This is a title given to specific individuals of the High Republic...200 years prior to the current timeline in Skeleton Crew. Which means that if Tak Rennod is still alive, he would have to be a species that lives incredibly long...or he's a droid.
Yes....the citizens of At atin have no idea the Republic fell and was replaced by the Empire. They believe the Republic Emissaries are still the Jedi Order. Even the "supervisor" believes this. That's why there's a HUGE surplus of money. No one has come to pick it up for a long time. But they've been minting it out of duty all along.
I was thinking the supervisor might be an imperial warlord and had a hidden base in that mysterious world. Let's hope Luke Skywalker or Ezra Bridger or Cal Kestis appear in the final episode after what Jod did. I also think Wim might a perfect student for Luke's Jedi temple. Maybe we can see post credit scenes of Ahsoka season 2 and the mandalorian movie.
One of the main pirate characters of the Mandalorian was in the Skeleton Crew in a couple episodes and had some lines...not sure why people are saying there have been no cameos.
I would love it if the supervisor is Thrawn or one of his Shadow Council followers and shows up to destroy the pirates about the same time that New Republic forces come to save the day with a big space battle that sets the stage for the Mando and Grogu movie
If Jod is a order 66 survivor then I think the primary reason why he is the way he is, is because the only way that he believed to survive is self preservation and perhaps his belief in trust no one is that he escaped with other Jedi only for them to be betrayed by an ally
This is my view, when the kids say “leave no man behind” and Jod says “that’s not something Jedi say” makes me think he was left behind and that’s what started him off on a life of piracy.
Jod will take control of At Attan, and be the richest Man in Galaxy. In the next season, the Kids will fight against him, to save thier home world. Whith help of the Mandaloria and Grogu i hope 😊
As much as I want Jod to be redeemed, I’m also kind of hoping that he ends up being a dark force user in this galaxy… for Ezra or whoever to fight. We need some light saber fights moving forward!
