Me also, but I still watch some of his clips on RUclips. I found him repetitive (which is hard to avoid after years on-air), and unscientific on some issues, but he still makes some good points or at least raises important issues/viewpoints. There has been an online cancel culture/illiberalism from both the far right and left. There is a strong flavor of support for Hamas and antisemitism in the current college protests.

If they had supported the Vietnamese people, and not an army or political group, it would be similar. The thing I hate most about Bill Maher is how sure he is that he is always right on every issue. He is a true narcissist.
Maher is definitely more conservative as conservative “values” go. No morals or humanity. I stopped watching him after he fat shamed James Corden. I knew he was a slimeball then. I didn’t really ever agree with some of his opinions but I did like some of his guests.

I use to like Bill Maher. Then he started going over the top trashing Democrats and he started having conservatives on his show ... giving them a platform. I stop watching.

To be fair, Maher was actually “canceled” once. He used to have morals and principles that bit him in the butt. He learned the wrong lesson from it.

Interesting take. Makes one wonder if he ever had genuine morals and/or principles in the first place. Genuinely moral people don’t chuck them for fame and paycheck. Bill is a selfish opportunist.

I cancelled Maher a long time ago.
I don't usually comment, but know I need to. I live in Finland, that newly became NATO member. As former military operative (major) I'm concerned about U.S politics and mental mindset. Your spoken words brings trust in my heart that you Americans have not all gotten crazy. Thx.
