Love your gentle way you present. You give all the needed details about colour, technique, and where you are aiming - never boring, just right. And you cheer us up. 👍😃
The artic vibe is what I got, too. Also the section at the bottom left of the polar bear with the base peeking through looks like stairs heading towards heaven to me.

So pretty. I love the copper with the blues and the white:) for me, it seems as if one is looking at a slice of the world… the copper at the top is the setting sun-kissed tip of a mountain range, and as you go down the layers we are seeing the geology of the world, going back in time through each layer… then as those layers form arching shapes, i see deep beautiful caverns underneath the world which seem filled with fresh water ( the blue background) and invite the viewer to dive in and explore!

Great abstract piece - love it. Liked the effect of pouring onto blended background. I may try this. Have tried Molly’s balloon kiss flower shapes on abstract background created by blending tube paint on canvas and creating shadowy lines and was reasonably pleased with my creation. Learning all the time and have found your tutorials very helpful. Thank you.
@@MarkJRatcliffeArt Good morning Mark. I would like your advice. I attempted a ‘flop cup’ pour last week. Initially it looked a success - quite vibrant colours. However within 24 hours some crazing developed at one corner. Forward to following day and 95% of painting was covered with spidery cracks. I had checked the consistency before pouring so that shouldn’t have been an issue. Interestingly I had managed to collect most of the pour offs into a container and then pour this paint onto two 6” tiles. They have dried fine with absolutely no cracks. So the problem seems to be with the canvas. This was a previously painted canvas acquired from charity shop which I sandpapered, cleaned off and gave a coat of gesso. Do you think I can repair over the canvas in a couple of weeks time?
@@JosiWeaver-re5wthow long did you wait to paint over the gesso? It sounds like it wasn’t fully dry before painting over. I say gesso and sand down again and wait a good week at least to ensure it’s fully dry.

It’s slightly thicker but still a paint conditioner (that’s why I also add water). Paints “sink” due to their density so it’s all about getting similar density
