I am a police officer who works nights on street patrol in a busy city. I carry several types of lights while on duty. Good lights are absolutely crucial to working at night. I have always been impressed with Nitecore and their lights. Powerful lights like this are exactly what is needed on events like auto crashes, traffic stops or search’s of areas. This would be an ideal tool that is compact, easy to carry for long periods of time, and powerful.
Hey we crossed 600 likes and you're the giveaway winner! Please screenshot this comment and email it to *_hello@_**_nitecorelights.com_* and my team will handle the rest. Remember we will never ask you to pay for anything. Cheers!
I’m a firefighter and this would help me on emergency calls. Either search and rescue or looking for down wires and everything in between. A good flashlight is essential in this line of work.
@Mr Green I already have a nice light for my helmet but it’s more for close illumination. Great for extrications but not covering areas for wires or searching etc.
This is awesome! I work from home and my friends and I have established a Prepper Club during the pandemic. We believe that because of lockdowns accompanied by the usual disasters + emergency situations, we should make sure that we're all prepared. This being said, security is a top priority in our community so the TM9K Tac would be a great lighting solution. I love nitecore and I already have the NU25 and LR12 so this would be a great addition to my bag.
Just purchased a 20ix but always wanted to have this one as well for late night security work. Nightcore products are awesome and your reviews are spot on. Thanks for what you do!
I work in Events/Event Production, with my work carry being comprised of tactical lights for quick access. Up until now I've carried lights with a longer throw. However, I've learned from your series of Nitecore lights, a floody light like the P10ix or this TM9K may be more of what I need since most of my work spans a large, close-medium range, area. If I'm doing events in the evening or working indoors where I need to survey cables, dark cargo/inventory areas, or command the attention of a crowd of attendees-- something like the TM9k or even P10ix/20ix may actually benefit me more than a light with a lot of throw.
Lights are one of the most powerful self defense items you can carry, not to mention useful utility wise. The great flood beam almost works like a shotgun to ensure your target it hit.
This would be great, not just work but for a great sense of security. When traveling and you are limited on what you can bring. You are great at explaining every detail. Keep up the great videos.
got my p20i since i saw your video , its with me EVERYDAY . Most of the time i'm working solo , i need to send stock to difference shop during 3am - 7am , by that time im solo on the street too , as a Malaysian , our safety level is not that high ... i keep my p20i in my pocket everyday just in case someone try to attack me or something . Luckily i'm safe until now , but TM9K will be a very huge upgrade if i need to deal with more then 1 person !
Will the warranty cover the battery replacement for TM9K, because all batteries will lose capacity over time, and what is the estimated cost for "Out of Warranty" battery replacement?
I live in a rural and flood prone area in the Philippines. This powerful flash light is durable and efficient in those emergency situation during flood at night.
The giveaway is over but I wanted to add my 2 cents on this. I work as a correctional officer in WA state. The only defensive stuff we are allowed to carry is OC and flashlights. I cherish my light over th3m all. It is my best most useful tool. Not only for searching and observing but also for self defense! I LOVE your lights the most especially the models with the tactical tail switch.
As a night time fuel truck driver, unloading in some sketchy neighborhoods in Albuquerque, this light would be great for those times when I get approached by individuals that often surprise me out of the shadows.
Working as a project engineer overnight on a huge rail job down in Texas!! We are working in the middle of nowhere so all work overnight requires up to 50 light plants.
Bought this light after watching your review, it's full of great info, thanks. TM9K works well. The first time you press tailcap after being off for a while, it takes what feels like a second to wake up and turn on. Once you've turned it off and on it's similar to a tk12 or a tk16 for tail cap speed. Something to keep in mind if you need instant on, I assume it's to prevent battery drain when not in use.
Yeah that’s something I noticed. I was wondering if I had a defective one. But yeah when I havent used it in a while the first click takes about half a second, the rest of the clicks are instant.
I use a Coast 650r. And I use it at my house for at night to feed animals at the night and I also use it for fishing.i would like to use the the Nitecore tm9k . Keep up the great videos
I'm a tile specialist Installer, I'm currently using the discontinue IRP 4000 Nitecore, I use high power light for cracks detection. It's my everyday carry.
I will definitely use this in remote area's when we have train derailment to illuminate a wide area as we setup rigging equipment and perform safety checkd.
Very nice presentation. I work in the heart of Los Angeles where I need to walk to my parking spot late at night. This would allow me a peace of mind till I get to my car and drive away to go home
Love your videos. Very informative and detailed. Current work may sometimes require to be deployed at night where it can be quite rowdy. Definitely a big step up from lumintop tool AA 2.0
I live in a city and walk a few miles every night. Some areas are seriously dark while others have lighting which diminishes the effectiveness of a hand held light. This would be great to not only blind a perp or perps in both lighting conditions but also in identifying the target and weapons they may have. 👍🏻
I do walk a few km every night. This light would provide me with the perfect flood angle. Compared to a narrow beam light I currently use. I like your videos for their high level of information, and the clarity of your statements, while describing the various features of the Nitcore products.
Great information and examples. I am a Maintenance supervisor for a school and find myself constantly needing a light to finish my jobs. Non work uses would include the following: field scanning for coyotes and Bobcats and nightly use for checking on livestock. Also would be great for our car because we live 180 miles from the nearest hospital and Walmart.
Nice flashlight, great review. I'm a night watch for my neighborhood (my patrol environment including street houses, soccer field and school complex). I have been carrying nitecore tip for about 4 years for my rounds, good flashlight, but the switch is failing me now, the tm9k tac would be a huge leap of performance. Great content, keep up the good work..
I always love the design and capqbilities of the TM9K..this would be great when responding to an emergency as a Fire Responder volunteer hope to win this Beast
Hi I am a law enforcement officer attached to specialised unit in Trinidad and Tobago we perform several functions inclusive search and rescue, narcotic interdiction and other operations.I environments I work in are both urban and rural, and a flood light of this caliber would be useful in both tactical and search and rescue operations. The particularly appreciate the waterproof feature and the tactical ring that can be useful in securing the flashlight during hand to hand combat.I also like the fact it can be charged fully in 3 hrs.btw I enjoyed the presentation and the indepth beam shots.
hi I work as a security guard and as a doorman at a nightclub. I am currently using nitecore p20 v2. but could use some more power / light both as guard work but also at the nightclub as there is a lot of trouble and fights. so could well use the trick you talked about blending an opponent with the flashlight.
This would be a beast to use compared to the i4000r which is already legendary. Being a combat medic, it is crucial to see the surrounding especially outfield when a "man down" happens. This will allow me to assess the environment and spot casualties easily.
As a firefighter a good light is essential. This light would be perfect for search and getting attention in any lighting level. Not just at night. This may just be my new every situation light.
I live in a rural area where we have a small farm consisting of few different types of domestic animals. I help my uncle repairing barns, coop for hen and sheep pen, all close-up. And we count our sheep and chicken again in close distance, and carry hay bales for them evening and night, and we do that using a higher intensity long distance flashlight. Nitecore TM9K TAC would definitely compete against it with it's floody beam and high lumen output, helping us doing all that work in our farm.
this is very useful in checkpoints during lockdowns. since some vehicles dont tend to slow down in barricades even when its lighted. also we cant see them inside there tinted windows.
I work in the mining industry. So the equipment that I operate are a few stories tall. So it would help to have a super bright flash light to do my walk around inspections when working night shift!
how long is the lifespan of the built in battery, if there is damage to the battery can it be repaired...and how the good way to care for the built in battery..tq
Man you've put together an outstanding and very informative presentation...well done. This light would be extremely useful in my line of work as a Law Enforcement Officer. I work in a rural county with a lot of open space. This light would help illuminating scenes and even useful during wide area searches. The compact size of the TM9K TAC makes it an awesome package. Keep the great content coming...🤘🚔🔦👏
I stay in a very rural area and this would be awesome to use while walking my dog's and also for safety with my EDC while in the city area on late nights..👍🏼
I really feel his comment about the switch positioning. I have the Noctigon KR4 when I really want was the d4v2 style. After using it for years now I have the D4k. There are really times that the tail switch is much better than the side switch.
NO. He means the battery is no longer functional. 9800 lumens puts a lot of stress on the battery and it is going be degraded soon and you can't do anything but tear it apart and pray that you can somehow manage to replace the battery. And the fact that this light has only 2 years of warranty, not 5 years like other Nitecore flashlights. They knew this will happen.
Great video. Thanks for providing the outside demonstration in an urban setting definitely helped. This product would be awesome for police work.. and the fact you can get the red cone accessory for traffic directing, i am sold. Thanks again man!
I would love to see what holsters you guys use for this Flashlight, I currently just bought mine to replace my 5 year old LedLenser P7R. Also, I like the capability of zooming your beam in and out. But only the P7R Signature has this capability but it seems like Old tech. Are there any other lights that has this feature?
Nice and Clear explanation , although i already had few Nitecore , i still like to view all the new Nitecore products info that you provide. really like the night time test , hope it can a bit longer , it's make us easy to understand how good is the light , can add some subtitle on the test mode

Terrific content. Like how you thought of good examples of scenarios for why you might want 8k lumens...even in short 2-3 second bursts for not more thn 10 seconds at a time. You should setup a "store" on Amazon Canada's wetsite...Odd not all Nitecore lights are coming from Nitecore Canada even when ordered through Aamazon.
Amazing video as usual. I would definitely use it during site inspection especially when going in valve chambers. Would definitely help as usually they'd only have those handphone flashlight but with this it can light up for literally everyone.
Technically you can, but the flood beam won’t be of much use on a long range rifle, and because the tailcap can’t be removed you can’t attach a remote switch
I do a lot of night walk, this can light up wider area with longer battery life at lower setting without heating up. Especially the instant turbo access can give me a piece of mind in the dark situation (crime rate is rising)
Can you publish a procedure to replace the internal battery? Basically, in a fully equipped repair lab, what are the type of tools required, the disassembly sequence, if there is thread locker glue, and the type of cell to use, etc. I'm asking because after two years of use, the internal battery has degraded and the flashlight has lost about 20% of the original luminous flux. Sending the light to your factory, when I include shipping insurance, would cost me half of the price of a new TM9k. So I got an email with an offer for this light plus a "free" p30 throw light for almost $350, $50 of shipping included in that price. How is this a deal? When I buy both separately and apply the 15% coupon I can get the same light tm9k plus the upgraded p30i for $254! Are the emails a scam or am I missing something????

Lol hahaha
Give it to this guy!! I'm not even trying to win because that was the best! 😂🤣😂
Street Pharmacist: AKA Drug Dealer! 😂
This guy explains things the best I have ever seen for reviews. Don’t change him.

I live in a rural and flood prone area in the Philippines. This powerful flash light is durable and efficient in those emergency situation during flood at night.
It will help in to actually set up a small ceremony in a ground near my house. Its strikingly bright.
i’m from the philippines and i’m a big fan of Nitecore😊 the best flaslights in the world!!!

I wish we had tech lights when I worked as a corrections officer in 1970.
Stay safe brother.
Nitecore. Nothing to say. Always never fail to impress me and my crew. Always help me and my crew for our night hiking ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great review and easy to understand. I bought one of these lights. Can’t wait to try it!
I will definitely use this in remote area's when we have train derailment to illuminate a wide area as we setup rigging equipment and perform safety checkd.

Thank you for the other piece of fine work. And big compliment for the host of the chanel. Good night, good fight
I will use it for the security of our small farm cause I'm just using a bike light for our farm. Thank you!
great video...love the demo of tactical pros and cons of flood light

This light would work great during our heavy storms along the Coast while we are at our beach bungalow.
I will use this flashlight as my edc and many different situations,(walking your dog at night, for camping, and self defense.)
I enjoy these videos. Lots of useful information and explanation. A floody light like this would help on night trail rides.
Die TM9K TAC ist meine derzeitige Lieblings Tala die mich überaus glücklich macht.! 💯 Nitecore 💯
Thanks from Germany Ostdoitschland..
I work in the mining industry. So the equipment that I operate are a few stories tall. So it would help to have a super bright flash light to do my walk around inspections when working night shift!
I currently have a tiny monster, looks like a great upgrade. Hope to win one.
When I go to my farm this would be handy to check on the fences and the cattle.
This would come in very handy when I do contract security jobs over the weekends.
Oh man 😁😁 I can't wait for the New TM20k that light looks amazing 😀😀😀
i can't wait too! It's going to be the next flagship high lumen model.
Finally the perfect flood light for my aircraft inspection job.
how long is the lifespan of the built in battery, if there is damage to the battery can it be repaired...and how the good way to care for the built in battery..tq

I really feel his comment about the switch positioning. I have the Noctigon KR4 when I really want was the d4v2 style. After using it for years now I have the D4k. There are really times that the tail switch is much better than the side switch.
The battery is built in. What do you do when the battery dies and need’s to be replaced?
If you mean recharge cycle, the lifespan is around 500+ cycles. Average around 3 years.
@@FlashlightEDC it’s 3 years warranty; if within 3 years the battery has grossly shorted capacity we can replace.
I like his honesty.
I use lens lens or head torch for fishing. Any nightcore head torches
Can the battery be replace after 500 cycle.
Can’t it’s built in
Love your reviews. Subscribed. These flashlights are built solid.
Great vidéo. It s possible to out the batterie for recharge ?
Not possible, built in batteries
Nice and Clear explanation , although i already had few Nitecore , i still like to view all the new Nitecore products info that you provide. really like the night time test , hope it can a bit longer , it's make us easy to understand how good is the light , can add some subtitle on the test mode
Yes will add more outdoor shots in future 👍
I just picked this light up. Should the "Mode" button be rattling?
I work for the City Water Service and working at night at various locations and water purification facilities frequently requires a lot of lighting available. I currently use an unbranded flashlight provided by the City Water Service which is barely adequate for my needs.
George
Now THAT is a badass little light! Might have to pick one up soon....
Wow this would be great for my firefighter job for search and rescue.
Would love to use this for EDC and searching around
So what is this bs text ? Pretending to be nightcore ?????
I live in the mountains and we have limited tools for lighting. It will really help us for the daily living during night time.
Wonder how this stacks up against the TM 9k Pro.
I'm a school bus mechanic, and use an olight but it's just not cutting it for me as I use it to secure the yard where we have the buses. Lately we been getting robbed for catylic converters, this light and it's brightness will help me illuminate all the yard to deter thiefs
I wonder how it, especially the battery performs for a prolonged period in extreme cold conditions.
Afaik batteries under perform in cold conditions
How many recharge cycles?
Around 500
Hope this one wil also come whit strobe ready button like the P10&20ix
Is it normal for there to be a lag to turn on before each use? Like half a second for both buttons.
Perfect to help me carry out my law enforcement duties as a rookie!!
Very good explanation of the short turbo run time. I couldn't figure out a use.
Terrific content. Like how you thought of good examples of scenarios for why you might want 8k lumens...even in short 2-3 second bursts for not more thn 10 seconds at a time. I'm from toronto...Canada.
If anything....in future videos please mention the lumens modes e.g. firefly ode, low, medium...Turbo. And runtimes...
You should setup a "store" on Amazon Canada's wetsite...Odd not all Nitecore lights are coming from Nitecore Canada even when ordered through Aamazon.
can this take the Nitecore NTC2i Tail Cap? I want this ready to go but I worry of pressing the button in my pocket
Great for trekking at the forest
Amazing. It'll help me see wildlife so much farther away.
Received the bundle today one thing I noticed is the p30 isn't the new one like said in video.
Amazing video as usual. I would definitely use it during site inspection especially when going in valve chambers. Would definitely help as usually they'd only have those handphone flashlight but with this it can light up for literally everyone.
Always love these videos. Great info every time. Can this light be rifle mounted?
So, local repair is the only suitable option and I'm asking if you're willing to help.
Greetings from the UK,
Anthony
Does the tm9k have strode?
As a nurse, I can use this when visiting remote areas to provide healthcare services.
The price on the site is in Singapore dollars, we also don’t have a 15% coupon. Are you confusing the emails from another store in another currency?
Hi, how to enter giveaway? 😊
