Posted 8 sec ago and I’m already here….. I think I may have a problem when it comes to pool cleanings
😂😂 don’t worry! It’s a good problem
Hey i think you should do more of showing underwater before cleaning like you did a while back in one of your videos, i really love it and i would watch your videos more often just for that
Who would wanna see the bottom of a minging pool tho
@@unclepalps4219 I think they mean the ones where there's a developed ecosystem and stuff under there
@@BrettCahill I just realised that he’s killing a whole ecosystem
People like this are just wanting to see gross content
@@unclepalps4219 he tries to save as much creatures as possible when he sees one tho also it was the client's descision if they want their pool cleaned. it's his job he's doing it for them.
Hi love this video's I'm obsessed
Are you British, American or other?

Def the first one.
Weirdly satisfying
Holla ya boi for the swamp work.
@poolguy one last question :) How/why did you ever get started in this type of work? I'm sure a lot of your viewers would be interested to know a bit more about your bio
Thanks for the compilation, loved it doll!
Holla ya boi for da pool work ✌🏻
I can not put into words how much I enjoyed that !!! ✌🏻💗☺️❣️
Thank you for making people so happy.
My favourite bit was when you cleaned the swimming pool....
@poolguy How would you describe the balance this job gives you between work and free time? Particularly as not just a "pool guy" but being your own business owner who has even more responsibilities to juggle?
I've seen some videos where you won't get a job done until after then sun sets. Other jobs you manage to get up to 4 or 5 people helping you out with the labor. At the end of it all, compaired with a normal 9 to 5 job how what's your take on life balance for work...unwinding..family time...and rewarding pay for time you spend?
As much as I love watching the satisfaction of cleaning these pools and hot tubs, I think the owners need to jet wash there pool and hot tub surroundings. Other than that awesome job
I'm not sure why but I find p00lguy's videos very relaxing.
The people who made these videos deserve a spot in heaven
@poolguy Thank you very much for taking the time to edit and upload these videos of your work! I really enjoy unwinding to them at the end of my work day. It's relaxing, satisfying and very interesting. Please keep up the good work! I appreciate it
What do you do?
@@bdplatform7282 I'm a mailman :/ I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Back breaking work 😓 💪🇨🇦

I guess owning a pool is like owning a boat. It seemed like a good idea at the time. The 2 happiest days of owning one is the day you receive it, and the day you get rid of it.
Holla for ya pool boy!
this videos are be coming my go-to therapy when I'm really stressed.
Wow, awesome job!

Oh... here's my usual love to this videos: ❤
Super chill track on this video! Where do you get your music from?
Do you love cleaning out pools. Is it a job and this comes with it or more like: aw, s***. Here we go again.
Great video! Very relaxing. Please do more like this in the future.
Yo you alive?
It would be awesome if you started making a few videos on how to start a pool cleaning business. Teaching about what chemicals and equipment to use, how to find clients, and how to do pump/filter maintenance! (:
Beautiful compilation 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I love your work!

Absolutely WOW!!! What an amazing job
I went to start draining the pool because it wasn't used for 4 years, the cover fell in because it wasn't covered correctly and had many holes in it. It took me 3 weekends to drain it,get all of the algae and dirt off the bottom and side's, clean it and fill it up (18000 gallons),call the electrician because the electrical for the filter/pump shorted out, replace the pump motor and fill it and start the filter up and put the correct chemicals into it and vacuum the pool so the next weekend it was ok to go into it
Hi im from indonesiA!!
New subscribers sir I'm a pool attendant also thank you for sharing
Excellent video
hey pOOlguy, sick beats. 🔥🔥🔥
@poolguy How do you master the art of staying mostly clean despite the fact that most of these jobs are a swamp clean up? Even the spray from the power washing would seem unavoidable to be drenched all over in scum and dirt.
Part of my interest in watching these is how methodical you can be while staying clean and not working at a relatively comfortable pace. Mitigating stress and discomfort at work is 1/2 the battle. You do it really well. You always seem to keep your cool. At my job I have a hard time not flipping out when I run into problems or work hauls that you know are just going to kill your whole day. But then again I work for someone and get paid the same despite what's thrown at me. so idk. I just wish I had your calm and collected demeanor
Angle of spray
@@jayasmrmore3687 yep that’s true
I know not all the pool and hot tub's you clean are as bad as the one in this compilation. But wow do you ever get some bad ones! Just wanted to Hola back!
@poolguy I've seen a tool for power washing that looks much like a floor waxer. It looks like it makes quick work of power washing walkways and such and it seems to be more powerful than just using a nozzle. Maybe it would save you a lot of man labor if you tried one out? If you've seen these things, what are your opinion on them and why or why wouldn't you use one?
Hi I'm a big fam. Quik question how would I go about cleaning a green vinyl above ground pool?
TOO LONG, DONT WANT TO READ ALL THE DETAILS, SEE NEXT COMMENT..
it's best to get it tested to make sure that your pH and alkalinity is balanced. If it's green i would imagine one if not both of those are extreme low(pH would most likely be 8.0+ no matter what your ALK is, if it's green. )
The lack of chlorine makes it easier for algae to grow. So your pool will try to push your pH up! (Also your chlorine isn't going to be as affective if your oh is high. Example a balanced oh (7.2-7.6 will use 75%+ of the available chlorine in your pool whereas 7.8-8.0+ is going to be under 50% usable. (when i say available chlorine i mean your Free chlorine, not your total or combined chlorine. Free chlorine is what cleans your pool and makes it safe. )
Enough with the lessons, I'm happy to answer more if you want to know.
But if you don't have time to get it tested,
Get all the debris and leaves out of the pool, if you have a sand or D.E. filter that allows you to set your system to waste, then you could (it's best to over fill your pool for this) manually vacuum as much of the algae and what not out of the pool, also make sure to brush up all the algae off the walls and floor of your pool so that the chlorine can really get to work, you can vacuum on filter, but it's best to do it on waste, so it's not going through the sand(or DE cartridge.) . When you finish with that and you have some shock at home, (65% + cal hypo, 12.5% sodium hypochlorite NOT DICHLOR or any type of shock that has dichlor in it. Buy your chemicals from a pool store, unless you know what you are actually looking for. ) Then do a double dose of shock, preferably when the sun is no longer on your pool, but it's fine for now since the pool is really green. 2lbs of 75% quick desolving calcium hypochlorite per 10k gallons or 2gallons of 12.5% sodium hypochlorite per 10k gallons. The next day , or even within a few hours. Your pool should be clearing up. Or at the very least most of the green should be gone. At this point it would be best to get a sample down to a local pool store, or store than can professionally test your water so thay they can tell you what all you need to put in the pool, when and how to do it as well! When you get it cleared up try to look into how old your sand is (should be replaced every 3-5 years with a chlorine pool, every 1-2years with Baquacil, btw this clean up won't work for s Baquacil pool, then again your pool wouldn't be green if it was Baquacil. 🤣) or Maybe it's time to replace your cartridge filter as well, look into that. Or else the pool will start to turn green on you again pretty quickly. Even with a balanced pool.
Sorry this sounds overwhelming, but i try to hit every detail needed for people, bc most of this stuff isn't known.
Without knowing what your results are for the chemistry of your pool and assuming you use chlorine.
Step 1: get all or as much of the debris out of the pool that you can by brush and vacuum(to waste, if a sand filter).
Step 2:shock the shit out of it (2lbs 75%+ cal hypo or 2 gallons 12.5% sodium hypochlorite per 10,000 gallons) example. 24' round 52" depth AG pool is 13,500 gallons. So, if it was green and I couldn't see the bottom. 4-5 lbs of 75% pool life turbo shock or 4 gallons liquid chlorine (doesn't matter brand as long as it's 12.5% sodium hypochlorite and preferably not an old bottle because it loses potency) it wouldn't hurt to put a quart of pool life's super algae bomb 60% or 6 to 8 small packets of Baquacil algedefense(8-2 oz packs per box) also, this product is designed by Baquacil FOR mustard algae in a chorine pool so it's fine to use. (Please don't use something stupid like a gallon of algicide go ace hardware. It's not that strong, and it'll cause the pool to foam! If that's all you have on hand. Use the recommend dose on the back of the bottle.
Step 3: the next day or within a few hours even, the pool should be anywhere from crystal clear or hazy(can see the bottom) or maybe milky(can't see the bottom) it's best at this pool, no matter how it looks to get it professionally tested.
ORRR
As a buddy of mine likes to say,
(Brush and clear out debris first, of course)
SHOCK, FLOC, AND DROP IT(this process requires a sand filter so you can vacuum to waste again, on the back of a Baquacil flocculant bottle says that you can use it in a D.E. filter and onna cartridge filter, i don't like to though. Cartridge filters have to be rigged up for you to vacuum the pool, just a hassle to deal with)
double/triple dose of shock for your pool.(let run for 2-hours minimum, i prefer over night). Overfill the pool, turn pump off and add1.5lbs aluminum sulfate per 10k, gallons, do your best to spread the flocculant all across the surface of your pool. Then you wait. 12-48 hours later, you should have a crystal clear pool, with a cotton candy like substances on the floor, at which point you can slowly MANUALLY vacuum your pool TO WASTE. If it gets all stirred up and becomes cloudy with nothing to vacuum up. Just turn your pump off again, go ahead and overfill the pool again, then in 1-2 hours later everything will be back on the floor for you to vacuum again.
Once finished have the water professionally tested so that you can get your pool balanced again.
Sorry I know that I insinuated that this was going to be a super short response, buttt this comment has less details in it. But whatever. This is what I got for ya.
Feel free to respond/message me if you have any questions about this or just want me to help you learn more about your pool.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
Goodnight!
It's very good job.
Nice work

Satisfying
how do so many people in one service area have the very specific problem of a large in-ground pool being left to pond over a decade? wow
There's a saying....Rich people who own pools seldom use them
@@Novaximus the majority of people that own a pool, seldomly use them. Once they have lost their "new toy" feeling to them, especially when the kids have grown up. The father always wants to "run the pool over(AG pools) or fill hem with dirt to make s garden. Lol.
well gentlemen you certainly earn your money through hard bloody work I'm amazed people let there swimming pools and jacuzzies get so disgusting
your work is fantastic by the way

Why was there a tarp covering the pool surface? Is that common? Do people swim that way?

What do you do with all the sludge you get out?
You guys do resurfacing?
5:10 That one missing tile. 😡
*shrek has left the chat*
Can someone tell me exactly how much a job like this makes you? Cause this is very nice
That is the filthiest pool I've ever seen.
How can people ever let their pools get that dirty
What's the secret to the vinyl suddenly just 'de-creasing'?
Meus parabéns 👏👏 !
I just dont understand why people dont drain the water if they are going to leave the pool unused for so long
what are u doing with this mug?
Sometimes I look at these and wonder how did you let it get that bad because someone had to have watched it get like that for year and I understand old people or disabled people but still how
They just no longer want to fool with it. Or for the most part, it's too expensive nor can that do it themselves which becomes even more expensive.
May i know the title of all the bg music please
Music name?
Well, sir, you aren't lazy 🦥😅
What the hell did they do? Go on vacation for 5 years and come back to a dirty pool?
Music was a little too... weird at some point, not that "relaxing" !
Like your channel but not the half baked music, it really sucks
How do you prevent concrete pools from popping out of ground when you empty them?
Try to avoid draining the pool if it's rained within the last week or so, do you not have a hydrostatic valve in the bottom of your drain? They allow any water that's on the wrong side of your pool to flow into the correct, inside, of the pool. As long as there is enough water behind the pool to put pressure on the valve and open it. That's what they do for fiberglass pools, especially if you didn't install drain pumps in the ground near or around your pool to prevent large amounts of underground water to settle around the pool.
@@cravenmorpus is there a way to easily find out? I think it’s not a whole lot more than a concrete bowl filled with water, but it definitely does need to be emptied as it’s filled with plants and stuff!!
@@olivererrington unfortunately I'm not sure of anyway to check other than swimming down to your main drain and looking inside to see if it is in there. But you could maybe drain half your pool, then wait about a day or so to see if anymore water gets back into the pool. If it doesn't rain but your water level starts to go back up then it's safe to say you have one.
@@olivererrington when your pool is full to it's appropriate water level, the valve will stay shut. Mostly bc your pool will not float when there is water in it. Unless there is some sort of crazy flash flood or something which would never happen.
@@cravenmorpus hmm okay thanks so much for the help man :))
