Making good soap that won't dry your skin is quite the process. I do prefer something natural, over the chemical laden products in the stores.It's good that you can offer people with sensitive skin and alternative product. 💖💖💖

I understand the lotion after showering part. I'm diabetic, have been for years. My skin is like a fish scale consistency. I have never found a lotion to work for me, or a soap. Now, my son loves loves loves Hi Boy, but he's got perfect skin and just loves the scent. I guess I do have a question. What lotion or soap can I use to have skin that doesn't hurt so much. The feel of the skin is not so much a "must" for me at this time, but it IS painful to move at times due to the cracking. Especially in the winter times. Did some research on why you have to use lye in soap. Lye is the catalyst that makes everything combined the way it's supposed to. So, you really can't make soap without it.❤
Stepf, why aren't you wearing gloves and goggles? I've been making soap for six years and I've never worked without protection. Otherwise..great video. 😊
Please at least protect your eyes with goggles when you're working with lye and raw soap batter 🫣 One of the soap makers I watch accidently splashed raw soap batter into her eye when she was blending... she could have lost her eye to a chemical burn. Soap batter is caustic until it goes through the saponification process. Accidents happen so quickly and they can be life changing ❤❤❤

I tried making soap with LARD. WOW. Lather like crazy. Skin soft. Course had coconut oil too. Made goats milk with canned goats milk. It was good too.

My skin is too dry for regular soap. I use a soap free fragrance free body wash. Then a ultra hydrating lotion afterwards.
