I so loved him.I miss him so much...he had such warmth and such brilliance
He's saying develop yourself as a person, be well-rounded and informed. There's no shortcut to being a great actor. It all takes time.
No need to speak for him
@@jimbojimbo6873don't think OP is lol... simply paraphrasing what he said
I miss him! Brilliant actor with no ego!
Seemingly a healthy one, anyways
He’s a wise man. 😊
Sure do miss that lovely man.😢❤
Good advice for young people regardless of aspirations.
Well said. Have opinions, know the world, and foster creativity so when something happens in the world you actually have an informed perspective.
With such a great tone of Voice he'll always stand out
Respect, R.I.P.
This is Jedi Master level advice.
Ok nerd
@@puvendranpillay8802Here in the West that's not an insult lol. Us nerds rule the world now.
How I miss his wonderful voice 😢
So brilliant. So missed.
Him and Gary Oldman two brilliant actors that never seem to get their due
According to you maybe
Oldman and Rickman are both highly revered actors
What rock are you living under?
Gary Oldman is probably one of the greatest actors working today.
By never get their due do you mean always get their due and are rich and famous and beloved?
Because that's objective reality.
Dear Alan … I’ve followed your career for a longest time but your role in Sense and Sensibilities could only have been accomplished by you. You were the heart of the piece along side Emma Thompson’s character! And together you both played a married couple in Love, Actually. ..adorable.. sad w humor!!Only you!!! We miss your beautiful speaking voice! God rest thee!!!! Merry Gentle man!!! 🌷
Spectacular and good man!
Yippee Cayyay..... A great voice and an actor
We are all truly blessed to have had him in our lives. Seek out his interviews and earlier films know this man and you love him. He was outstanding before and after Harry Potter. He will be missed.
The most important thing to be an actor is being "Present" anybody taking acting or Improv knows exactly how difficult this is!
❤😍Wisdom, Sabiduría! Amén
His advices are always useful in term of seeking your path whether you are an actor or someone with a regular job. Dearly miss the man ❤
May he Rest In Peace.
Such a great advice❤
Loved him in everything, but Colonel Brandon was it. ❤❤
❤ Absolutely!! Yes..a favorite of mine, also.
When The Metatron speaks you listen
My favorite actor of all time... wish he were still with us.
Powerful and true advice! Know yourself and the rest will come.
His voice was smooth as velvet
I really love your work Alan. You😢 was one of de most great actor I saw in my life. I thought you can't be dead. You live in my memorie at the end of the days😢❤
"You still love Alan Rickman: after all this time?"
"Always"
The answer will ALWAYS be ALWAYS.
Despite all the bigger or more serious roles he has played, I think Dr Lazarus on "Galaxy Quest" is my favorite. He was PERFECT as the frustrated Shakespearean actor who got consumed by that TV part. By Gabthar's hammer, he will be remembered!
Not just actors, this applies to all artists, not just to judge other's work but yours as well
What great advice, I'm so glad he's still with us.
He isn't. He died some time ago, sadly.
A real gentleman sadly missed.
A wonderful man and actor.
His advice, "grow up".
It is about experience. How much Life have you experienced, so you can react to the script and give a performance based on reality.
You know you've attained legend status when you have an iconic character for each generation you influenced --- Hans Gruber for the Gen X'ers and Professor Snape for the Zoomers!
I absolutely adore Allan Rickman. Love his advice which makes perfect sense to pull from and bounce off of your experiences and expansion🎉
Great voice!
His voice is unmistakable. Prof Snape!
Next level advice..
Truly, Madly, Deeply ❤️🩹
He can teach you to bottle Fame. Brew Glory. And even Put a Stopper in Time
Death, not time 🤓
spot on
so much missed. the quality of acting is trash now a days. Alan I never really knew much about until Harry Potter. then i went back and have watched most of his movies and many of them several times each.. he could of course do drama, comedy, all types of performing. he had such a range that most actors think they have but they usually come out doing their roles all the same.. I came out of this loving his humor. RIP MR. RICKMAN YOU WERE MUCH LOVED AND WILL BE MISSED.
Live life. Entrench in it. Re-act.
Look for experiences, fall down the rabbit hole. Sounds like good advice for any person.
Wgat a legend he was
1. Rich parents in the industry
2. Private school with strong drama curriculum
3. Skip homework to watch movies all day
Gotta go watch Die Hard now
his words sound like food in his mouth, he really has an interesting voice. he sounds like he's chewing on his own words. very interesting.
Damn Alan you left this world far too early!
Hans gruber
Actors are not coming to him...now😮
RIP Alan
Give me back my detonators! Mr cowboy!
Haaaaans!!!
💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
He lost me at “watch the news”.
If you want to know who you really are as a person. Travel the world. Save up for entire year or two and travel the world. You will always have the opportunity to get a job, but you will never be able to get your time back.
By Grabthar's Hammer, what a savings.
Guy was a great actor but how pretentious did that sound 🤷♂️
Yeah but let's not forget he was in Robin Hood, one of the singular bags of shit that was made. Young actors need to eat. So you take what you can and be grateful
Terrible film but Alan Rickman was a great sheriff of Nottingham.
Also have a odd voice
💜🌬..🎙⚖️🌤✅️
The only advice you will ever need no matter what you want to do is this… Be interesting
Alan Rickman read alot of Forbes Magazine and watched alot of 60 Minutes, well he thinks he mustve missed one episode.
Just practise acting watch films initate people look in the mirror film yourself
Something seems off about this actor. Just can’t put my finger on it.
Like what?
He’s one of the best ever
Just very, very . . . British.
Now I have a machine gun... Ho, ho ho...
Damn, I really miss him. His acting his opinion his voice.
I was just thinking that as I watched this. I really miss him. There is a lot of famous people who passed away and i'm Sad about it. But I really really miss him. The first thing.
I ever saw human was die hard and i was just blown away. And then I saw him and truly madly deeply. And I thought this guy can do anything. He could make you hate him or frighten. The hell of you or just make you fall in love.
Dogma. He was a genius in dogma. I miss him too @@scribe56
The most beautiful voice.
Sage advice on every level. Great actor.gifting us all with every performance and being here in our lifetime.
Absolutely brilliant
He was a great actor. RIP.
Hans Gruber.. What an actor and amazing baritone!!
What a wonderful word of wisdom.
Absolutely adore this man, gone way to soon!! RIP 😢😢😢❤❤❤❤❤
He’s saying,… LIVE!!!! Art isn’t about art! Art is interpreting LIFE!!!
Exactly! 👏
We really miss ye, Alexander Dane. We'll never again hear "By Grabthar's Hammer, Ye Will Be Avenged!"
This is so true for everyone, experience life, read, watch, listen and become well rounded in your life for any occasion and occupation. Much missed, glorious actor. What a legacy he's left to us.
So sorely missed.
Best actor period, RIP
Miss him. I can't look forward to more of his work. That's one of the cruelist truths of all.
Mr.Rickman was a Great Artist
One of the greatest.
now turn to page 158 in your potions book..
Billion-dollar advice, as relevant for politicians, professionals, artists, teachers.....
The sheriff of Nottingham
Brilliant
Love Him ! ❤ miss you !
He was a wonderful actor and person. Incredible talent. Rest in Peace Alan Rickman❤️🙏🙏❤️
good advice that applies well beyond acting
Coolest voice ever
That makes sense.
He had it ALL. Truly blessed our generations had him.
A gift to film and stage.
I never saw him in H. Potter films so I look forward to that.
I miss him terribly.
You should really see him in those movies. He and his character, Severus Snape were so beautiful 😢🖤🌹
I’m surprised he doesn’t also emphasize interacting with different people in different situations. However savvy you may be about the world, if you know only one way to interact with people, you won’t get very far.
I Think the problem with actors is that they have opinions on political or other stuff which they do only have opinion but no expierience. Example enginnering or warfare.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Dude, from one of the best movies in the 80s, Diehard .
"Yippee ki a mother fucker "
Wasn't he in Dogma. Yeah, that's one quality script.
The most powerful human voice in history.
How did he say "whenever" without moving his mouth ?
He was a great actor. Very few actors know anything about the world or truth in news.
Advice? Scowl and speak slowly.
He died far to young, missed greatly
Wow
That is brilliant advice
