What I'm saying is that he has *no* interest in diplomacy. He's an authoritarian narcissist who wants war. His cabinet nominees are invested in gas, oil, munitions, and junk securities. And there's so much more about his thinking that's frightening.
We're working (again) to amend the Constitution to make the office of president be determined by direct vote - one person, one vote - rather than using the Electoral College. It's been tried before, but I think we have enough people now to make sure something like this never happens again. George W. Bush lost the popular vote, too, and that got us the Iraq invasion only 15 years ago. Now this asshole. No more.

For all the people who wondering why the german flag is upside down I think happened for some reason. In history this flag was also used in the year 1832 as a part of a revolutionary movement named "Hambacher Fest". They demonstrated for national unity, rights of liberty and civil rights. It stands as the birth hour for fundamental rights and human rights at german ground. So maybe here it should symbolise that we should save our hard fought rights and should be more united, especially in the EU.

Many of my fellow Lithuania Americans born in the US as I was, might not realize that if your parents or grandparents were born in Lithuania and left during certain times, you are eligible for Lithuanian citizenship. I learned this when I visited my father's hometown of Kaunas a few years ago. Might come in handy... :) Great video.
If you think Lithuanian citizenship might come in handy, you obviously haven't been in Lithuania very long... There is a reason we lost about a million people in LT during the last 20 years due to emigration. I don't know what nonsense your relative told you, but it was very un-Lithuanian of them to fail to inform you about how shitty our country is.
Yeah, there is one thing though, they don't allow dual citizenship yet
The good part is that people like this Fankas2000 character are primarily the ones leaving. Ever since the 'emigration crisis' started, by now crime per capita has dropped around 300% in all categories, and it's becoming one of the safest places in Europe, wages continue to rise nice and steady as do living conditions(though it would happen faster if the labor force was larger in needed positions, of course). The funny thing is, when foreigners come here (in many cases now to live, as people whose families originally emigrated during world wars to places like South American countries are now able to gain Lithuanian citizenship) - they are stunned that people leave this place. They get much bigger wages, cleaner cities, smaller crime rates, etc. The unfortunate thing about SOME Lithuanians is they tend to be the biggest negative-nancy complainers you've ever seen. They'll take a small, select list of the most successful countries out of those that never had to endure communism(the Lithuanian economy is less than 30 years old!) and were able to freely grow their economy for many years like the UK, Scandinavian countries, USA, Germany for comparison and essentially say: -"Why aren't we getting wages like that?! Our politicians are probably stealing everything, that's why! Wow, this place is terrible!" Look at statistics of social programs, education, wages, wage to price ratio by country and see where Lithuania ranks.
Imagine if the people of every country that doesn't make that very small cherry-picked list felt that way... For this, I argue, it's a cultural issue more than anything.
I'll like that Lithuania is playing save. and say 'America first, Lithuania third.'
