Which vividness level can match the colour profile of s23 ultra ?
Max level 3.
Great video. However, this update did not fix a *huge* problem, the color banding. View gradients of colors is still horrible...
It's the exact same as the S23... literally the exact same
@dergrive88 I see. Assuming it's a software, color profile issue... we really need people to keep reporting the problem in Samsung Members App, this is the only way to get a fix for both S23 and S24 series affected.
My s21 plus color is way better. Why did they go backwards?
who returned their phone think that the phone anti reflective caused this are the most NPC decision they can make in their life.
The grain issue is a hardware defect or caused by the new coating, but no one mentions it
My old S9+ had a much better screen. These new phones are ass, wish I knew about that before giving them my money. There is grain on the display as well.
I updated but I don't have the advanced option helpp
Turn off the eye comfort shield and adaptive colour tone, it should appear once you do that.
What about the camera improvements in the new update...
Especially for S24 Ultra as Samsung mainly has done a lot more improvements in this particular model.
They have been summarized on some channels as one step forward, two steps back. Some issues fixed, but more issues made worse.
@@neilmcguinness4422 What are more issues that occurred after the update ?
Finally a direct answer based on facts using a color probe! Excellent video
Glad it was helpful!
@@NasiLemakTech - Hey so I picked up an S24 Ultra today, and I dont think the color profile is actually doing the right thing even after the updates, did you happen to run any gamma curve tests? To me, the gamma looks raised
All our color accuracy tests were done with gamma 2.2.
I don't have any tests for the phone's gamma though
Just upgraded from the S20 and this sucks, colors are wayy better on the S20 and deep. Pissed.
Turn on the vividness to the maximum and it’s the same
Are you sure Vivid Lvl 3 match the previous Galaxy ? I always thought It's Level 2. Or my eyes trick me because I felt more comfortable with Lvl2. Can't test it because I already trade my S22 to S24
Going by the data, yes it used to be level 3.
My screen is still very washed out
Should give s23 series the same option.
OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH! I was about to send back my S24 😭😂✨👏👏
Vividness lv2 is the best for me
I am from India, and I brought s24plus for 85 thousand rupees and am deeply disappointed. The screen quality is too bad .
Problem fixed loved it
I didn't know why when i edit my photo and i added to my Instagram stories it's get washed out and return to orginal again 😡
They did NOT fix it.... My S8 have better colors ( is a 7 year old phone)
Data doesn't lie.
Very helpfull. Thank you!
I started following you because of this content and I must say that you are meeting my expectations as a viewer. Thank you very much and congratulations!
I have a question for you: in the long run, does the natural mode stress less screen and reduce the chances of burning pixels or having any problems with the display?
Thank you for your time and consideration.

I bought a A55 and is the same problem, i waiting for a update to solve this problem
hello everybody. I purchased the s24+ and what I noticed is that in video calls, for example Facebook Messenger, in QHD+ resolution, white stripes appear as if it were interference. something that doesn't happen on my s8. Anyone else having this problem?
Commenting for the algorithm and to say thanks!
Adaptive color tone is the best choice for me 😂
Still not fixed, this patch did not do much to fix the washed out colors. I am so dissappointed with the S24 Ultra, I am moving back to my Note 8 old phone, and will return this trash screen phone, will consider buying any other phone than samsung garbage.
Crank up the vividness to level 3 and you're good to go.
Have done that already, and I have also increased the contrast from the developer option, done every trick and solution, the colors still dull and no where close to the vividness of the Note 8.
To be honest, it's not as vivid as my note20 ultra
Done Update...❤❤❤
This is not true because I just bought one and returned it. It was trash. Updates and settings and all. You can even see it in the BOOT LOADER. So it is built in. There is no fix.
you mean the s24 series colors are still bad or just the grainy screen
@@alis1079 colors bad. Faded whites. Dull everything. Just look at the Samsung logo on boot.
Thanks for all from türkiye and one questions "Do very vibrant colors harm the screen?"
Brightness is more of a problem.
I'm aware the brightness is on auto and low.
I even use the little gray gesture navigation and I also removed the battery clock etc. at the top.@@neilmcguinness4422
NO, THE COLOR IS NOT FIXED IN THE MOST UP-TO-DATE FIRMWARE! No color adjustment options can get the vivid colors compared to an S23 or S21 that I have here to compare. The problem still persists that the green and blue are too strong and the red is too week, which is super annoying for the eye and looks dull. It's unbelievable that Samsung screw so heavily up. Been using S-Series for so many years, either Samsung will fix this crap or I'll return the phone.
Can you make test
Only Super AMOLED plus screen phones esp the infinity O displays have amazing colours in Samsung now.. Also check the size of Super AMOLED plus screen phones are very thin as compared to others.
Instead of upgrading Samsung has decreased it's quality on phones 😢
s24 screen was NEVER dull!
You must've not seen the previous generations before.
@@NasiLemakTech i have plenty of them, s23 is oversaturated
Then go for natural color profile.
I am still confused why they havent fixed the clock customizations on AOD. it is so annoying how my lock screen clock and AOD clock has to be the same. like wtf samsung.
Ist much better this way, i dont want two different lock screen and aod screen
@@kasten8020 all im saying is why take that option for the people who likes customization. its cool if u want two the same clocks bro.
The screen is still bad. My s22 screen is better. What a shame
