Very nice work with the decals. I think I do a fairly good job with decals, but I have never built a kit that required as many decals as your build. Thanks for sharing.
@@ScaleModelExperiment lol. I’m not saying that I didn’t ever throw the kit decals in the trash and by Slixx decals or some other quality decals but I will tell you I did the M&Ms NASCAR that I did use the kit decals. If you know that car the decals wrapped over and around every body curve of the car and I persevered and made the kit decals work. Just as with anything it’s taking your time and a huge amount of patience.
You did make that look easy. But it also helps when you have a great set of decals! I've done some heavily decaled NASCARs where the decals were absolute crap
That is an amazing job! Have you been trying to use any of the techniques from the video of your Asian buddy? That was an interesting video. Im trying to adopt some of those methods from his video.
Yes, I try not to use any solutions with decals any more and rely on heat to mold the decals into place. This video was just for fun to show the journey.
@@ScaleModelExperiment yeah I got ya. 🙂 I liked this video, showing how many decals you had to put on. I never realized how many went into some of these kits! This was pretty cool to watch!
Grazie e a presto ☺️
You make it look easy James. It's like putting a puzzle together.😃
That’s exactly how I see it as well. Just a complicated puzzle.👍
Lookin good James!
Thanks so much Billy😁
Nicely done!
Thank you very much DVDW👍

Thank you Carl👍
All I can say James is WOW!!!! 👏 Never ever could I do that...
LLAP 🖖
Hi Bruce, I’ve been doing these cars for a couple years. They aren’t easy but with a quality decal it makes it easier. Thanks for watching👍
Fun video!!! Very Cool livery!!!!! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching Mike, this video was just for fun!
My years of doing NASCAR models made me really great at doing decals.
You’re better than I am then, the decals I was using were top notch quality. The ones you used were most likely 💩. Thanks for watching Patrick👍

Thank you Fordman👍
Wow she looks awesome
Thank you Travis👍
Those louver decals would probably make me permanently cross eyed. lol
The video was at 250% speed so you can only imagine how long they took to not only apply but smooth out😁
Ho-Lee-Hell that is a lot of decals! 😮
You should try one someday Spencer, you’ll learn a lot 👍

That’s the truth! The decals I was using were of top quality. Thanks for watching 👍
Oooh decals, I love decals, doing a BMW Z4 h Goodsmile myself at the moment, take care
Me too! As long as they are quality decals👍. Thanks for watching Sarah-Jane
I'd love to one of these, it looks great! Aoshima has a mobile catering series with loads of decals (I made the takoyaki truck) Very fun
I’ve eyed those Kei food trucks many times. I may buy the one with the fish on top 🤪. Thanks for watching 👍
Very nice work. That's just too many decals for me, I'd mess something up with my shaky hands.
Hi Larry, thanks for watching👍 I’ve been doing these full decal cars for a couple years now. They aren’t easy.
Very well done 👍
Was the body painted?
Yes, it’s a resin kit. I painted it with a thin layer of Mr Color Black surfaced and then 2 light coats of gloss black before decals.

Beautiful model! You've got this from Japan?
Thank you. Actually from China. PZY Kitbox is the name of the company that makes the kit.
@@ScaleModelExperiment thanks 🙏

The 2008 car I painted in metallic black. The 2009 I painted black. They are both great kits👍

@giuseppetestoni692 you’re welcome! Yes I can answer your questions on assembly when you get started with it👍
@@ScaleModelExperiment Grazie mille per la tua disponibilità, continuerò a seguirti sul tuo canale. Cordiali saluti Giuseppe
Are you going to clear it?
Already did, that was the last picture👍
@@ScaleModelExperiment Ahh ok. Didnt see the spray. I get it. In the remedial group. Fantastic job! TY
That's a lot of work but that's Y not everyone can do it
Hi Lyle, we as modelers can do some amazing things. Most people just don’t understand why it takes so long to make one. Thanks for watching 👍
