I still get a code after following your steps, this happens when I wait to start. You’re saying disconnect wires, and don’t wait to start to not get codes/check engine light?
You get no check engine lights or code anymore with it disconnected? I want to do this to mine but worried it will keep throwing a check engine light if it trys to turn it on and sees its not there
When you first turn the key, the low oil pressure light comes on (red light). If you start the truck right away, will that be bad for the engine when there's no oil pressure yet?

It had a tune
Instead of disconnecting the grid heater line from the relay switch can you disconnect it from the battery?
I've seen Marion Blair's method do it from the battery terminal. Based on that, I would say yes, and that's when I'm going to try to do.
I disconnected from the battery more than year ago, no any problems
Should have been more specific.. it will code After about 3 starts and or 100 miles. ALL Depends on outside temperature
mine it never came back , also this was temporarily
