I have 1 thing to say & only 1 thing. This years CrossFit Games had better be Live streamed better than last years... I mean, every event, Live, on an Official Twitch stream. None of the bullshit they pulled last year. It's 2018, and this event deserves full coverage - that is available to everyone, free, on the web. Period.

There are, and have been for years, multiple ways to watch the games for free online. They are announced repeatedly and have always worked perfectly fine. If the update show isn't talking about your favorite athletes it's because in the opinion of the guys on the show they don't need coverage in the 10 minutes they have. Start your own blog if you disagree, but quit whining. Steroids. Yes, it's an issue. it is being addressed. Life will be less disappointing when you realize that your tirades in the RUclips comments section change nothing and just make you sound petulant and childish. Watch the available content. If you don't like it, quit watching and go workout. As long as your watching and commenting, crossfit is getting advertising revenue.
Capt. Douglas J. Falcon that’s exactly what I was thinking! I feel he will be on the podium this year (well I’m hoping). Idk why but I see my self rooting for Ben Smith every year! Lol
Adam Craig he will go down as one of the greatest Crossfit Athletes ever for sure. If there was a HOF for crossfitters he will be first ballot. Man has been on the podium tons. 2015 was not a fluke 2016 would have been his year too BUT beast ass Fraser was there haha.
Do you run doping test on Fraser and the top 5 individual of every region? ...in pro sports, specially those who outperform other athletes by a lot, are the first ones to get tested. It's not that I don't believe his performance level is not achievable, but rut it for everyone.
They dont let the winners take home their prizes until their doping results come back, meaning all top athletes get tested and just like what happened last year with girard they will strip you right away and not send any medals or belts until the results are back. El-Kadur Acosta even if they do comes positive, crossfit reserved the rights to whoever they want publicly reveal ... so i doubt they do on matt its all marketing
I thought girard went home with his medal last year. On the crossfit podcast Vellnar (sorry if I butchered spelling his name) and the host guy had a discussion about how cool it would be of girard to send it to Vellnar.
Everyone gets tested for regionals and for games this year. 12 people were DQ'd after regionals this year and some, seemingly, unfairly. Crossfit is using extreme prejudice on this issue. They make it quite clear that each player is responsible for what they put into their body and to thoroughly check all supplements and pre workout.
Okay... So I feel like I should make a few comments about drug use in the sport and a few questions I have: Are athletes tested year round? Is there random drug testing? What happens if athletes load up on drugs in the off season and then unload during the competitive year? What about the athletes doing drugs that are already ahead of the tests? What about micro dosing? What are the limits for hormone profiles of these athletes? Does anyone ACTUALLY know about the testing procedures? That being said... I have heard some interesting things about some of the top athletes in crossfit from people who are close to the top athletes, and am very surprised that they haven't flagged certain athletes.
David and alex... idk USA laws... but if you want to title the fittest on earth there should not been a problem to people be there... like the olympic games or world cup... that is ridiculs...

They changed the rule about taking home your prize this year. The change was made in response to the Garard incident.
