This is all mentioned in like the first episodes so not really a big spoiler Below are spoilers that happen (or just explanations in general, don't scroll down if you don't want to know more) So most of the guys u see when u say "oh yea those are bad guys" well, sometimes they are, sometimes they arent. THey may act like bad guys, but its really a gray area for a majority of these people. And sometimes, we just don't know enough about them to even say what kind of person we are. We are 1000+ chapters and episodes into One Piece and we really don't even know what the red-hair guy (Shanks) plans are. He could be a bad guy, He could be a good guy. There are tons of theories out there that try to explain what everyone is or what their plans are. Its a fun aspect of one piece, trying to piece together what the universe is like for them, which kinda makes us "pirates" in a way, exploring the world of One Piece and discovering the lore for ourselves

But there are a lot of episodes so take sit, keep calm and watch for the details, there are a lot of them. 3 Words: Adventure, emotions, and a top tier world/story building. Fights are not bad but it's not his best point. Pacing on anime is slow sometimes on ep500+. Everything else, for me, is perfect. I think it's impossible to not love Luffy. About the openings, 13&14 my fav by far, 1,3,5,6,15,20&23 are also fire. Opening 1 means a lot for us who love One Piece many years ago.

That's not how arcs work.arcs are just the different sections and storys within A story.thats like saying there is no war arc in naruto because narutos goal is to be the hokage,or there is no chimera arc in hunterxhunter because gons goal is to find his dad.
