  • This generator was on sale for $900 at the usual skumbags a couple weeks ago while we were out of power. I was tired of limiting what we could run with the 5000/4000 watt generator so I decided to step it up to over kill.

There’s never any liquids when shipped. 10-30 is a 30wt oil. Viscosity will be dependent on your environment.

We lost power again a couple days ago and it worked flawlessly for 2 tanks of fuel. So the metal in the oil from the first oil change probably was manufacturing debris, which isn’t great but it’s better then it being the bearing material. I’m going to change the oil again this weekend and see how it looks.

It’s got over 100 hours on it and there’s no hole in the block yet. No issue running my 48k btu mini split.

    You get annoyed very easily.
