- At one of the side stages at the 2010 Chicago Blues Festival the performers gave this young guy a guitar - and he played very well. I later found out that people were calling him Little Ray. If that isn't right please let me know and I'll fix it on the title. Video was shot on 06/11/10.
OK his name is Kid Ray Goren
really good kid....and the dude doing bass ...dAm...right on.Yes this kid plays with soul and feeling....most a the kids who play...you can tell their playing from ...WHAT TOLD TO DO AND HOW...talent.?..well ldk....but this boy gots it.
This kid makes me feel like I need to lock myself in a empty room for a good 3 weeks with nothing but a guitar and just practice. I feel like I suck at guitar now:p

Yea this kid is really good. A natural. There's another kid who is not as good and he already has some kind of "got to his head attitude" already.t man latz. Not as good and annoying. Ray seems more humble from what I can see. Nice.

@bluesrock22 Check out the video I put up from the 2011 Chicago Blues Festival featuring Eric Guitar Davis and the Troublemakers. This guy is the real deal and could be the next American Guitar Hero (think Hendrix, Stevie Ray, or Buddy).

True... But sometimes, it´s hard to just play away a solo without any backing track, even though there were a drummer. Also, if you don´t believe me, try and listen to how the kid is playing, and then compare it to the guy that mumbles the melody.
This is a REAL BLUES guitar player. Nothing to do with KID sullivan .

+frankipoux There is a reason Quinn Sullivan plays show after show with Buddy Guy. He is the real deal. This kid here is good, but he is no Quinn Sullivan, and will never own a stage.

Ray Goren is nowhere near as talented as Quinn Sullivan. He is as fake as they come.
