Great job cleaning the pool! LOVE YOUR WORK! It would be better if the owners pressure wash around the pool first before you clean their pool. It looks so nasty ...
Assuming you are trying to work on a green pool, would recommend lowering it well below 7.6, closer to 7.0 the better. If it's lower than that, don't worry. It will probably raise throughout the process, especially if you're adding concentrated chlorine like shock. High PH hinders the efficiency of the chlorine. If you're not sure, just add a gal of muriatic acid, it never hurts when you got a green pool. You should have instructions on the floc. Just make sure pool is on recirculate if you got a multiport, you don't want the floc getting into the filter. Notice how he has a special pump for vacuuming without using the customer's filter? I understand not everyone is going to be able to do this. Especially if you don't have a multiport/DE/Sand filter and ability to recirculate. If you do use your filter to run it with floc or vacuum the pool, be sure to immediately backwash and or clean the filter.

Ive seen adapters online but i can imagine that would just hinder the flow rate as the initial hole is the same smaller size.
I think you get this suggestion a lot but I write it anyway. you could be working so much more comfortable using some kind of harness or headstrap to mount an action cam. that way you could even use both hands

I really like your vids but i have a question: isn't it cheaper, quicker and better for the environment to empty the dirty water out ISO cleaning it with so many chemicals? I can't imagine it is very healthy for people either. You do swim in it and sometimes swollow water by accident.

Looks like a Hayward pool pump he’s put a 1 1/2 inch fitting on top that goes to a hose, probably straight down the drain. Simple is best

Chlorine breaks down into salt over time. The Floc is just some Aluminium salts. Without those chemicals the water will spread disease.
