    10. Questions for @TheDapperham. Straight answers please - no Weird Al Yancovich stuff.
    1. What year did the idea for Aptera begin?
    2. What year is it now? (I'm starting easy)
    3. What year did Fambro and Anthony walk away due to losing interest?
    4. What year did Aptera go bankrupt and liquidate?
    5. How much did Google investors lose in 2011 (total, not individually) due to the fold?
    6. How many failed startups has Chris Anthony ran?
    7. Did Aptera have a working product when it failed?
    8. Does it have one right now - today?
    9. Did Jonway make a working silly trike after they bought the IP well over a decade ago?
    10. How much cash went down the gurgler by making 100s of useless solar panels at Vista and breaking the lease?
I have another 40 questions in groups of 10 - just think most of you disciples need your fingers to count. Let's get your first answers first? Of course, Hillbilly Bill; Chad and Sarah; Jeff the ninj; and every other pro-Aptera RUclipsr is invited to answer as well (too many to keep listing), and especially Steve F. and Chris A. are welcome to answer. I realize the latter are way too busy asking for money, lol, but they did promise me once two years ago and have yet to honour that promise. Maybe it was bobblehead Sarah who promised? I got blocked instead so their persistent lies could go unchallenged.

Interesting news from reddit was Chris himself stated that CPC was still trying to assemble a jig to allow bonding of the vehicle to take place and considering they have had the pieces since November something must not be working out well. This does not bode well for volume production. It is also entirely possible that since Aptera is only paying to complete one PI now that CPC does not put any priority on it

    • @aussieideasman8498
      @aussieideasman8498  7 месяцев назад

If they had the designs of the parts before they made the molds they should have started on the jig. That's over a year ago. Gross incompetence. If they bond them by hand, then the silly trikes are not production intent like they should be. Even one is many weeks behind by now. If they ever were serious about making this crap, they have displayed gross incompetence in far too many areas - more than just dragging the chain on the jig.

@@aussieideasman8498 - CPC builds Italian Supercars. Last time I checked, that's not a large volume product. So they take their time to make everything. No need to rush. With Aptera needing them right now, maybe they should have picked another company that works at a faster pace.

@@billsmith5960 The size of the tub was a real headache for CPC, and that piece is far smaller than any supercar. Wake up to the lies that cars are made there. They make parts like air dams, mirrors, rear spoilers and maybe the odd bonnet or engine cover. If a whole car has ever been made there, I would like too know what it is and the source article that proves it?
As for getting another company, there was probably a better one just over the border in Canada, but the pretended Italy was the only place it was being done. I reckon it was because the brown paper bags were bigger in Italy.

@@aussieideasman8498 - CPC makes Italian Supercars. It must be some sort of brand but I have never heard of it.
On the other hand, they could be making components for these Italian Supercars. Doing it with the forged CF, laid up CF and even just old school SMC. For example they might make a diffuser for a Ferrari. Thus a supplier for a part. In the real world, there are many suppliers for Italian Supercars. Marelli is a supplier but does not mean they make the car. Bosch makes lots of parts for companies, doesn't mean they make the actual car.
I think it's better if we just assume a company that "makes" $400K Italian supercars will make a $25,900 Aptera. Makes perfect sense.

2:16 where is your evidence? I'll like to see some material to go over.

    • @aussieideasman8498
      @aussieideasman8498  7 месяцев назад

2:16 lands on the slide where I approximate her claim it will literally fill your tank, so the first slide I made was around 2:06 that first said it was wrong to be literal. Get your dictionary out and check the meaning with the Aptera specs if you want evidence for it not being literal. Next I said there has to be a tank, meaning there isn't one. Your checking the specs will have verified that part. Two down. Lastly, I said there isn't even an Aptera just to show that it didn't matter if tank was used colloquially. I specifically said "tank or battery" so that nobody was left wondering what I meant. If you want evidence of this you can get it by checking your property for an Aptera to begin with, since she did say "your" tank. After that, you can get the list of preorders from Aptera and contact every one to see if even one of them has a tank (or Battery - I will allow removing the literal part) in an Aptera. Or just see if they have an Aptera. Either way proves she's lying.
Now we are on to the slide you want evidence of and material to go over. The evidence is of the time to fill an Aptera battery (I allowed the loose terminology) so there are four times; one for each battery size. Take note (and maybe check your dictionary) that the first rider I state is that these are approximates. I do this because AM has not tested for any one of them and revealed their results. This is because not one prototype comes close to having the lowest battery size or any for that matter. All are theoretical batteries. However, if I have erred in my calculations, I should still be approximate. I say what is likely for me to be off - lying claims by AM. I made sure I added "unproven" because if they were always clear that they used their CFD every time they made a claim I would not say they lied, but there are so many times they advertise the claims to get money without mention of the CFD or their untested status that it constitutes lying in my book. Take that as an opinion, and opinions don't require evidence. In any case, I have revealed what I used to get my approximations - rubbery figures from AM.
Now for the math. I could have replaced those 4 battery sizes with the claimed ranges (250; 400; 600 & 1,000) miles respectively, but it doesn't matter which. Either is clear and AM has often equated them as such. I took 'fill' to mean from zero to 100%, since she didn't say 'top up'. Here is how I did the calculations:
Battery size divided by 4. It's that simple. The reason why it's so easy is because the even ten miles claim and the even 40 miles per day means ten into forty is exactly four, and 40 divided by ten is what gets you the kWh it uses per day. So if you start at empty and you wait a day, you have added 4 kWh. Wait 6 days and that would be 24 of the 25 kWh battery, so a quarter of a day more fills it up. Wait ten days and you will fill a 40 kWh battery; 15 days for 60, and 25 for 100, respectively.
I didn't factor in days that the weather changed, so all days must be at maximum sunlight. I didn't factor in which way the non-existent silly trikes were facing all the days, and I couldn't be bothered with the nonsense that the 100 kWh battery will be 98. After all - it was just an approximation.
I hope that is enough material for you to go over? Maybe go over it five or six times if you need to?

I have seen you tube videos of 70mph range tests and a MG gets 3.74mpkwh. 4.49 for an enclosed motorcycle is no big deal. An Aptera weighs 2,000 lbs less, has a better wind CD and only gets less than 1 mpkwh more range. They have had the gamma, do a range test. I'm going to preserve one (or two) here because it may get blocked on 'Driving a Solar Powered Car Prototype! | 2024 Aptera' by Electrek Garage. And I need a break. - Part 1.
    A bit of fact-checking:
0:57 How do you know it's a multi-million dolar prototype? Have you seen the costings?
    1:04 It's not a 2024 just Aptera - it's the Gamma made in December 2022.
1:09 The jury is out on whether it is solar powered or a fake like the Alphas. I hope you found out?
1:23 They were founded in 2006, 3 years before 2009.
1:47 Gamma is not almost production intent. It would not be within 40% of being PI. Happy to name some glaring differences - The whole body is resin-infused, not made at CPC of different materials; the screen is mostly dysfunctional; there is no regen; there's no torque vectoring; no AC; the LE will have solar on 4 panels and this may have none; Gamma steers like a kid's cart; it has no real wing mirrors. It was all hand built without there being a production plant. What do you regard to be "almost"?
1:53 There isn't anywhere near 60% of manufacturing toolin done. Rubbery figures at best. Can you prove it?
1:55 They are only talking promises while looking like they will fail. Look with your eyes not your ears.
2:14 Hub motors are more inefficient than efficient when all things are considered. Happy to explain why. Dangerous is never cool.
2:44 YES but less stiff is a NO.
3:06 Even a little bit of a blind spot is bad.
3:22 You should not hear external motors - not enough sound deadening.
3:46 Add no power brakes and steering to not being near prod ready.
3:53 Watch constant steering correction to left as he tries to drive straight.
3:58 Gamma can't charge at 700 w on solar - needs 4 panels and only has two. Not sure if they work and no proof 700 w is true for 4.
4:01 Gamma was designed to be solar. Since 2019, they decided no car would be sold without it.
4:04 Aptera 2006 was designed for efficiency first, but didn't become the most efficient as hoped for.
4:09 The weight of solar removes a lot of the original efficiency. It's not needed (redundant) when you can charge from home and while out.
4:30 Aptera only claims 10 mi/kWh, but never has proven it. It's snake oil.
4:53 You didn't show solar working when turned on. Did the range increase? Did it do anything to proved it worked? Also, no drive segment showed the speed. It's no good if it doesn't go highway speeds safely.
5:58 Great viewing angles while the pillars look about twice as thick as most cars before you include the window blocker (splitter).
6:15 Add smaller prod screen size to not being near prod ready.
7:46 "but you DO" is untrue - it's but they promise to. None done yet.
7:58 The PI from Italy does have a steel roll cage, not "kinda like".
8:22 he says "beautiful driving" but Tailosive said it couldn't steer straight.
8:34 A car goes flying past - needs to drive faster to really know how it drives.
8:42 If a 6'3" driver can't see the mirrors, it will take a radical change to get normal drivers to see them in the prod version.
8:58 Add no big sill to not being near prod ready.

[or that it is anything other than what it is] Nor do I, but I say there is a lot of fake stuff about it that intelligent people would not accept. I'm willing to discuss and rate further.
[ - it was built before the collaboration with CPC started.] Again, you are telling me something I have never said anything to the contrary, but I am saying they pretend too much that it is representative of Delta's and they hide all of its flaws. Anything straw man about that? Happy for you to detail, but I'm sure you're fairly incapable.
[So whatever Gamma's faults are, they can't be seen as being representative of the final product.] Once again - that is my point. I am telling people it's not representative of the final product. Thank you for adding weight to my argument. Now let's look for what (after nearly five years) IS representative of the final product? I am happy for you to add anything you think I have missed.
As far as a prototype goes; we have seen an uncrated and partly assembled shell as at April fool's day at Carlsbad. We have not seen anything added to it, although Chris has said in his late April Update mid-May the wiring loom has been added. But then - he is known to lie. Nobody has seen that. That's the result of nearly five years.
As far as production equipment goes; we have seen the CF SMC machines in Italy and the disassembled solar plant in the corner of Carlsbad. They are intending to make solar panels from glass, when the plant used some sort of plastic, so it will need modifying as well as assembling and starting up. Of course, Chris has said it's all coming basically, so even he is not claiming they have anything of worth.
As far as inventory goes; well, there is a pallet rack that is seen to have a few cardboard boxes on - otherwise, nothing is seen and, likewise, Chris promises almost all is to come.
I know you were only discussing prototypes, but I thought I would canvass the entire situation because nothing is representative of Delta. Delta HAS to be made on the production line that will make everyone else's or it's not Delta - that is what Chris said three years ago when they announced their four phases. So if they hand-build any more they are just more representative versions of Gamma. Let me know when you think you see something representative of Delta? Or even supply any logic that a PI qualifies as a Delta in your mind. Happy to discuss. I think I will preserve this on my latest video.

The long haul (#2) is great because it can't go more than 5 miles and had broken down three times already trying that. The longest haul was its trip to Italy on a ship or a plane.

Hard to pick the best one. The first is great because the clowns at Aptera Motors don't have a clue what 'literal' means; they think they have a product to sell; and they think it has a tank. The best it has is a water bottle.

I like the quote, "Automotive Grade Solar Panels". I never heard of that before.
I'm depressed that they didn't throw in a "CPC" as I was ready to take a shot and then had to just say CPC myself and then do it.
I like how they already know it'll be super reliable. They cater to the old crowd that think cars need constant maintenance because of that ICE engine. Yet, they never talk about what actually happens today. It's electrical and other things like leaks and rattles. I guess the Aptera is immune to suspension components wearing out or things like pads and rotors.
Aptera lives in fantasyland when the people that get them think, they will be perfect right off the bat and just scanning a code, it just gets fixed.

@@billsmith5960 My first thinking is they will pull the plug before a single trike is produced for sale on account of it was always the secret plan. However, if they ever thought they could sell one, my next thinking is this will fail miserably as it tries to convince the authorities it is fit for purpose. The testing phase will kill it off for sure.

@@aussieideasman8498 - I know they will get them out there but that will be for much celebration. Just like with Arcimoto, each one they sell will cost them by a large amount (for Arcimoto is cost them 3X to make it as to sell it). The bleeding continues. After that, the idea of being out on the street, means the sales will go through the roof. Yet for Arcimoto (which even has rental centers to experience the FUN) never got the general public on board to actually purchase one.
Now people can't get them serviced and many are bricked because Arcimoto blamed an ice storm and then just shut down for two weeks with no explanation. I guess Eugene, OR had such a bad ice storm, that three weeks of being down, it just the way it is? Leave your customers hanging out there.
This will be the thing that will tell the tale for Aptera. When they start selling them, will they be able to keep up with the service and inevitable problems it will have. Startups will suffer from issues just like seasoned manufacturers do. Aptera is not immune.

I was tempted to do a video on the cretin's new one about transparency, but then thought I would rather take a day out in the sunshine. His self-confessed rant amounted to revealing how unintelligent the whole thing was and if people can't pick up on that, then they won't get value out of me spelling it out. The most probable cause of his video is the debunks I made of the latest Lemming to test drive a Gamma and his claim that the factory was not allowed to be shown or talked about. Well, despite all his other excuses being bunkum, the factory (empty warehouse) issue has no valid reason to not be shown and discussed. If there are any from anyone out there, I am happy to debate my position and welcome their arguments. This claim that it's somehow good business sense or respecting suppliers' wishes is hogwash and the real reason points to just having nothing to hide. Sounds strange, but I mean they have nothing and they want to hide the fact, LoL. I and a few more than two years ago are eagerly waiting for the exact date the first shipment comes from CPC. I believe it's already overdue, according to promises made at the Tesla Takeover, 30th July 2023, nearly 8 months ago.

The newest test driver has responded with this (make what you think of it) -
@ElectrekGarage "Lol!" So glad you think it's funny.
"I hope the people reading my comments realize this guy has no idea what he's talking about!" Some will, but not all. I'm happy to be in the mix and let all decide what they think about us.
"If there is anyone in my comments reading this (who is not this this guy)" Sorry - I'm this guy.
"I'd love to address individual points on this list," You can do it. Keep it all in this thread and public.
"but I recognize going point by point for this guy would be moot." Leave off everything you think is moot. My comments will stand unchallenged, and that's fine by me.
"I am a electrical engineering major with a focus in EV drive systems" People of all careers lie. I have never discovered that your field is full of honest people. If you have the skills, then use them to provide intelligent responses; heading down the moot road is copping out.
"so I'm always happy to answer questions by people who are willing to learn!" Are you willing to let people learn by not blocking everyone who challenges your statements? Are your ethics good enough? As for me, I don't mind you leaving me out of your teaching pool, but I do mind if you're a blocker and leave your readership out of wider information. Too many liars and gutter snakes do that already. It's why I protect my comments. See this on my latest video.

Best video yet. Thanks for your work. All their vids still only show a few small solar panels, none on the rear hatch, less than a couple hundred watts total. I LOVE it! People don't seem to realize that that will not generate enough solar to power an electric fan for an hour. Oh, so much bullshit these cons produce. Yes, they will begin production "soon". As soon as their vacant warehouse magically fills with assembly machines and employees. How is it that they only list assets of $300k dollars and don't actually OWN anything including manufacturing or assembly machines and rent the empty building they call a factory in California? Hmmmmm, seems pretty shady to me. All they can do is show the standard CGI graphics and artist's concept of how their imaginary vehicle will be assembled. I love how they announce their big assembly process and all they can show is a computer screen with magical CGI showing the vehicle assembling itself running on a loop. Piss your pants funny. Thanks for the laugh Scamtera

I did like my moving Quince to one side. For someone who knows jack-all about editing, I worked that out for myself.
When you talk of the solar panels I always wonder how many went into landfill, since they had made them at Vista for many months then discovered they were rubbish. The one on the Gamma nose lasted a couple of weeks. Of course, they won't tell us and there's a good chance they were lying about the rate of production in the first place.
The disciples were sure I was going to think they would produce when the tub was made, but I was even more certain they were playing their following for the f0015 they have always regarded them as. It's not just me who thinks it.
