Omg! Chicago is just like NYC. Except that they don’t have all the glittery lights all around the building and it doesn’t compare the entertainment they have in the Big 🍎. You should definitely visit NYC and then after that come pay a visit down to South Beach (Miami) or Downtown Miami. If you do a Vlog here in my hometown, you are going to love the Miami scenery in the Downtown area.
And u should totally rent some Airbnbs, vrbo’s, etc. sometimes😄😄😄🌸👍💕😘😘😘
The bean is actually called "Cloud Gate" and is a sculpture commissioned for the opening of Millennium Park. That park used to be an old train yard which was an eye sore in such a beautiful part of the city.

lol as someone who spent almost 7 years of her childhood in orlando (enjoying disney and universal to its fullest), and then moved to chicago (and have lived here for over 20 years). The answer to if you should move to Chicago is an enthusiastic "absolutely no. Hell no." It is toooo cold hahaha

FYI ~ That 4 story star bucks used to be my favorite store on the mag mile ~ Crate and Barrel. Garrett's popcorn is the BEST!!!! Glad you found it. The ice ring is free. There is an even better one just east of the bean and FREE!!!! And no chicagoan calls it willis tower. It will always be the sears. And if do move to Chicago, go to Lincoln Park or a bit north to wrigley/lakeview. I lived there for years and LOVED it.

OMG, I’m a Starbucks junkie so to see this 5 story Starbucks is just a total treat. I don’t know when I’ll be able to go to Chicago to see it, so thank you for this Vlog. I’m a gold card holder with over 2,000 stars. You could’ve earned so many stars with your purchase there. And the pastries look amazing.
I’m also not a fan of heights but the sky deck is absolutely breathtaking. Reminds me of the tower in Macau and the Strat in Las Vegas.
And Kyle, I agree with you on Seeing the Disney home is like paying homage to where the mouse started.

Originally the bean was called cloud gate but us locals dubbed it the bean and it was created by Anish Kapoor finally unveiled and finished in 2006 in millenium park.
Holy Cow, it's amazing that Walt's house is still there, awesome 👍 OMG for a Disney person like me that's a major piece of history - I hope they do make it a museum. It was Sears tower when I was there. Proud to say I did step out on that ledge but only for a few seconds 😂 I can't get over the house though - I didn't even know it was there...a must see now (but in warmer weather 😂)

Lots of people do hand stands. It took me a few trips before I agreed to lay down on the ledge.

My family and I went to Chicago when my daughter was around 8 or 9 and she loved the bean. Almost 7 years later she got a leopard gecko for Christmas and named it bean.

We visited the Walt Disney birthplace in Chicago last summer. Super cool! You need to visit Marceline, MO…Walt’s inspiration for Main St USA. It will also give you the “shivers”!!
Wow the buildings are so big! So much more bigger than in England! I love seeing your different vlogs and your home and family vlogs. Loved seeing where you came from 😊 you should travel to each state and do one thing in that state whether it’s an activity or visiting somewhere. That would be cool 😊
It’s not named the bean. Its Cloudy Gate. It’s because it mirrors the sky and everything around the CLOUD GATE. Alexa if you want to protect your leather boots or suede boots from stains there’s a protector that you can get at Walmart shoe department. The deep dish pizza is VERY HEAVY. Will is the MAN! Glad you were visiting Chicago. You actually showed the building where I began my banking career when you were walking in Michigan Ave and then when you were up in the Willis Tower (will always be Sears Tower to me) you showed the building where I retired from 🤗 46 years of working in the city.
I love Chicago deep dish pizza but not really a fan of Giardano’s.
It is awesome that Walt Disney’s birthplace is being brought back to his it was in 1901.

Fun fact: that Starbucks used to be the flagship store for Crate & Barrel. I need to visit the roastery cause it looks awesome! P.S. I have lived here my whole life and have never been to the Disney house OR to the Sears (Willis) Tower or the John Hancock lol!
John Hancock Centers view is amazing and often has much shorter lines than the Sears Tower. And you are still over 1,000 ft above the ground regardless when at the 94th floor. I have been to the top of the Sears Tower and John Hancock Center probably no less than 10 times each. (Literally) The view is amazing from both towers and they give different perspectives.

Chicago & I have a love/hate relationship lol! I took a weekend trip this past November & had a good time.. Lots to see & do & the food was great (We did Giordanos as well)… I guess the hate part is if I have to drive/park/& deal with all that side of the city life😂👍 Coming from a Milwaukee Guy

Yes, yes yes...... Air B and B Chicago for a month! Yolk is amazing too. Our family goes every weekend for breakfast, even if we just do a take out. Oh and with Garretts you have to eat the cheese and caramel together and check out Lou Malnatis and Pizzano's pizza! You covered Chicago perfectly. Chicago tourism should make a deal with you! Thanks for visiting my city.

Great video, being from Chicago, it will always be the Sears tower. Interesting fact, my neighbors engineering firm worked on that deck, I would have never walked Out there, but I knew it was in good hands…and Giordanos pizza, one of my favs…
One way to experience a coffee flight when tasting cover the top of the cup, smell the coffee to get the scent, then slurp it when trying it to see what flavours you taste and where the coffee hits in your mouth. Fun! Having grown up in NYC and living in Chicagoland the past 20 years I say go for it.! Obviously you can handle Midwest winters but try it for a summer. As you know Lake Michigan is the best.

If you’re planning a trip to NY don’t forget about eastern Long Island. Vineyards, Hamptons, Montauk.. not too mention some pretty fabulous people live there. 😊

Yay for New York! I know it's a long time from now, but I recommend visiting in December at Christmastime. I've been in the summer too, which was amazing, but at winter it is just so magical.
