That VR P10 is exactly the kind of TWS I have been looking for for such a long time now. Bluetooth for normal use, but has a USB dongle for lower latency/higher fidelity and a quick connection with any computer. Logitech used to be working on something similar with their Logitech Zone TWS but they were designed more for video conferencing and there has absolutely been zero news on it for a couple of years now. I wish there were more options for these types of TWS IEMs.
Thank you for the Moondrop Space Travel latency test. I just bought it and I'm really looking forward to getting it delivered. I'm super excited about it!
It's so appreciated that Kenneth keeps on performing persuasive latency test in your review. Would you consider to do more reviews on other 2.4g earbuds such as PRISMXR Vega T1 VR? 🤤
If and when you do try the iPhone latency test, add the Airpods pro to the mix, it'll be interesting to see how it stacks up since it as Apple's secret sauce chip built in haha
Im using 13PM and my buds are VR P10 and airpod pro gen1. Airpod latency I would rate around 70-90ms. However airpod pro with Legion 5 pro, its around 220-230ms. Yea that secret sauce is gold mine and making me wish MacBook M2 runs Windows for gaming.
Always with amazing content. This topic is a very important one in this constantly crescent era of TWS! I also can not wait for the discussion you have about sound latency on iOS (I am clueless to it)
Thank you so much for the support! It’s my pleasure to bring some light to the topic, and will definitely work on the iOS version in the near future! 😁
Just watched the video that explains how he tests, and it is wrong, he is not taking into account the touch latency, hi is taking the screen latency and the in-game fps into the counting. This give very inconsistent results, especially when you change phones, game location and everything that effects game fps.
If the moondrop space travel had splash resistance, it wouldve been a no brainer for me, so i think might consider the soundpeats engine 4 coz i like listening to music in the shower
To be honest I don’t recommend taking anything less then IPX6 or IPX7 into the shower, so not the Engine4 could even do it One thing that came to mind is the Earfun Free Mini if you wanna take it to shower
Long time no see right! 🤣 I believed that would be the case so that’s great to hear from your side, I’m super excited to see how iOS devices performs haha
Thank you for this! You always give good reviews. Honest but not offensive. Please do a review on best earbuds for sleeping specially with side sleepers like me. 😊
I am really enjoying to watch your vidoes. They are very informative and helpful! May I REQUEST if you can compare the soundpeats life classic and life lite. Thank you!
FYI most reviewers only say about the latency you guys need to add (soundstage and imaging )the Space Travel if your a FPS gamer the Imaging of this is bad (ability to hear accurately where footsteps are coming from) watch out for COD Apex players not for your
Hi, what tws do you can recommend for every day for music with good mic and noise cancelling but with low latency for gaming? Im use now realmi 5 air buds, all fine but one thing i hated, 300mc delay with game mode in pubgm😮😮
i have this exact same phone and it doesn't have this much latency. When Dolby Atmos is on the delay is very obvious, i recommend you retest with Dolby Atmos off
That's interesting, I guess the phone speaker gets the lag from all the DSP to make modern phone speakers sound so good (compared to what they used to be like) I notice on my OPPO phone Dirac Real HD is always on for speaker.
I know right! After this I'll try to test more and more phones to see how it pans out, but even in my POCO here the Dolby Atmos feature is turned off, so yeah, curious 🤔
Im looking for a pair of good earphone, cant decide between moondrop space travel or samsung galaxy buds live the bean one. Which would you prefer soundwise? And great video as always. My go to reviewer on tws 👌
Thanks fot your videos! So whitch one buds around 50€ are best for gaming? I mean lowest latency time? Moondrops space travel? I have redmi buds 5 pro global. Whitch one buds should i buy for lowest latency? Thanks
Hi Kenneth! Do you have a review for Rock Space Sound ear cuffs TWS? I can’t find any review online. Hope you can help! 😊 PS: I bought 1More comfobuds because of your review! 😁
There is one more thing imho. If you do not have acute reflex and senses, all those minimal latency TWS gonna be wasted. I do not know how SBC work overal, but if my guess that SBC codec transmit signal as fast as it could is true, then there is possibility that there might be loss of sound cue because of skewed HRTF. And this in my opinion more important than 100+ ms latency. Cmiiw.
Just watched the video that explains how you test, and it is wrong, you are not taking into account the touch latency, you're taking the screen latency and the in-game fps into the counting. If you consider only the sound quality which one you prefer between oppo enco x2 and souncore luberty 4nc . What is the marks you can give for sound quality for each of these out of 10
Is Blackshark T6 a good tws for gaming? Or it does not compare to these tws you reviewed. I recently played moba with discord together with friends. And so far my good ol' Lenovo XT80s is not great with the latency and microphone.
When you play a game for example, and then you press on something, then the sound comes out late compared to what you see, that is audio latency and it could be a problem
It will work like a normal bluetooth buds, but be mindful that sometimes signal could be an issue because in your TV (where the switch is docked) there usually is a lot of radio interference (i.e. wifi router, wireless speakers, etc)
Haha to be honest I have account on both (or heck even YT music cause why not) but I've been using Apple Music for the longest time because I like how it presents my music library, it's a very personal thing tho Although lately I found that Spotify sounded worse (compared it with YT music at the time) and it doesn't even have to do with expensive gears and whatnot, we noticed it in a car audio, so that's also one point where AM wins with it's lossless files
hi im planning to buy tws but dont really know if i should go buy better or higher bluetooth codec like aptx something because i have SBC and tried my friends tws that have aptx but it seems same for me in terms of quality only that difference it the sound signature or quality that comes out fromt the tws itself. i listen through youtube and spotify will it release the full potential of the aptx? and where should i listened song to get most out of it like hifi on the tws?
I'm using the Moondrop Space Travel while listening to this video, and the results speak for themselves. Even without gaming mode on, the latency is already fairly low. If the 4-hour battery life is not a big issue for you, then GET THIS. Period.
Would you expect the same latency numbers on a Nintendo Switch? Or does it have specific hardware/codec limitations that would change which ones you'd recommend for that use? Thanks for this video, Kenneth!
nintendo switch uses SBC codec so i would imagine for something like the moondrop it should be pretty closely to the same as shown. LOL funny enough im here for the same idea. I will say ive done wayyy too much research and there are three HUGELY close contenders for the switch tws on a budget : black shark , tozo g1 , or moondrop space travel.. black shark having the lowest latency then tozo then moondrop but keep in mind these are all " up to X ms " like show here moondrop is not hitting the 55s but they are also the only company who HONESTLY explains " up to " and " 55ms is the delay on the chipset " .. so because of there honesty & his video proof provided above.. I think im going to pull the trigger on moondrop. To be fair i own moondrop KATO so i may be biased to moon drop ( worst case you can return remember ! ) .. tldr switch uses SBC codec , moon drop seems to be the best budget choice, you can always return. hope this helped since i see you got no reply.
It would be interesting to see performance in audio applications and especially on IOS. Bluetooth is usually too laggy for recording guitars etc etc and you must use wired headphones or speakers. Even then you usually prefer an audio interface with direct monitoring to get decent synch.
ahhhh... you tricked me kennn why you do that? not telling us that space travel has a good gaming mode well... anyway, it was not on sale i'll let you pass this one i'm gonna get them on the next big sale thanks man
