@@RoubidouxCreekOutdoors Thanks, this is one of my favorite Scrimshaw knives because of that Catfish with the dark shading. I love that Scrimshaw fixed blade you showed but for some reason it would not let me post on that one ... nice find!!!!! Take care brother and you have a blessed Christmas season 🙏
I carried the old timer 194 ot for about 20 years in my pocket. Carried the big 5 inch camillus on my hip. I used the Schrade most of that time . Smaller knives are definitely more versatile.. In around 2000 my brother gave me a steel sided delica ,, man I fell in love with that one hand opening . It ended up taking the place of both of the other knives ( kinda sorta - I also started carrying a gerber multi tool - it had a very nice blade ).
I used to carry the same knife all the time. But, more and more people in town found out that I was a collector and started asking what I was carrying. It was then that I started grabbing an unusual knife to switch out with my edc for the trip to the store. I tried the modern knives just can't bring myself to switch ... I love the look and feel of a vintage slipjoint and have carried one since 1963😊 Take care brother and you have a blessed Christmas season 🙏
@@jedijimknives Me too!!! I have a few with fish but the Catfish on this on is really nice with such a nice dark shade. Take care Jim and have a blessed Christmas season 🙏
@@NorthStarKnifeReviews Thanks brother, I usually lean towards the different knives. I have a lot of specialty Schrades but don't have many average ones. Why buy it when I already have it in bone.😁😁😁. Take care and you and yours have a wonderful Christmas season 🙏
Very nice knife. There were a few of those Schrade Scrimshaw knives on eBay up here in the Great White North. They were running from $250 to $350. Beautiful pieces. Merry Christmas and have a great day!
@@Pocket_EDC That is way too high but I have traveled enough to understand supply and demand. Are you on Instagram?? I have one in great shape that I carried as an EDC that I would be honored to send your way after the holidays. Take care and you and yours have a blessed Christmas season 🙏
Very cool catfish handles I’ve got a new old stock 194ot I carry everyday for the last 6 months and it has petina love those single lock. My favorite is case copper lock.
@@Cooks-carvings My favorite carry lately has been a Scrimshaw stockman (Seagulls with lighthouse). Will have to show it soon as the Scrimshaw is getting very lite. When not carrying it I carry a 194 or the cheap brother W001 (it takes a dangerously sharp edge) Take care brother and Merry Christmas 🙏
