Pelly is definitely a club legend. Nobody will ever do what he has done again. He most certainly has a place in my squad. He was unlucky Saturday. Everyone played bad passes in that game. His unfortunately nearly led to a goal. It could have been any of the others.
The game he got injured last year, where he was clattered into the advertising hordings was a brilliant game for him. He was unlucky he got injured. He has that love hate relationship with our fans which I don't understand. None of the players from non league, and div 2, were deemed good enough to progress except him and Berry. He still and decent player

Theres some Luton fans who can only see negatives , they were moaning when we were non league and were still moaning in the premiere. I feel sorry for who ever they live with.

it angers me seeing pelly get constant hate. hes a club legend and has been with us since non league and been with us through it all and is the only player to ever go from non league with one club. i know hes probably not as good as he was a few years ago and is slowly dropping down the pecking order but we need him at the club for as long as possible as hes amazing for the dressing room and still has a good amount left in him

i seen him play, and when he is in form, is one of the best midfielders i seen for Luton, and he scores bangers.

Pelly is the guy who explains to the new signings where this club has come from & as many know the joker the lad who keeps the spirits high when things are not going so well. For sure he will get a testimonial & real fans will come in numbers.

Club legend, to stay at a club so long, and achieve what he has, man is a club LEGEND. He plays a huge part behind the scenes, keeping up moral.

I have nothing but respect and gratitude for Pelly...such a big part of the last decade...he is still worthy of being in the squad...I would have played him more in the first 4 games instead of just a 2 man midfield...he has my support for however long he represents Luton Town

Lewis I get it it is unfair for Pelly Mpanzu 😢

Totally agree with you. He made one misplace pass and get vilified for it. No one says anything about Liam Walsh losing the ball 3 TIMES in our own half against millwall. Don't get me wrong I think Liam is good but please less of the hate. Some fans are waiting for the mistake. Love the guy. Keep going Pelly
I don't think u get many players be as happy as pelly to sit on the bench get bit part playing

To put this "bad" pass into perspective, the whole team passed badly, some even worse passes STRAIGHT into the opposition's feet. We only had a 69% pass completion rate. The constant turnovers kept giving Millwall attacking opportunities, but the players generally reacted well to most turnovers, as they should. When Pelly made a weak pass and the opponent put in some work to intercept that pass and succeeded, the players' reaction to this turnover was hot garbage, leading to a through ball that should not have happened. Picking on Pelly this game for an unremarkable pass when the whole team performed badly is extremely unfair.

I hope at the new ground he gets a statue, Pelly is a legend and that's final. Plus he keeps the moral at training and keeps the good vibes, Pelly we love you, well said Lewis amazing video. COYH

I think it’s a minority who feel like that Lewis.
I’ve not seen much hate about him lately.
I do agree his time will be up at the end of the season though.

Just remember that this is only the vocal minority, not the majority.
I haven't been a fan of Luton Town for very long, but I know how loved Mpanzu is by the club and I know that he will always been remembered

i love pelly but he's coming to the end of his carrer and isn't going to get football with us.
I think it's best we let him go at the end of the season so he gets the send off he deserves because although he isnt the best anymore hes a legend with us

I have been critical of Pelly in the past (not hate) but, I have also praised him when he has had a good game. I think its disrespectful that LTFC themselves (as far as we know) have not had a withdrawal plan for the guy culminating in a Testimonial that I would be the first to sign up for. While he is still at Luton the club should put him through his coaching badges as well . He is 31 years old and slowing down, as we all do. Football is a business so the fans have right to be critical but no hate. Pellys role should now be the "hard man" of the team. I would play him at the start and get him to put himself about a bit and then bring on Walsh for the skillful bits. I agree that this is Pellys last season and he will probably leave at the end of his contract unless LTFC put him in charge of one of the youth teams which would be a suitable reward for his long service.

He is a club legend without a doubt. But I will say whenever he comes off the bench, without having played regular football he always has a big mistake in him. From the top of the head I can think of our first game in the prem away against Brighton giving them a free goal, against Celta Vigo in pre-season giving them a free goal with a very similar mistake, against Millwall he again makes a huge error off the bench which on another day could have lead to a goal. I hate to say it but off the bench without a run of games he is a liability. There are other times too when he has made similar errors leading to huge chances. I love Pelly and what he has done for the club, but I think it is time to move on, as I don't think he will be given a run of games which is what he needs.

The man is a club legend and will always love the man but he's not the best and think he's more suited for L1.

Those people flagging him off couldn't tie their own shoelaces properly without their mum helping them. It's disgusting how much players (not just Pelly)get slagged off because they made a mistake. The people doing this have been failures in their own lives and are trying to get back something that they have missing in their sad little lives. If they slagged off their own workmates or families in the way that they abuse players they would get sacked.
Leave the boy alone. Let him do his job. You'll never win the argument mate. They are too thick to understand the basics of life.

Agreed but all players get abuse when they don't perform, there is no time to be complacent, your views count for nothing I expect luton town will do what is right,we can moan about players forever, the club will do what's right
