Yes, I'm bummed about Happily Ever After. It is one of the best nighttime shows Disney's ever done. It had so many characters and an incredible soundtrack. I guess we'll wait and see.

We stayed at the Shades of Green several years ago. It was nice, but it’s nothing to write home about. If you go expecting luxury you might be disappointed, but we spent most of our day at the parks so we didn’t mind at all. It’s a decent place to sleep and you get the perks of staying on property. We would stay there again. Hope you enjoy your trip!
LOVE LOVE LOVE Happily Everafter. Sorry to see it go. My guess is that they may bring it back for a limited engagement for all of us Disney nerds! But they'll replace it with something new. I'm OK with that since every time I think they can't improve on the current, Disney proves me wrong and blows my mind!! Looking forward to future! Congrats Kyle on the new exciting opportunities! Definitely make sure to interview your cruise director on the Mardi Gras, Chris, “The Flying Scotsman”. I’ve been on 13 Carnival cruises and he is the most amazing cruise director ever. Also, make sure to see his own shown he puts on at night. He’s also an amazing singer. Can’t miss him, he’s always wearing a kilt. Your gonna have a great time! Love Carnival.
I'm sad about Happily Ever After!! We were down there in 2017 and 2019 and on the 2019 trip, I never did get to see the show in its entirety. It was like one time we tried, we missed the last ferry boat and watched it from very, very afar. And another time, we got into MK right at 9 and it was wall to wall people and i was having to watch it in parts from the monorail, thru the gate, down Main Street, and then craning my neck at the back of the hub. I am so bummed! I don't get to see it ever again, not even next trip, 2022. I'm excited for all of the 50th special things though :)
Hi. I am brand spanking new to your vlogs Kyle. This is the second one I've seen. I did enjoy it and think you do a great job filming and editing! Forgive me for being a bit inquisitive but how in the world do you get so much time off from work? There's no way my boss would let me go on back to back vacations! Sadly!!! Or do you telecommute? And secondly, where do you live? I don't mean your address, etc., but your room looks a lot like some of the military dorms I lived in when I was in the Navy! Hope you enjoyed Shades of Green. We stayed there for a week and it's very comfortable and quiet if not real extravagant. Happy travels!!

I am so sad that Happily Every After is ending, that is an EPIC show!!! How totally exciting about the cruises coming up!! You will love the Disney Dream 💕 That was my 1st cruise ever, destination was the same. I have also been in the Disney Wonder to Alaska.. Kyle, if you ever get the chance, Alaska is beautiful!
Disney always knocks it out of the park so to speak with their firework shows, they're so well produced. I'm happy to see what's up next for the Magic Kingdom after the 50th anniversary show.
I will be on that cruise on the Mardi Gras too! It looks like an incredible ship. And excited that a few of the paid for restaurants will be included this cruise! Definitely have to try chibang and Shaqs chicken

I am super excited to see Shades of Green! It used to be the Disney Inn way back when. We stayed there once when I was in middle school (so like early 90s) for a Christmas trip to Disney. I can't wait to see what it looks like now! I love that they've turned it into a military resort
Shades of Green was our go to every year we came. Now we live here so we don’t have to stay in a resort. Its beautiful and I understand why, but I wish it was a little more Disney themed.

I’m not sure why people are sad and confused about Happily Ever After. They already announced a new fireworks show for the 50th anniversary, which will last a year and a half. I wouldn’t be surprised if they bring back the show after the anniversary is done, which Disney is known to do. Main Street Electrical Parade anyone lol?
Honestly three reasons the music/song is amazing I mean Jordan And Angie were a perfect match doing this song, do to COVID we missed a year and a half of it and I feel it just brings such hope and dreams to so many in which we need right now more than ever! I find it to be the best one ever!
They announced that HEA would be “sparkling into Disney history” on September 29th, so I don’t think it’s coming back
I never wanted to admit it, but once they announced the new effects for the 50th anniversary fireworks, I just knew they were gonna change the fireworks after the celebration. I am sad to see it go, but as long as Tink flies in the new show.... I will be okay. Disney hasn't let me down with new shows yet. So, I have faith and trust in their pixie dust!

You should consider getting TSA Precheck. Saves time in the busier airports.
We just booked our Stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge for Labor Day weekend to see Happily Ever After one last time. Excited for our trip, but so so sad that my favorite disney fireworks are saying farewell. Would have loved to be there on the 29th, but being a teacher makes that trip basically impossible. Happily Ever After Forever!
I love the variety with the non Disney park vlogs mixed in with your regular content, so this will be a great two weeks of vlogs!
I definitely think the 50th fireworks show should run for 6 months tops and then Happily Ever After should come back. I’m not too optimistic that the new show can top HEA but I am still crossing my fingers. A year and a half time span doesn’t make sense for an anniversary show and HEA only got a 3 year run which is much too short for how beloved it is.

BTW, thanks to your keen news updates, I was able to get a reservation for the Hollywood Movie Studios park last May, 2021. I was giving my nephew some Disney updates and his wife asked me, where did I learn all this stuff. I told them Kyle told me!

Why do people post comments about how sad they are when the fireworks change? Remember all the negativity when Wishes went away? Having been a Disney Cast Member from as far back as the 25TH Anniversary in 1996, there will always be changes to nighttime entertainment every so many years. Changes to fireworks is not something to be sad over …cancer…now that’s something to be sad about. Be thankful you get to experience Disney at all when others cannot.

We will be at WDW September 8th for a week. Cant wait to see the fireworks, missed out on our last trip because of the virus forcing crowd sizes to be way too low for them. Just need people in Florida to take this seriously and get vaccinated so we can fully return to old normal without Disney needing to limit things again.

Yay for the cruise. As soon as I heard about HEA I added a day to my trip so I could be there the last day and booked park Rez for mk. I’m not ready. But excited to see the new fireworks the next day.

Makes sense Happily Ever After ending since they have new “more cost effective “ projections on Main Street which will mean less fireworks. Really like Disneyland’s show...it will probably be like that.

Just a few years ago when Disney got rid of “Wishes” fireworks, everyone was bitching and moaning and actually saying how much they disliked Happily Ever After. And now everyone is all broken up because of the hiatus HEA is taking during the anniversary year? Can’t have it both ways people. I personally am willing to bet HEA will be back after the 50th anniversary celebration. However a new show will probably also be as or more spectacular. This goes along the lines of Tokyo Disneyland where shows usually rotate often with a 5 year max life span. As of now I’m more excited about HarmoniUs and the new Disney Enchantment simply because it will bring some technical wizardry seen at other Disneyland parks around the world to the usual lag behind budgets of the Magic Kingdom. For that I’m willing to skip HEA for a while.
The new carnival ship is huge. Also the cruise director is Chris Williams and he is awesome!

Sad about happily ever after, but I'm HOPING that disney will bring back wishes! That show was around for a little bit and people were angry when happily ever after took over, so MAYBE disney will listen and bring back wishes!
