Darkness Blanket Video Tutorial

To complete this project, you will need Worsted Weight Yarn [4] and a 5.50 mm (I) crochet hook. My written pattern comes with instructions to create this blanket in 6 different sizes. My premium pattern includes the written instructions plus the stitch diagram.
This blanket is made using a stitch multiple of 4 stitches. Chain to the width blanket you want, make sure the number of chains you have can be divided by 4 and then begin then you are ready to crochet!
I am using KnitPal Cotton to the Core Worsted Weight yarn and a 5.5 mm (I) Clover Amour crochet hook for my project.

This is such a beautiful piece. I need some serious HELP, anybody? Please help. I have completed the blanket except the edging. I’m confused where she says “do not join.” Why? It leaves the that corner open and I don’t know what to do after that. Please help, please?
