I’m still trying to understand how Cotton knocks a heavy ass bookcase unto Ghostface, and Ghostface, while still on the ground under the heavy ass bookcase, pushes Cotton with one arm so hard that he flies back across a desk where he can be killed a few seconds later. Truly mind blowing.
I first saw this movie when I was like 10 and I searched amazon and eBay for that voice changer. I was extremely disappointed to find out it wasn't real and that I was an idiot.
I appreciated the Jay and Silent Bob cameo. In Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back there was a moment where they stumbled onto the Scream movie set. Wes Craven even took part in the scene. Kinda cool that they did mutual cameos, even if it was silly.

I've heard that before. They were also going to bring Stu back, have him in prison and instructing the killers by mail or something. It would have been unbelievably stupid. How would they explain not only him surviving electrocution by television but also have it be a surprise for Sidney, Gale, Dewy or even Mr. Prescott that he was alive? There would have had to have been a trial and all of them would have had to have testified against him.

Yep, Sarah Darling is named after Sarah Michelle Gellar. Also, Tom Prinze’s last name is probably an homage to Sarah Michelle Gellar’s husband Freddie Prinze Jr.
James: "And that's Scream 3, I'd consider it the embarrassing third child of the Scream franchise, a child so trapped in the shadow of it's older siblings that it can't help but just suck a whole lot." Me, the third child out of four: "Hm, sounds familiar."

I feel like since the latest scream came out there’s been a resurgence of appreciation for this movie which is pretty cool. It was scream just with a lighter tone, act 3 is one of the best final acts of the series in regards to the story. And Jennifer is still one of the best side characters of the franchise
I gotta be honest I was always a bit biased to this film because I love Scott Foley and I think the solo killer as opposed to a partnership was an interesting twist from the preceding two films, but he brings up some great points about the film as a whole.

8:26 As Randy said, the third movie is about going back to find out something that wasnt true from the beginning. In Scream, it's that Roman was pulling the strings. In Stab, it must have had something to do with the party scene/climax of the first movie

I really liked how, despite Randy's assertions the killer would be supernatural, the series remained grounded and realistic (for a slasher film series, at any rate), yet they still managed to incorporate seemingly supernatural elements. Sidney's dreams and "visions" about her mother make perfect sense once this stuff starts getting stirred up, what with her PTSD, and especially with Roman guiding her towards things like the "Maureen Murder Flashback" set that will be triggers for her. Bulletproof vests let Roman (and Sidney) be more durable than a human should otherwise be, evoking certain unstoppable killers. The ornate ice pick Sidney uses brings to mind any number of magic daggers from assorted classic horror films, and the final shot of it sticking out of Roman's chest is evocative of the classic stake in the heart of a vampire. And finally, of course, Roman only dies for real when Dewey shoots him in the head.
pandaking100 :D I'd argue to say it's good My favorite will always be part 6, then part 3, after that I'd say the reboot is by far better than 7,8,9 and X, but is about as good as 4.
3:06 Just noticed that the "violence in cinema" exec is played by Roger Corman! The Pope of Pop Cinema and one of the big name directors/producers of the horror world. I see what they did there.....very meta indeed James......
Knowing you can watch all these old scream kill counts in a little over an hour, makes me more excited for the recount. The older episodes were too straightforward and I’m excited to see what James dug up as far as behind the scenes stuff.
@A Rational Bold Rich Dude ah yes, the Democrats in charge, like your President, and the majority of congress. Like, come on, at least know something about your shithole of a country
8:25 James, Stab 3 is a work of fiction not based on the previous Scream films. If you look closely, you’ll see that it’s called Stab 3: Return to Woodsboro. Stab 1 - Scream Stab 2 - Scream 2 Stab 3 Return to Woodsboro - A work of fiction
Btw When Gale checks the pulse of Roman he hasn't got a pulse. This is explained in a deleted scene where Roman explains how he applied a pressure point to slow down his pulse enough for Gale to think he's dead. This is confirmed by Kevin Williamson
actually it's not stupid, is a real thing. if you place a squash ball or somethign of same size in your armpit than you will stop feeling a pulse in your wrist
Fun Fact: Steve Stone Actor, Patrick Warburton, is the voice of Joe Swanson from Family Guy, Kronk from The Emperor’s New Groove, Ian from Open Season, Ken from The Bee Movie, and much more such as Chicken Little and Mr. Peabody & Sherman

*lives in California* *watching video outside as mosquitoes fly around me* James: California's got that bomb-ass weather and there ain't no mosquitoes here Me: Not all the time...
James is from the same area in Michigan as I am, where we have shitloads of lakes and forests and therefore, shitloads of mosquitoes. I'm guessing it comparatively seems like there are no mosquitoes in California (something I've also noticed on vacation there)!
Jennifer Jolie? Sounds like they combined Jennifer Aniston's and Angelina Jolie's names! LOL that was before Brad Pitt left Jennifer for Angelina! great coincidence!
Eh same honestly. But to be honest, thinking about it now that I'm older, its... honestly lazy writing. Yeah, it creates suspense, but there are better, more realistic ways to create suspense
As a resident of the west-coast, I can certainly say we DO have mosquitoes here. One thing I like about Scream 3 is the super-meta moment, when Tom Prinze is ripping up the script and is citing the pages he's actually revealing to the audience the upcoming scenes and the ending : "Maureen's Murder Flashback" - Sid comes across the 'set' for the flashback scene of her mother's death "The Prescott House Flashback" - Aside from Sid going through her memories in the set of her childhood room, we have her basically reenacting shot-for-shot her chase scene with Ghostface through her house once again. "Dewey Saves The Day" - Not only is Dewey the one to arrive to Sidney's aid on the soundstage, it's also Dewey in the end who is the one to finally put down Ghostface.
I love how utterly frustrated you were with how stupid this movie was. And with good reason! It sucked. I also hated how they credited Roman with manipulating Billy and Stu to kill Maureen. It kind of cheapens their own villainy in Scream. Any follow-up movie that tries to change the successful/loved canon of it's predecessor is almost automatically bad in my opinion.
Yeah it's definitely a tricky thing to do and rarely pulled off successfully. Especially not when the rest of the movie is such garbage, haha. Like, Scream 3 is fun enough to watch but man is it not great.
Dead Meat true story! I think you'd almost need to watch the movie with the mindset that it's a comedy to really appreciate it. Because it wasn't really that scary (except for that ghost mom scene).
I'm only here because I went on the subreddit r/entitledparents. There was a post about how an entitled parent wrote a comment on this video saying that this content is disturbing. I am going to jump into the comment section to find the comment. Wish me luck.
AttentionJunkie Apparently, the comment is on another video with the same title made by someone called Kill Count. And trust me, the replies are everything we thought when we think of entitled people.
AttentionJunkie Just type “Scream 3 Kill Count HD” and scroll until you find a video made by “Kill Count.” The commenter's username is “The Parent Of An Educated Child” or something.
As an outsider I can def see why it's ur fav. I mean if they're movies parodying horror it makes sense for them to go all the way. I like that. And ofc, jennifer jolie. And I think roman's points about hollywood were important, w their mother
@@tidigimon Well he's not dead at that time, so if she checked his pulse, she'd know that. If one were to be alive, which he was, he would have a pulse, which she would detect
@@MalikRussell Except, as other comments apparently told James when this episode was new (he brings it up later), if you take a firm ball and tightly hold it in your armpit it can actually stop your pulse from reaching your wrist. Thus, simulating death. This technique is so old in fact, that a black and white Sherlock Holmes movie featured it (IIRC).
@@Rafael-op3pd Except you wouldn't be able to tell, because it'd be hidden in his armpit. His arms were more-or-less at his sides, meaning there'd be no way to see under his arms to check unless a character did so specifically looking for it or to move his "body".
I swear there is no way ghostface is a normal person because: 1 He made technology to imitate other’s voices wich isn’t even possible today. 2 because he can basically vanish into thin air
Steven Stone... A burning rage flows inside of me whenever someone mutters that name for one reason: He has a Grass type that would always take down my Swampert and Kyogre with ease, making me start the entire Elite 4 allllllllll over again
10:05 Checking a pulse has been proven as a unreliable way to check if someone still has a heartbeat, because each person is differently build. You can also mistake a feeling pulse with your own pulse.

James, I think you need a hug after filming this Kill count. It'll be ok, there are worse movies I'm sure..
Cameron Steele *cough*Some friday reboots *cough*
Cameron Steele I will fear for his mental health if he's doing Halloween Resurrections.
Boltmaster XVII Friday the 13 reboot wasn't bad.....it wasn't good but it wasn't horrible
pandaking100 :D I'd argue to say it's good
My favorite will always be part 6, then part 3, after that I'd say the reboot is by far better than 7,8,9 and X, but is about as good as 4.
Derpy Duck true I agree totally
man this is my new favorite channel, I dont usually use the notification feature but I had to for Dead Meat. Keep it up James!
+PugaPugg Thanks so much PugaPugg!
omg XD that just made my week

Just noticed that the "violence in cinema" exec is played by Roger Corman!
"West Coast best coast"
Me watching this episode while California is currently on fire and it smells like smoke outside my window: ....
I was thinking the same thing. His comment did not age well lol.
@A Rational Bold Rich Dude oof the nerve to get political
@A Rational Bold Rich Dude ah yes, the Democrats in charge, like your President, and the majority of congress. Like, come on, at least know something about your shithole of a country
Yeah people give zero fucks about ca
At least you don’t have mosquitoes
Just realized detective Kankaid is a subtle homage to Dream Warriors and now I feel silly
Could you explain? I'm really oblivious...
@@liamkane7279 Thanks, bro.
How?
8:25 James, Stab 3 is a work of fiction not based on the previous Scream films. If you look closely, you’ll see that it’s called Stab 3: Return to Woodsboro.
Stab 1 - Scream
Stab 2 - Scream 2
Stab 3 Return to Woodsboro - A work of fiction
Stab 3 return to woodsboro cancelled after scream 3 ghostface killed every casts who actor on stab. New title “Stab 3: hollywood horror”
Laufield true.
Originally the killer was going to be Stu and while that would have been a dumb retcon....
It would have been a much better movie with him
...... yes
No.
@@PittsburghSportsFan43 Matthew Lillard makes everything better
'Let's play a little game...'
Sorry, dude. Wrong franchise...
hahaha good one
omg lol
Yawn.
"Every time this dude enters a room they end up a goddamn shishkabob"
*sounds like a slasher to me*
Living through 2017, the "Hollywood Rape" theme got way more creepy.
Xander Lowe and Weinstein is the producer of this movie!
This movie is actually referencing the Hollywood rspe thing of the early 70s--which is why the villain's name is Roman.
after coming back to the old videos you can tell that he got better at making videos over time
Listening to this Kill Count and I heard Red Right Hand playing. I love how they keep using the song throughout the franchise.
7:53 I’m with you she’s easily the highlight rip Carrie Fisher
Her and Patrick Warburton
Btw When Gale checks the pulse of Roman he hasn't got a pulse. This is explained in a deleted scene where Roman explains how he applied a pressure point to slow down his pulse enough for Gale to think he's dead. This is confirmed by Kevin Williamson
+EvilMonkeyPlaysGames yeah, I heard about that scene. It's the stupidest fucking thing I've ever hears
EvilMonkeyPlaysGames thank you. Was looking to see if anyone else payed attention to the pulse thing.
Wait I thought Kevin Williamson didn't write Scream 3, are you sure?
Kevin Williamson didn't write Scream 3. Ehren Kreuger did (however you spell it)
actually it's not stupid, is a real thing. if you place a squash ball or somethign of same size in your armpit than you will stop feeling a pulse in your wrist
That one savage moment where he says "He can't say anything now because he's dead." SAVAGE
Gold Belt I hate how salty he sounds man it’s not like James at all
Dead meat’s jokes are the best lol who else agrees? 😁

*lives in California*
*watching video outside as mosquitoes fly around me*
James: California's got that bomb-ass weather and there ain't no mosquitoes here
Me: Not all the time...
It's awesome to see how much buddy grown since this kill count. I love this Channel so much
James: “I hope the actor got a solid day rate for just lying there on the floor.” Me *chowing down on popcorn*: Naw that’s second team for sure.

I loved scream 3, it was my favorite, I never realized how bs the voice changer thing was though since I was like 11 when I watched it last
Shad I think to some extent the voice changer in Scream 3 creates suspicion
MaybeNextTime I also really enjoyed the thrid movie!
Eh same honestly. But to be honest, thinking about it now that I'm older, its... honestly lazy writing. Yeah, it creates suspense, but there are better, more realistic ways to create suspense
As a resident of the west-coast, I can certainly say we DO have mosquitoes here.
One thing I like about Scream 3 is the super-meta moment, when Tom Prinze is ripping up the script and is citing the pages he's actually revealing to the audience the upcoming scenes and the ending :
"Maureen's Murder Flashback" - Sid comes across the 'set' for the flashback scene of her mother's death
"The Prescott House Flashback" - Aside from Sid going through her memories in the set of her childhood room, we have her basically reenacting shot-for-shot her chase scene with Ghostface through her house once again.
"Dewey Saves The Day" - Not only is Dewey the one to arrive to Sidney's aid on the soundstage, it's also Dewey in the end who is the one to finally put down Ghostface.
Courteney Cox's hair is freaking me out XD
Tea&Opal -200th like

5:51 he didn't die, it's actually real footage about how Joe Swanson got paralyzed.
"At least there aren't, like, ghosts of Sidney's dead mom running around, right?"
"Sid?"
"You're joking. Let's just get to the kills".
I'm only here because I went on the subreddit r/entitledparents. There was a post about how an entitled parent wrote a comment on this video saying that this content is disturbing. I am going to jump into the comment section to find the comment. Wish me luck.
Came here to look for that as well, starting to think it was a roundabout way to promote the channel.
AttentionJunkie Apparently, the comment is on another video with the same title made by someone called Kill Count. And trust me, the replies are everything we thought when we think of entitled people.
I'm hunting for it to, good luck to you

Wait a mintue? People can have different opinions?! That is illegal!
As an outsider I can def see why it's ur fav. I mean if they're movies parodying horror it makes sense for them to go all the way. I like that. And ofc, jennifer jolie. And I think roman's points about hollywood were important, w their mother
"SHE CHECKS HIS PULSE" 😂😂😂
I don’t understand why that was so dumb...
@@DraconicDuelist Except he want holding a firm ball
@@Rafael-op3pd Except you wouldn't be able to tell, because it'd be hidden in his armpit. His arms were more-or-less at his sides, meaning there'd be no way to see under his arms to check unless a character did so specifically looking for it or to move his "body".
I swear there is no way ghostface is a normal person because: 1 He made technology to imitate other’s voices wich isn’t even possible today. 2 because he can basically vanish into thin air

Checking a pulse has been proven as a unreliable way to check if someone still has a heartbeat, because each person is differently build. You can also mistake a feeling pulse with your own pulse.
