One thing about Sword and Shield no one can deny is the killer soundtrack, especially with battles.

They had to put the effort somewhere. If not the graphics, story, or Pokémon models, they might as well make the music slap.

quite a few rivals have character development, blue has character development between red and blue and gold and silver, SILVER HAS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, Barry has some, i dont remember gen 5 much but im pretty sure bianca had development, we dont talk about x and y rivals, hop obviously, and arven and penny

The Pokémon Company definitely made the right decision with hiring Toby Fox for this game.
The only song he worked on for this game was the Battle Tower theme.
this song was done by go ichinose, who has been with the company since the late 90s
@@LaunchpadVGM I'm thinking of commissioning you to make a battle remix of Doridori, and this theme may be one of my references.
In sword and shield he only worked on the battle tower theme, while in scarlet and violet he worked on a few, it’s not been confirmed what ones he actually worked on but I think they said he helped with the area zero theme
In scvi, he made the ai professor battle theme, composed the area zero theme (arranged by someone else), made the tera raid theme, and came up with the main academy leitmotif.
