The Carrie remake wasn't that atrocious, it just plays to a market who don't know anything about horror films (or at least good horror films). Some people have basically used it as a gateway movie into the original horror films, so some may say it's a necessary evil……dead, or a necessary Last House On The Left, or a necessary Nightmare On Elm Street (just joking, that last one was almost totally without merit)
My favourite part was when Tim casually mentions the night terrors, bathtubs full of blood and animal sacrifices after the much less horrible things. Great use of Bread, Eggs, Milk, Squick. Hilarious sketch, I enjoyed it very much.
Irony is that both Tim and I (descending from French/Belgium parents) actually really like mayonnaise on chips. If anything, a bit of self-deprecating humour. Mayo and chips all the way!
This is a really interesting concept for the future of DVD marketing, and what a way to begin it all (presuming this is the beginning, I've definitely not seen a specifically made advert-video for a DVD release before).

I actually knew a girl like that. She's a high school teacher in a fairly well-to-do Detroit suburb now. Funny thing is, all the kids just adore her. Poor Jack. You are sooo lucky that you didn't get more of him on you! :D
