I know when I watch the Olympics I feel like I could do that lol no way no chance. But they make it look so easy. Everything takes a little practice to get it down. And for me, my thinking about things makes things more complex than they really are🤣

      Thank you Doreen, I actually learned today they’re called discs lol, and in my opinion, they are probably the easiest to work with and get a really pretty ornament affect. If you check out my previous video 275, and part, one of the series, I cover, blooming on a flat little wooden piece, and that’s by for the easiest, but not the most gratifying! So check that one out if you wanna look for another option as well. I will also have a Straight Bloom on a disk coming up as the next part of the series!

      Hi Patricia, 😘and welcome. I thought I explained it in the video but maybe it was a different one. I did the Bloom transfer because the cells hold up better when I transfer it from the bachelor onto the ornament. With some of my other ornament creations were, I bloomed directly on the ornament as it starts to dry, start to kind of sag and lose their shape around the shape of the ornament. 🧡 good question.

      @LouiseMcKayArt  14 дней назад +1

      Hi Erika, one of my ornament creations from last season was a direct bloom on the ornament, I’ll try to link it. I’ll have to find it first. What happens is you blow out the bloom and then gravity takes hold of it and pulls it down and stretches it out, and my opinion, too much, let me see if I can find the video. Of course, it all depends on the look you’re going for, so you may like it better blooming directly on. I think this is it.: ruclips.net/video/1vlPJCpMLZ0/видео.htmlsi=hNhfTn-7BzG3P2MC

    Well Tressie, that’s a problem bc white and red will always make pink. Hmmm. So I’m assuming you’re doing the bloom transfer. So is it in the dripping that problem really shows? Maybe do 1 side at a time by taping it half way down, transfer, let it dry, then flip it to do the other side, but not sure if taping fit the 2nd side wouldn’t take off the paint. How about one side of the bloom red/gold, the other side pearl and gold and hope the red/white stay away from each other during gravity. I’m still thinking….

    • @LouiseMcKayArt

      Thank you 😘 in my later videos in the ornament series I cover show that but I basically take a toothpick and ‘coax’ the drip off. In the end there’s a small nipple but it looks fine.
