    ------------------------------------
    This video shows the sewing procedure for the MBenz armrest cover.
    We would realize it was done two main machine-sewings: one 'blind closing stitching' to attach the two pieces and the other with a thicker thread on top along the frontal part as a decorative stitching (double stitches/french seams).
    We also did a 'closing sewing in the hidden back area of the armrests (a combination of sewing-machine lock stitches and a hand sewing thread lacing through the stitches to get the edges very close and attached)
    I hope you find it useful!
    Cesar

    Как много труда, даже с такой небольшой деталью. Огромное уважение.

    Whoever is operating the camera they are very smooth and unobtrusive and always seem to be in the right place. I watched two videos before I even realized someone was operating the camera - I thought I was there!

      Hello Baldwin, I'm doing fine my friend; just a little busy, getting ready the first course related to steering-wheels that would teach how to wrap a wheel from 'zero' in one piece, one junction.
      These videos(a main one and three auxilaries)would be for sale in a new website. The method I'm using is very easy and practical.
      If these first videos would succeed, then, I'll be releasing a second package that would teach to leather cover the wheels in two, three and four pieces of leather. An so on, with a more advanced third video course that would teach how to get molds, wrap plastic trims and imprint logos.

    Ok you have all the cool tools. Where do I get that stapler and the stapler puller!??😀🍷👍👍 great job. O ya and what kind of glue is that? Love to watch your videos if you haven't noticed

      +Tiffany Berg This stapler design is more handy to baste seams...I bought it at Home Depot. The pincers are simply some kind of tip pliers...I bought it in a junkyard...think are surgical.
      Thanks for watching my videos! ...I use a yellow glue which comes in cans or bottles...check these links if you are in USA :

      I think that before applying one of these products do a test beforehand.

    Can a regular machine work for vinyl and if so what extra equipment do I need to get for it? Thanks

    • @Cechaflo
      @Cechaflo  5 лет назад

      You can do it with a regular sewing machine. A thicker needle (110= 18) and a new 'needle plate' and bigger teeth 'feed dog'.

    Amazing work Cechaflo. One question, when your doing this kind of work, do you make the leather for both the left and right side arm rest to save time?

    • @Cechaflo
      @Cechaflo  8 лет назад

      +chris diaz You're right; Chris! ...the 'vinyl mold' is the same for both armrests.

    • @Cechaflo
      @Cechaflo  8 лет назад

      +Jesse Gaspar I use the standard thin thread (number 8) to close the seams and a thicker thread (number zero) for the double stitching on top view.
