_*billionaires_ And there is a solution to first one, it's called PARLIAMENT republic. Trust me, as an eastern european from former USSR country, presidency *isn't* a good idea in general. At all. Ever.
So regarding the driveway thing: It's miniscule until everyone does it, and unlike watering your plants, it doesn't go into the ground so much as it just evaporates. Also it's entirely unnecessary, you don't need a scrub-washed driveway, but you Do need agriculture to keep going because... you know... food. Man cannot survive on eating ass alone.
*I did the experimentation for the Solar/wind/hybrid, and made a comparison of each.* As silly as the hybrid is, it is generally the best of the three. Solar Panels produce 75 units between 6am-6pm. 2x3 plot for $2000. Average generation: 37.5. Turbines produce 75 units at all times. 3x2 plot for $2000. Average generation: 75. (basically direct upgrade to solar, if weather is enabled, there may be times it may produce less?). Hybrids produce 250 units between 6am-6pm, and 100 units at all other times. (essentially a 100 unit wind plus a 150 unit solar.) 3x3 plot for $5000. Average generation: 175. The Hybrids produce *vastly* more power per area, and have almost the same placement price efficiency per power output as pure wind turbines. Specifically: Wind turbines give about 7% more power per initial cost, but this is typically not worth the extra area usage as Hybrids give 55% more power per area usage. (and larger area usage requires placement of more infrastructure.) Please let me know if there are any corrections to this.

5:40 Same here in Southern California. Was fun being told there was a drought and then thinking nothing has really changed. Sometimes I wonder how different Australia’s climate is from here.
Fun fact: The Millennium Drought effectively started 5 years earlier in Queensland. From '91 to 2011. By the time La Nina finally broke the drought, we had spent a full TWO DECADES in drought - just about every dam in the entire state was near-dry by that time, everywhere from out in the desert all the way to the tropical rainforest of the top end.
ah yes the drought it's been around since i can remember too, I also remember arguing with adults that when we did get rain it was gonna flood.. They said I was wrong and didn't know what I was talking about. Then roughly 70% of my state went underwater, who's wrong now.
@@troysdownfall6547 the shortest answer is long periods of dry weather make it hard for soil to absorb water when it does rain. Add to that alot of flat ground from farming and water ways that haven't seen water in years and you've a great combination for flooding when it does rain long enough to break a drought.
@@troysdownfall6547 Dry soil gets hardpacked for a number of reasons which makes it less permeable to water. Without roots and water and such, there's nothing to keep it from compressing into a block of bone dry clay that water can't permeate.

Part of the agricultural part of that chart. Not all of it. Minor difference but worth noting. Also, food is kinda important qnd stopping farms to maintain water creates q different drought.
I'm honestly in the same boat about the drought thing, although texas doesn't care if you water your driveway or not. it is bizarre the amount of rain we get in texas if we ain't in a drought

I think this DLC would pair great with playing Saphara Acknova - after all, if you don't pay too much attention to your prisoners growing drugs and making hooch, you can instead confiscate and sell the grown drugs and hooch for a profit and dock their wages - to just be the absolute worst when it comes to the use of basically uncompensated, practically forced prison labor.
