The best thing we ever did was put a porch on our house! We LOVE it - so relaxing listening to the birds, watching the seasons go by...and I am not a Senior (yet)!! More people need to sit on porches 😁
When I was a little girl, my bus would drive by a big white house with a wrap-around porch and a young disabled woman would be sitting there on a swing every afternoon. I always told myself that one day I wanted a porch with swings so that I could swing like she was and drink a cold glass of iced tea. Nothing like sitting on that dream porch and watching the sweet hummingbirds!
@@LifestyleDude-Lee Oh, yes, twenty years ago and added two swings on each end. I grew up in Maryland so certain she had a cooler porch in the summer than what I do in Texas but I still manage to enjoy it. The deer are protected in my community so I often watch deer and I have many visits by little green lizards.🦎
Looks like you’ve got a lot of plants behind you that need putting in the ground, so I suspect that you don’t spend ALL of your time sitting around on the porch with the pup!😊👍

I really enjoy the little guys , they hang around until the end of August or the first part of September . Did you get your porch?

Those are my wife's Hosta's that she raises, I just help. She will be glad you noticed them.
