About those wicked and powerful pauses in the song: this is about addiction being the boss. Being the one that sets the rules for you. The addiction is speaking to you & it's telling you, " I'm your boss. I am everything. And * I'm* the one that's making the rules here." So when you hit that pause and it seems so abrupt, palpable and powerful- that is the addiction stopping everything. And saying "I'm the one who makes the rules here. Don't forget it. We go when *I* say go. And this is your reminder." Those pauses are perfect for this song.

And BIG thank you! I forgot how much I loved this song and even my mother was just asking about the new baby! You are all always in our prayers. Love you guys ❤❤
Bro I lost it at the introoo. Sounding like a true Metallica fan, babyyyyyyyy
Another great one by the best metal band on the planet!
❤❤❤ This One Great ! You guys actually listened ! ❤🔥🔥🔥🔥
These young men need to go to a Metallica concert!!
Love watching you guys really getting into Metallica. You guys are doing great deciphering meanings.
And yes, you guys need to see them live. If you go, I promise you will have a great time! Metallica fans are the greatest!!!
Great job Gentlemen becoming my favorite Metallica channel👏🏼 This whole album’s great can’t go wrong with any track but “Wherever I may roam” and “Through the never” are a must..keep up the good work👍🏼
About those wicked and powerful pauses in the song: this is about addiction being the boss.
I just saw you guys reacting to Metallicas sad but true. Along the same meaning is a song called Bleeding Me. Absolutely is one of their best songs. Most people dismiss the album it came from, and I like all the old stuff but I think this is a must. I never see anyone react to Bleeding Me. The guitar solo made me drive 100 mph down 35W. I hope you guys listen to it. Also I love seeing how you all talk to each other. Reminds me of all my friends.
You guys are the BEST. Reactions are second to NONE!!!!
Man, this whole album is 🔥🔥🔥
There are five of you, two guitars, bass, drums & a vocalist and you have yourself a kicking band.
Kid Rock Sampled this riff for his song 'American Badass' which was used as 'The Undertaker' theme tune for a while in WWE.
This is my fave metallica song of all time. Just saw them live in Detroit. So sick!
Gotta do “the thing that should not be live 1989” by Metallica
Yes!!
One of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE songs 🎵 ❤️
Metallica's a band that got me into guitar growing up. Def pick up a guitar. You won't regret it.
Me too!!!!!
Me2 bro
🤘
Tengo 38 años y recuerdo cuando mi hermano los tenia en cassete 📼 y me enganchó con este Black Álbum. 🤟🇪🇸🤟🇪🇸
I think we are all in for this one
Battery Seattle 1989
Ps. That was the last song of the night so pay attention to the energy.
Much love and respect to you guys
Studio first then live.. it will just sound like noise to them.
YO I see you listening to a lot of METALLICA, but.... ya'll gotta react to EVEN MORE!!! i cant get enough! They are the best metal band in existence! :) keep on keep'in on
Metallica is the modern day Led Zeppelin. This band is truly LEGENDARY!!!!! The hits and longevity speak volumes!!!!!! To be around and relevant for 45 plus years, I challenge any other band to measure up to that.
I love how you guys react to my favorite band. I first hear these guys when I was 14 back in 1985 and they instantly became my favorite band. I've seen them 7 times in concert and it has always been great! You guys you go see them. They are one of the best bands ever live. They won't disappoint!
You guys are killing it with Metallica and the breakdown.... Please do their 2016 album and the song called "Spit out the Bone".
Been waiting for this one !!! Now you're getting HEAVY !!!
You should check out the opening track from their second album, called Fight Fire With Fire, about nuclear war. Or the title track Ride The Lightning, about a man about to die in the electric chair. Both bangers.
you guys are AWESOME!!! love watching your reaction to Metallica's music!!! it reminds me of myself whenever I first heard them walking to the school bus stop on my imitation walkman!! yeah, cassette, I'm old!!!!!
Don't skip some of the old Metallica songs that you missed guys. The Four Horsemen is one of the best metal songs of all time. Check it out.
They already did .
@@symptomoftheuniverse4149 Not when this comment was left. You're late.
@@blitz3643 Yes, sir.
You guys are the best..on a bad dY I dial up yer reactions and enjoy the shit outta them..thank you from an old Marine who loves rock and roll..God bless
You should check out, “Spit Out The Bone”. It’s off their 2016 album and FULL of energy throughout the entire song. Also a GREAT song to work out to with insane instrumentals
I've seen Metallica live four times and they never cease to amaze. I love you guys you're too funny 🤣😂
I used to like this album but I wouldn’t be too sad if I never heard it again. The 80’s Metallica is ageless
You all need to react Where ever i may roam of the black album. The drumming is insane in that song. And one my all time favourite Metalica song. HEAVY BEATS.
My brother and I paid $1300 a piece for tickets in the snake pit in Arlington. No way in hell I would pay that for any other band in the world. That's how influential this band has been to me as a drummer and a bass player.
I went to several Snake pit shows, never paid that much, I could reach out and touch them.
One of the best from Metallica. This one makes me go crazy.🤪😍
U must watch the video from them "Wherever I May Roam" 🤘🏼🎸🎼🎧🥁
Correct!
METALLICA - SPIT OUT THE BONE. That song will melt your face off!
They need to watch no leaf clover Metallica and San Francisco symphony 1999!! Absolutely amazing!!!!
Absolutely agree! I’ve mentioned it several times. That one and Hero Of the Day, and Bleeding Me…hell just watch the whole damn show.
Welcome welcome welcome to a different world of music!!! SOOO much for you to discover!!! I was around when this hit the air waves. OMG! We didn't know what we had just heard but we knew it was EPIC!!!
Just watching you guys sitting there nodding your heads to the riff made my day.
somebody buy these dudes metallica concert tickets.
The whole “Black” album is a masterpiece!
Its so good seeing you guys listening to heavy metal music and not just enjoying listening to it but trying to understand the lyrics.
Metallica is a band of legends! This one is decent you should try Don’t Tread on Me, Frantic, Of Wolf and Men, The Thing That Should Not Be, And Justice For All!
Every song on the black album is killer. So cool seeing you guys cover all Metallica songs. Keep the vids coming!
My favorite thing about Metallica is that the singer is also an elite tier guitarist in his own right.
I love when people listen to my favorite band of all time, for the first time, and they vibe with it. 🤘
Great reaction video guys. I appreciate you guys delving into the lyrics. I’ve been aware of the lyrics but I haven’t really thought about them so appreciate you delving into how deep they are. 11:10- Master of Puppets is a great song. I hope to see you all react more Metallica or other metal videos
Metallica is so good. How can you not be a fan🤟
0:01 That's how I feel about them.
