Their coat of arms is a bit more sophisticated than ours (but it's the same flag, essentially), their highest peak Triglav is a couple of meters higher than our Gerlach, they inherited a tiny bit of sea shore where one can go swim and sunbath, while we only inherited a tiny bit of border with Ukraine where one can only go buy smuggled cigarettes of inferior quality; Slovenia beat us in GDP per capita, they already managed to connect their capital with their second largest city by highway, which is something Slovak authorities are struggling with (and presumably capitalizing on) throughout the whole country's independent existence, and Slavoj Žižek is capable of finding even more sophisticated parallels everywhere, than I am!

I've visited Slovenia only 3 times in my life: The first time i visited Postojna and it's cave AND castle, then i visited the Saint Canziano's caves in Divača. The second time only the Postojna caves because there was a very important christmas event in there. The third time i visited Ljubljana and there i got two dragon plushies... and the hotel i was in was a prison once. If i ever decided to visit Slovenia again, i'll visit Caporetto.
