoko T G003 35s. Like your setup!
I have a really similar setup. 2015 Ram Cummins, 5 inch lift on 37's, bumper cut and CJC offroad intercooler guard. My winch is on a Westin mount in front of the bumper. Have the Rambox bed with the front runner rack, a hardshell RTT, my 270 awning, and a bedslide! And the truck is red/black two tone with black wheels. I even have that same morflate kit. This was my 3rd overland build and I put a lot of thought into it. Glad to see at least one other person thought the same!! 😂
Awesome truck and cool review. Only thing I would have liked to see was when you guys talked about the battery isolator, and the smitty built compressor, was to actually show the products and mounting.. Happy Wheeling!
I have a 2022 Gladiator with a ton of pinstripes on it. I look at all these Jeeps with the gear, but no off road use, Pavement Princess. I bought my truck to do overlanding, I knew from the start I would be taking it into the woods. Once I have the Gladiator paid, I might get a used Power Wagon to build. Nice truck, I am going to take some ideas for my 05 WK I am building.
I have a 2024 PW on order. Most options. No fifth wheel. Planning on 35” tires and RC power step. Will build a rack and a RTT. From the Jeep world. Looking forward to this.
Great watch. At this point my 2020 PW is a poser and i hate that. The truck price alone killed me than the gas mileage. Expensive hobby but looking forward to getting it more off road capable
I was looking for the same thing…and I found it. Check out NH Overland (I can’t post the URL), the kit is listed there for ~300 dollars without any of the fancy options.
The factory winch is a reverse rotation so the remote control from a standard warn winch won’t work These are awesome trucks my daughter has one and we went to Moab and played for a couple hours it goes anywhere Just wish I could get it with a Cummins
Awesome overland build! I have a 2020 PW with ram boxes and have been looking at bed rack options which are not that many. That Front Runner rack that is made for a Tacoma, I understand it's the proper width but what about the length? The PW's 6'4" bed length is longer than the tacoma's but seems to fit just fine and with the large roof top tent as well. I was just curious if that is the standard length rack that is made for the Tacoma. Thanks for the great review!
I’m the owner. Frontrunner makes a specific rack for the 2500 with the Rambox. So you don’t have to guess. It just happens to be the same as the Tacoma.

5 turbos? I'll take Things that never happened for 500
DUDE! Cut the front bumper for more clearance! Awesome idea! On my mod list now.
Anthony seems like a super awesome dude
Damn good looking power wagon build. 👍👍
Ram boxes are absolutely awesome
Awesome vid, straight and to the point. Lots of info I didn’t know I never knew and things that are soon to come to my Ram

Killer rig. Just got a 22 PW. Great ideas here. Came from the Jeep world, trying something different.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Good call, we'll definitely grab more pics next time we see Anthony on the trail. Thanks for watching!
You’re welcome to hit me up on Instagram for more details.
Cool rig, cool owner! Trailed and camped with Anthony several times. Good people ❤
I really like that bumper mod. I'm seriously considering doing that at work tomorrow.
I dream of a job I can work on my truck while at work. Props to you my guy.
I guess the awning directs water straight into the bed, that’s a “Quality of life” feature too.
No, not really. It would direct it into the awning backplate and then onto the top of ram boxes.
Cool interview!
Awesome Power Wagon 🙌 Love this setup

sick rig!
Nice interview. I tried to hear the source Anthony mentioned for his secondary battery mount. Could not find. It would be nice to know. Thanks.

you let him talk. thank you lol
The truck looks nice what’s the model for the rack on the bed ? I’m interested in getting the same one

I’ve contemplated doing that to my front bumper. It’d be cool to be able to roll the bottom edge of the cut to make it look factory finished.
I just stuck on some door trim on the edge to clean it up and give it a finished edge.
@@manek1978 seems like a good idea.
Ammo_wagon?
Are you a shooter too?
Why did you go with the 6.4 instead of 6.7 Cummins?
The power wagons only come with the gas engine. To me it seems strange not to have a diesel for it but they didn't consult me. :)
Your towing is limited to 8000 pounds, cummins would be overkill for that and all that extra weight 4wheelin in the front bay.
Can you post links to the battery mount stuff,I have a 2018 wagon also the air system
Feel free to hit me up on Instagram for more details.
Dude! Stand aside so we can see the compressor set up.
Next time!
Tool’s !!!
10mins per tire to go from 20psi to 40psi? Dang that's a long ass time. It takes me 3-4 mins per tire for me to air up my 37s from 20psi to 40psi
20 to 45psi. Just depends on the compressor and maybe the weight of the vehicle. My truck is 9000 pounds.
What’s you mpg with that set up? I got my Pw last July and Can’t wait to start moding it
About 16 mpg on the highway doing 75mph as you see it here. Truck is calibrated for the 37s.
@@manek1978 lol. 16?? you lying boy. try 14... maybe 15 if u you have no weight.
@@tired_brickmason34 lol ok boy. It really benefits me to lie about it haha.
@@manek1978 what calibration tool did you use? i live in Vegas and have a 2021 PW on 35s and dont get that. also what lift?
