Vosteed has two new knives with the top liner lock; this Raccoon and the Hedghog, which has a modified sheepsfoot blade. I ordered one of each as soon as they dropped and they were delivered last week. The action is the best I have ever experienced and they both have replaced my Kizer Brat as being my favorite knife for EDC. Vosteed offers both models in different variants and although slightly more than the $75 limit for budget knives, I think that they are well worth it. A big 👍 from me.
This knife was almost an immediate no for me. I hit the button while using it the first time. Unlike a lot of button locks this only need to be flush with the scales to disengage where a lot of button locks have to go below the scales. I did not feel safe using this.
That top liner lock is cool. Great looking knife. I really like your knife reviews.
The TTL is indeed cool and innovative. I'm really liking it. Thanks a lot!

That's awesome! Ya the TTL is a game changer!! Glad you like them, I have to try the hedgehog!! Would love to see a sheepsfoot TTL Raccoon!!
Glad you got one to take a look at! Funny how the Raccoon has become sort of the “ubiquitous” Vosteed. (well, that and the Nightshade I suppose)
Thanks! This one is awesome! Yeah, the Raccoon and Nightshade are staples for Vosteed! Great knives!!
A button compression lock. Interesting. Thanks 😊
Thank you brother!
