Chris just casually dropping content on Xmas day, have to respect that work ethic! As for the hotel itself I'm pleased to see it finally open but I do have some doubts on it's location (Resorts World is also suffering) because there is no real foot traffic beyond Wynn/Fashion show mall. There needs to be a decent connection for these properties to thrive although I can see it doing well with the convention crowds for it's location.

After covid ,convention center was affected without thousands of people from all around the world, I was a cadriver since 2010 to 2020 and I moved to L .A. California once vegas was closed for about 7 months, I hope we have a full recovery in Vegas ,I miss my favorite city of USA

Thank you for the walk-through. I would almost feel like an imposter there. I imagine the doorman saying, "Sir, I'll need to see your Triple-Diamond-Platinum-Credit-Card in order to allow you entry." I'd say, "Uh, I got a JC Penney Card and some coupons for Domino's Pizza. Is that good enough?" Yeesh! That aside, the huge gold sculpture was amazing. Love your videos!

Just catching up. We ate at Mother Wolf at the end of Jan and it was good! Not “blow me away” good but I’d recommend it. The cocktails were wonderful. The hotel was pretty slow but it was during the week. I hope it picks up!

I’m trying to make up my mind on staying there on our next Vegas trip with my wife. We usually stay at the Palazzo at the Venitian resort as it’s calm, beautiful, the rooms are huge and luxurious and we love the pool.
The Venitian is definitely high end and has expensive dining options but FB feels like a more exclusive place for sure.
I guess I’ll wait till the pool opens to see what that’s all about!

I was there last Sunday evening and I believe they were doing a status match earlier in the day but stopped it pretty quickly. Played for over an hour on the slots for $40, not bad.

Is the outside of this building blue? Drove past a new building on the Strip and didn't know what it was. It was between the Strat and Resorts World but across LV Blvd.?

Checked the place out yesterday. Visited from Toronto Canada and was excited to finally check it out.
Its a stunning and elegant place but to be honest was a little disappointed with the casino found game selection very dull and it just didn't have a fun vibe about the the place. Found that Wynn nad Resort world has the best of new and old slots.

It looks very nice but if I was planning on staying there I would expect everything to be open - you are not really getting what you pay for, especially for the price you are paying for. Definitely a hotel I would look at in the future though...

It's been 16 years, since this has been under construction, not 23 years. They started the plans in February of 2007, construction started about a month after that.

Actually you're not bad at math, I did some double checking and in the year 2000 and 2001, is when they started planning for the Fontaine Blueau.
I never knew it took that long.
I don't get the hype of ikea / cruise ship aesthetic. And don't get me started on the incongruous spelling vs the hick way they pronounce it. I appreciate you sharing it so I know not to bother

Strangely enough I got more of a Planet Hollywood vibe more than a Cosmopolitan vibe from the general look of these two floors….Now that both of the “2008 financial meltdown orphans” have finally opened, do you ever wonder what Vegas would’ve been like now had both of them not melted down and halted development of new resorts for more than a decade?! It’s a lovely place though…really glad they didn’t proceed with that design they were going to use back when it was going to be “The Drew”(which was a Terrible name!)
The reason I called it a Cosmo vibe is for the high end seemingly exclusive restaurants. Planet Hollywood restaurants are really basic

All the same shit in every casino, the charm and distinct vibe of each casino is gone. Died in about 02
The sad thing is, have you (or other content creators) ever mention how casinos have been over charging, fleecing and rigging games from day one? It's bad enough that all these casinos ONLY care about money but having people promote them is kinda sickning. With the current state of the economy, it might be better to make a video showing how you could cook that way over priced $100 steak at home.
