- TheQuiltShow.com had Robin Long teach on Show 3109. We fell in love with her and her technique that made making a Mariner's Compass quilt easy. So, we invited her to make a summer project for us and teach her technique. With her permission, the class is free. We have wonderful kits for a quilt and a Tree Skirt that are gorgeous.

I was so surprised today when you showed the ruler for this summer's project. I have the ruler!!! I don't know when or why I bought it, but hurray! I also have a big package of Kaffe fabric. Now for the pattern and I'm all in. Thank you Alex!

Robin is correct. Her designs are not difficult, just a different way of constructing. Once you understand her design, you will get it.
What a joy you are. And I loved everything that you showed. I live in Idaho so when Robin said she would be in Idaho in July my ears went on hight alert. I will do what you said and sign up for the news letter, boy do I want to learn this method/ruler. I wish you a speedy and healthy recovery. With your attitude things can't help but go well. I almost cancel My appointment last year but I didn’t and it was a good thing I didn’t. Because I had been diagnosed with cancer. This coming Wednesday will be my first ultrasound.
So yes everyone get your mammogram it is so important to do so.

Saying "Not Difficult" reminds me of my late mother. When anyone would tell her something was easy she would always respond with "So is brain surgery if you know how. 😂.

Does the quilt store sell the ruler?
I thought it was the one side of the anchor touching the zig zag and the other side not.
are the patterns available if we already have the rulers and are using our own fabrics?
