Chicago is beautiful and fun city, summer is beautiful, fall beautiful and part of the winter, some year November and December is warm. January, February those months are miserable weather, could be normal cold or extremely freeze then March could be cold or start warm. Specially I live close to the lake and every morning the sunrise hit my apt and when is summer 4 am my room get a lot light from the sun. But I am going to miss this apt.
Sooooooooooo looking forward to ur new travel vlog series! Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! And just LOVE all room/hotel/resort tours too!! And of course: the Food😋😋😋So fun like we’re traveling too! Our little special needs guy is pretty obsessed with all hotels, Airbnbs, etc. lol… Also please tell ur sister her outfit was super cute! And we’ll have to check out that Ozarks show ur mom really likes! Just Love u guys💕 and THX for doing what u do! God bless 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hey Kyle. Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) is the busiest airport in the US and in the world when looking at total passenger volume. O'Hare is pretty busy though!
Love the idea of travel around America with Kyle! Let’s people see different things and give us ideas of future places to visit! Thanks again for another adventure with the Pallo family!
Welcome to our beautiful, but expensive city. People don't understand when I say visiting Disney World is not expensive! LOL I love how excited all of you are to visit my home! I'm looking forward to seeing all the footage! Be sure to have Alexa buy Garrett's Popcorn. The carmel cheddar mix is amazing - especially when warm. Enjoy!
Welcome to Chicago! Take Alexa to Garrets popcorn and get the classic Chicago mix! Downtown is always so much colder because it's close to the lake. Come back in the summer. There's so much do and so many neighborhood festivals going on at that time. Next you come, let us locals know ahead of time. Some of us would love to show you around.
Welcome to Chicago! Love the Grand Lux and their beignets! And no, that’s not normal for it to be so dead ! The downstairs is usually packed with people waiting
Yay welcome to Chicago Kyle thanks for the kind comments of my city! You're in my old stomping grounds. Alexa go get some Garrets popcorn :) almost wish I was still living there to run into you but I do NOT miss the cold or traffic haha. Chicago is HUGE and has a lot to offer try to explore outside of downtown! Yes come visit here more :)
I LOVE Chicago!! Only have stayed at Intercontinental Hotel at Jo'burg International Airport...was (as the say down there) "Lekker!!" Grand Lux is fantastic! When I got to eat there a number of years ago, the host stand was down stairs, and you only went up the escalator when they were ready to seat you (got the joy of sitting at that huge bay window looking out to the street below!) Looks like y'all are having a great time in spite of the cold 😁
My husband grew up in Chicago and I've visited it a number of times. We'll be back to visit friends and family in May/June when the weather is not so cold (or hot). But it is a fun city, so enjoy!
I lived in Chicago before moving to Florida. I lived in one of the high-rises you drove past on Lake Shore drive. I loved it. Beautiful city. Glad you are enjoying it but I would recommend going back in the summer. The city is absolutely beautiful in the summer. It is cold in the Orlando area tonight with freeze warnings for the weekend.
I lived in Chicago for 26 years in Lakeview, four blocks from Wrigley on LSD. Moved to Orlando in 2019. I only miss it when I see other people enjoying the city.
That suite is amazing 🤩!! Thank you for taking us along with you to Chicago. Your mom: “It’s time for you to go back to Florida”. 😂. Now that she recommended “Ozark “, I’m going to watch it. Have fun!!
I loved my business trip to Chicago (a long time ago), but there's a reason why it's called The Windy City and being a Florida Boy now, you may not like living there! But I too do love Grand Luxe for dinner. The best time to visit Chicago is during the summer where there's so much do on the Lake side. Like living near a beach. Also, you have to try Deep Dish Pizza next time!
Hey Kyle! Chicago is actually my hometown and I'm glad that you enjoyed it! So awesome to see you in my stomping grounds! Thanks for all the laughs and incredible videos!
Glad you love Chicago, my hometown I live in the western suburbs now but when I come into the city, I stay at the Palmer House and eat at Italian Village Great Video thank you & say to your Mom & Alexis!👋
Remember that you’re traveling with women Kyle. Some extra luggage is a given. Mrs. Pallo is such a mom and I love it. Ooh the Grand Lux 🤤🤤🤤 I don’t know which is better between the two: grand lux or Cheesecake Factory. Both are so good. OMG! Living it up in that pool! Wow! P.s. I agree with others. Garett’s mixed popcorn is worth trying.
Wow, nice hotel!! Another great Vlog, Pallo family and the city is beautiful. I’m just wondering why such a nice hotel doesn’t have its own parking and why do you have to park 2 blocks away? That would totally discourage me to be there. Imagine you had to travel with kids and have more luggages, it’ll totally suck to walk and frag your luggages 2 blocks with a child in that freezing cold. Wit that said, can’t wait to see your next adventure in the beautiful city!!
Nice to come to my city. I always like when youtubers vlog in Chicago. I learn about places I never been to. Maybe I'll stay at the Intercontinental so I can go swimming there. Enjoy!
Dude that pool is incredible! All decked out in gold! OMg! Chicago looks so nice! Freezing but nice! Loving the content Kyle! Keep up the good work. Thank you CYa tomorrow!
Kyle Chicago Rocks! I work for Hyatt Hotels and I get 12 free nights. I use the nights at Chicago Hyatt Hotels. Other Hyatt Employees use their free nights in New York. They don't know what they are missing. Great Video.
Alexa, I absolutely understand why you took 2 bags. 🙂 Mrs. Pallo, Jason Bateman is incredible in any work he does. Kyle, great hotel! Spacious. Also, 29th floor! I use to request the highest floor until we experienced an emergency alarm in the middle of the night and had to go down the stairs with sleepy children in arms. 😰 lol. Thanks for the great vlog!
Welcome to the city! We're glad you're here 🥂 You cannot leave Chicago without Garrett's Popcorn for Alexa and your Dad! You can grab a drink for a free view of the city on the 95th floor of the former Hancock building at the Signature Lounge!
Grew up 20 miles from Chicago in Gary Indiana Chicago is a fabulous city that I spent lots of time in. Great restaurants, bars museums and shows and the Cubs too. Glad to see it through your eyes and excitement. I could totally see you living there but it so fricking cold with the lake effect winters.
Thanks so much for staying with us, our hotel is awesome! Next time feel free to come in to Michael Jordan's Steakhouse INSIDE the hotel and we'll make sure you get the full MJ VIP experience!! - Kristen Lehr GM Michael Jordan's Steakhouse Chicago.
Kyle, its like the first time you've been in a hotel.before. You should know that you have to be respectful of noise when you are in a hotel... especially a nice hotel. LOL
I hear good things about Chicago. I have not been there in 29 years. Did you see anything of Chicago Fire, Pd, or Med? They film there. Nice hotel . It is great to see your sister and mother in the vlog. Love your mother's nails. Enjoy your stay and enjoy the sights of Chicago. As Led Zepplin " Going to Chicago!"
I am in the Chicago area and I was waiting for you guys to see the vax requirement and the shock. The area is so quiet not due to the weather but due to the crime and looting in the nice area you’re in. Be careful out there! Chicago has gotten much worse in the past two years. I was out to dinner the same night you were and it was packed in the suburbs.
I think they Pallo family likes the idea of businesses discriminating against those who are unable to receive a COVID vaccine or who do not need a COVID vaccine. I suspect that's why they weren't very shocked by the requirement (though Alexa was a bit inconvenienced by it for a brief moment). Good point about the suburbs, and I've heard this a lot from many others who live in the area. It's interesting how people don't see how obvious this is. The downtown area is a ghost town, but the suburbs have been very busy. I can't imagine this discrepancy has anything to do with those outer suburb businesses either not having a vaccine requirement or not enforcing one. That, along with the crime/looting that you mentioned. I'm sure those issues aren't a factor at all. It's all just the weather (which obviously affects the suburbs as well) and an irrational fear of a cold virus! Yes, that must be it. LOL
@@RT-cc3hv I actually don't think they do in my opinion. They're not wearing masks when out and about in Wisconsin or Florida. They only wear when they have to. If I had to guess, I think they think the idea of the passport makes no sense.
@@kwh1183 I guess the fact that they're so unquestionably accepting of the vax passport requirement leads me to believe they agree with it. It's always possible that they're the types who don't necessarily like it but are willing to just go with the flow, but I'm not so sure. With that being said, last year Kyle suggested in one of his videos that Disney should enact their own vaccine passport system for park guests. He *explicitly* said this, but he became very quiet about the topic ever since. Granted, this was many months ago, and it's possible he has since changed his mind. However, it is something he at least *did* support, so it makes me wonder about his thoughts on Chicago's vaccine policy.
We have eaten there on LI. Its yummy. We have seen it in South Florida too. We went to Chicago a few years ago. Drove from Florida. It was an awesome trip. Have fun!
Welcome to our city! As a local I try to avoid downtown at all cost. Since you love burgers check out DMK Burger Bar on Sheffield. Hope you and your fam enjoy your time here.
$50 for parking; wow; same as other big cities (NYC, LA) but still "wow"; $275 ??? the Grand Floridian and Polynesian are $400. !!!! Just surprised how far the parking garage was from the hotel; no underground parking at the hotel??? I flew into Minnesota (Minneapolis) in February a few year ago; the news (weather) said " high temperature tomorrow; 0 degrees (low was -14 ) F; the completely empty restaurant was weird: and I've ordered a burger in a fancy restaurant in Paris (for real . . .but when we got to southern France I did try Frog's Legs [have too, right?] GREAT VID! My adventure? Epcot last Thursday; Genie+ for $15 worth every penny as I walked on Frozen (wait time 30+mins. stand by) and 5 other rides. Literally, entered Haus and kept walking onto boat at Frozen. The Land? by- passed 50+ guests and walked on that boat also.
Welcome to the city Kyle! Next time check out Lous or Pequod's for pizza (us city folk prefer it to Giordanos). Best burgers are at Au Sheval. I love Disney World (my home away from home), but this city's food scene is among the best in the world. Based on your caffine habit also recommend the Starbucks Reserve location on Michigan ave. Its amazing. P.S. - You chose wisely on the beer, Revolution is great, check out the brew pub. If you're craving cocktails, 3 dots and a dash.
So much fun!!! I also love Chicago, I need to go back soon. Your adventures with your mom and sister are great! I love the relationship between you and Alexa. Tell your mom I would love to sit down and watch Ozark with her… it’s the best! Thanks for all you do, I really enjoy your videos. My husband and I will be in Disney next week. I hope you are there and we get to meet you!
Stayed at the Venetian in Vegas. There's a Grand Lux Cafe there. We ordered to go one night and brought up to the room. It was just okay for us. The traffic in Chicago limits me going more often.
Auntie Ann’s pretzels my daughter loves the cinnamon bites. Lake Forest is where I live for seven years before I move to Brookfield Wisconsin. Yes traffic in Chicago stinks! If you’re ready for some Greek food go to Athena‘s. They have grilled octopus excellent fried cheese very good! When I go to deluxe Café I get a burger but the highlight is the creole mustard put it on your fries out of this world! Thank you Kyle, Susan, and Alexa for humoring Kyle again! Recommendation for breakfast if you’re up for donuts or a sandwich breakfast sandwich Do-rite donuts 233 E Erie Street The donuts are excellent the bacon maple donut is excellent do not drink the coffee the chicken sandwiches are excellent they make them fresh!
Wish I could meet ya when you're here in Chicago!! Native here. Never stayed at the Intercontinental or ate at the Grand Lux. Michigan Ave has been a ghost town because there has been A LOT of crime and theft and right now it's just not the safest. P.S. You guys were driving past my neighborhood on that highway!
Went to Chicago once. Nice place - more laid back than NYC imo. I think you will do well traveling the US and interspersing that content with Disney updates.
Your sister is so beautiful, even from a close-up you can tell she is. And the squares brown yellowish coat and her hair 💪 looks amazing🥂. She looks like a California girl. Btw I don’t know if is just me, but she is looking way thinner 👌🏻. Cool blog. Chicago is beautiful!
Chicago does look amazing! I have never been there but have friends and family who have and they love it! I didn't realize it's only a 2 hour hour drive from Wisconsin. Thank you for taking us along. My mom and I eat at Grande Lux Cafe in Pa. all the time...it's one of our favorites! 🤗🙂
Yay!!! My hometown! Welcome to tight parking spaces and very pricey parking everywhere. If you come back check out Au Chaval. Best burger you'll ever have and fun restaurant in the west loop area. Yes, come back often. Chicago loves you!
Wow!! The Intercontinental!! I look forward to seeing this at lunchtime!! From the view you showed on Instagram, looks looks like it is the IC next to a hotel where I stayed a couple of years (well, a little more) ago (I think there is a Comfort Suites next to the IC…client arranged that stay for me)…but love the view of the river from there.
It’s a cool hotel with a interesting back story, however it’s rate is way to high only reason I booked was I got the room for under $100 with points. There’s no one staying there the mag mile is a ghost town and the regular rate was like $400 Id op for the holiday inn and a continental breakfast in the am overall lol
It’s so good to see you with your sister and mother having fun And you always have that smile keep it that way you are fantastic and so are all your Vlogs and I haven’t said this for a little while your mother father and sister should move to Orlando Sunday
If you're still in Chicago or for next time, hit more of the neighborhoods for dining. Parson's Chicken & Fish in Lakeview or Andersonville is perfect for lunch. Grab dinner at the Chicago Firehouse in the South Loop. For entertainment hit up Second City. Avoid Navy Pier. There's nothing there.
Sounds like an awesome series 👍 I loved Chicago - spent a few days there after visiting a friend in Appleton WI but it was summer. Bro, that hotel, wow what a view - shh Kyle 😂 That restaurant looked great & all to yourself, good times 👍 Well I've never just jumped into a pool directly back from dinner but it looked fun (may have to try that 😂)
Welcome to Chicago! Trust me I understand it’s cold I work outside here in Chicago and it’s not fun at all You should try the big Starbucks on Michigan Ave
Welcome to Chicago Kyle! Hope you have a blast while you are here. Venture outside of downtown to find some really great restaurants. This city is loaded with them. Love following your vlogs and am excited you will be expanding to do more travel.
Welcome to the Windy City, excited to bring you a new vlog series.. TRAVELING Around America :)
What a fresh idea for the vlog! Kudos, K!

thanks I was about to say Garrett's popcorn. There are two close by to the hotel.
Same! And yes, Garrett's for sure!
Did Alexa get the Garrett's?? So good. 😋

I can't believe you've made it through this entire trip with that thin jacket ;) So glad you are traveling and it's nice you brought your family too.
Yes! You need to visit Chicago more often. It has so much to offer. Great to see your mom and sister went with you. Enjoy the rest of your trip!
Chicago is a fantastic city with all the joys of New York at half the cost. Also a great place to be based for travel. Enjoy!
Love Chicago-precovid many years ago - took a bus tour and ate at Palmer house so yummy . It was a fabulous time.
Welcome to Chicago! Love the Grand Lux and their beignets! And no, that’s not normal for it to be so dead ! The downstairs is usually packed with people waiting

Chicago is HUGE and has a lot to offer try to explore outside of downtown! Yes come visit here more :)
You don't want to move to Chi-town. Those police cars and ambulances are a big reason why...it's a very dangerous city right now.
I LOVE Chicago!! Only have stayed at Intercontinental Hotel at Jo'burg International Airport...was (as the say down there) "Lekker!!" Grand Lux is fantastic! Garrett's Popcorn is much better! SOOOO excited that you're here and it's awesome how EXCITED you were when you saw our beautiful skyline. HAVE FUN!
6:50 momma pallo said shhh 🤫 Kyle: what we are in a hotel 🏨 hahaha 🤣 it’s a nice room
People call her Mom Pallo.

Has Alexa tried Garrett’s popcorn? I think it’s Chicago’s best. You’re so close to me. We moved from Madison to Chicagoland.
The police and ambulance siren is the city anthem 😂 awesome place to visit!

Love Chicago, such a fun city. And really enjoying the fun and different content in 2022!
Glad you love Chicago, my hometown
I live in the western suburbs now but when I come into the city, I stay at the Palmer House and eat at Italian Village
Great Video thank you & say to your Mom & Alexis!👋
Remember that you’re traveling with women Kyle. Some extra luggage is a given.
Mrs. Pallo is such a mom and I love it.
Ooh the Grand Lux 🤤🤤🤤 I don’t know which is better between the two: grand lux or Cheesecake Factory. Both are so good.

Building is very old before big parking lots were a thing. Real estate is a premium around there.
Yes! You should visit here more! Welcome! It is a beautiful city that has something for everyone! Your hotel looked lovely!
I love the skyline. Chicago has one of the best skylines ever
Nice to come to my city. I always like when youtubers vlog in Chicago. I learn about places I never been to. Maybe I'll stay at the Intercontinental so I can go swimming there. Enjoy!
I loved your video Kyle!. My daughter just moved to Il, just outside of Chicago. I can't wait to visit her and visit this very pretty city.

LOL, love that your Mom is an Ozark fan! So am I. Sourdough bread is an acquired taste and I have learned to love it!
I think I knew that it was the busiest airport but fun fact my dad was there when they were filming the scene in home alone at the O’hare airport
Buy Garrett's popcorn and the Chicago mix! Incredible.
Glad you like Chicago. I spent some time there and hope I never have to go back. :)
You're here!! Yay! Enjoy our home 🏡 Chicago does require vax cards with ID. GL is usually very busy. Could be the day of the week that you went 🤷🏾♀️
I can't believe they made that second room so big, but didn't put a pull out in it. So strange.
Agree. Thought for sure that sofa would have been a pull out.

I love how we’re getting more of Mom and Alexa! Keep safe always Pallo family!
Fabulous room ! Chicago looks amazing !
Dang! You can drive 2 hours and be in a different state? I can drive two hours and will still be in the same province !
Glad that you enjoyed Chicago. By the way, Atlanta is the busiest airport in the US (actually ATL is the 2nd busiest in the entire world).
Since your family loves popcorn I am going to suggest Garrett's popcorn again! It is soooooooo yummy
The pool at this Hotel is 10 feet deep.
I believe the airport in Atlanta, Georgia is the busiest in the the United States.
I have been to Chicago many times! I live Chicago! I have stopped at Lake Forest Oasis too. Good popcorn there!
Looks like a beautiful hotel. Lots on more local restaurants for you to enjoy...rather than a chain. Glad you had a good time.
Auntie Anne's was originally started in Lancaster PA.
Dude. You went to a chain style restaurant in one of the world's great cities. I'm weeping
I am from Iowa. I love Chicago, but what about a Lyft or Uber? Each Chicago block is like a mile long!
Haven't started the new season of Ozarks yet... The pool looked amazing
You want that mountain of buildings look, you should see midtown Manhattan skyline in person from the Jersey side of Hudson River.
Go Kyle! (&fam) the view from your room was awesome! We are Gonna have to try that restaurant ASAP it looked amazing!
Haha...can't believe you jumped in the pool.
LAX, O'Hare, JFK, DFW busiest I've experienced personally
Great video. Love Chicago. Visited for a long weekend a few years ago and went to a Cubs game. Fun times. Lots of good food to be had.
The room looks cool and that restaurant fantastic! -S
It has been cold this week! I stayed at the Intercontinental when I went in the service.
My family and I have been going to the Grand Lux for years!!! Hope you enjoyed it 😍
The Pool at the InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile is open to Executive Tower & Grand Tower Guests.
Sounds like an awesome series 👍 I loved Chicago - spent a few days there after visiting a friend in Appleton WI but it was summer. Bro, that hotel, wow what a view - shh Kyle 😂 That restaurant looked great & all to yourself, good times 👍 Well I've never just jumped into a pool directly back from dinner but it looked fun (may have to try that 😂)
I'm glad you enjoyed my hometown chicago best city in the world
Welcome to Chicago!
Trust me I understand it’s cold I work outside here in Chicago and it’s not fun at all
You should try the big Starbucks on Michigan Ave
Welcome to Chicago Kyle! Hope you have a blast while you are here. Venture outside of downtown to find some really great restaurants. This city is loaded with them. Love following your vlogs and am excited you will be expanding to do more travel.
Happy to have you here Kyle!
Welcome to the Windy City 🥶
Maybe next time you visit it will be 🥵. It is kind of nice to see a visitors perspective.
Loved this vlog. Chicago looks amazing, loved your hotel
