i think modern feminism has strayed from its OG core believes and goals. It would be 1 thing if a bunch of guys said this but its another when a bunch of women ALSO say this. In my opinion, yes. From personal experience, to and seeing hearing other stories, and the countless videos on every social media platform, it feels like most women don't want to be the same as men or equal, but they want more. And that to me is a system doomed to fail itself. But thats my take.
I believe that society is finally swinging back to a point (in general, not either side of the extremes blasted on social media,) where people understand the healthy difference between masculinity and femininity. My issue with this whole thing, and almost every single take from these interviews in the video, is it feels like although women know what their feminine desires/instincts lead them toward, they don't seem cognizant of or willing to put in the effort that accompanies a woman's work. That is to say; I dislike hearing from so many women my own age saying they want to be a stay at home wife/mother so they can "put their feet up and relax" or do whatever while their husband works.... That's not what being a woman is about. Being a mature adult, whether you're a man or woman, should lead you to work and sacrifice and love. If you have a husband, take excellent care of him to the best of your abilities, make sure he's happy and thriving. If you have kids, work hard at spending time with them, educating them, making sure they become well rounded adults. If you have a home, spend time taking care of it, cleaning, gardening, organizing--whatever. I just hate the misconception that being a home maker, wife, and mother, is all about doing your own thing and it isn't work. Give back to your husband, your family, neighbors, and community. Don't strive to be idle.
@@MyDogisEvil I would agree with u but women haven’t had more than 70 years of rights to prove that women want more than men. Getting rights and actually receiving them in society are two different things, in a society that for the longest of time has promoted traditional roles for both men and women. Today both women and men bash each other for stepping out of their “traditional gender roles “ while praising those that don’t. Women for the first time are participating in society apart from staying at home, they can do what men don’t want and men do what they don’t want to do either. It’s about accepting that women can do just as much as men can and that men can help them achieve their goals by making the world as safe as possible for women just like it is for men.
It's kind of sad. Men don't have a say if he wants a family. Women hold all the power, her choice. I'm positive that some great men whom probably will never have a family.
As a woman, I used to be a feminist myself like.. 10-15 years ago. I do not relate today because it is not about having rights anymore, it is about stepping on men. But I still appreciate and remember what feminists did in the past, and for that, I will always be grateful.
Been that way for some time now, and feminism is a bad deal for women too. Female empowerment doesn't have to be stripping your femininity, you don't need to be masculine in order to be strong, and men don't need femininity in order to not be toxic.
In my book, anyone who can't get along with 50% of the planet has failed as a human being. "If you woke up one day and you met an asshole, you met an asshole. If you woke up one day and everyone was an asshole, *you're* the asshole."
I was always a tomboy growing up which is part of the reason my husband and I clicked so well. We fish together and do a lot of outdoor things. But I love cooking dinner for him and dressing nice when we go out. Everyone has varying levels of masculinity and femininity. I think people are too worried about things like this rather than just living life and finding a partner that's compatible to do it all with (if that's what you want).
Avatar TLA shows this so well, Sokka is masculine for sure but isn't macho, he tries to be but just isn't. He's more logistical and it shows in his personality, he's also a natural born leader and becomes one eventually, something that's traditionally and often associated with being a man, masculinity.
@@CarrotMuncher Sokka is a fictional character just as Avatar is a fictional world written by a multi millionaire who hasn't experienced anything close to real life of the 99% for decades. Effectively he's a fantasy.
I hate that when asked, "Do you think feminists push anti-man rhetoric?" They will not only say yes, but they will justify it with, "Well, the patriarchy has ran for so long in men's favor..." Like, why do so many people subscribe to something like, "Well, my enemy does it, so if I do it it's okay."
Yes, that's what the Chinese government says too. Since you guys had the industrial revolution/polluted the earth/colonised people - its OK for us to do it too. But most of these people will agree that the Chinese government is evil but the inverse obviously isn't true. Hypocrites.
Exactly. It shows pretty much why religions don't work in practice. Like Jesus said all sorts of stuff that a great many Christians do not identify with. Likewise feminist proponents say it is about equal rights, but what they really mean is equal or superior rights where women don't have it, and the protection of superior rights where women already have it.
Men are the villains. Who has started almost all wars? Who causes more violence, who rapes more? Who killed more? Who has controlled and restricted what the other gender can do through history? Think about a big issue right now and tall me it's not a man or two behind it.

I'm a woman who's in manufacturing. I have honestly never thought about femininity. I just know that I'm a woman who likes to get her hands dirty. I think femininity is just being a woman and not trying to be a man. I wouldn't say I'm masculine because of the work I do. I still like to get my nails done, do my makeup, etc. I just happened to like that type of work..
I agree. Everything depends on the individual's mindset. But there is always influence by others and society no matter what. It depends on whether you choose to apply what they say or not. And some genetic / hormonal reactions. This applies to both men and women. Just as you are not sure of what makes up femininity, many believe is caring, nurturing, and supporting; men don't know what makes them masculine other than being stoic, protecting, and supporting financially. Perspective of others will always have different opinions and different levels. For me as a male, many people seem to be scared of me. A woman a few months ago at my office told me that she was scared of me. But after speaking with her, she changed her mind. That's because I'm stoic. I'm not reaching out to everyone due to being shy around others. I'm perfectly comfortable sitting in my own cubicle getting work done alone. But many want me to go around talking to them, but they don't necessarily do the same. Both men and women are the same when talking to them. They want to know what I did over the weekend. I'll share at least one thing. If I ask them, they kind of avoid saying anything. I wouldn't think of you as less feminine working in manufacturing. Women tend to be associated with brightening up the room. Meaning they will socialize with a lot of people, making people feel more comfortable and open to share. A woman may be more masculine if they have certain physical traits like a square jaw that is more prominent. Maybe its how they walk. An article I saw online says that women tend to be more graceful and having flowing movements, whereas men may seemed more dragged and less graceful. Feminine women tend to have a lighter voice. Versus talking loudly or dominating verbally over others. As for traits, aggression and dominance is seen as less feminine. Sports, camping, hunting, cars, body building, etc is looked as more masculine interests. More masculine traits may be more ambitious, competitive, and more rational than listening to emotions. But you can still be feminine with all of those if you tend to be less stoic.
That's not masculinity at all, it's just work ethic. Seriously a few centuries ago everyone who wasn't rich from the young to the old, man or woman broke their backs working farmland just to keep from starving. People get too hung up on cultural ideas as being intrinsic. The great irony is that in nature typically it's the males who make a big visual fuss. Just look at peacocks vs peahens 😅, to say nothing of the various birds of paradise. Only a handful of centuries ago it was completely normal and accepted for men (at least the upper class who could afford it) to wear lace in their clothes and use cosmetics. Getting hung up on these things that change with the times is a fools errand.
That's the problem with the women he just interviewed, and I for sure don't want a women who doesn't want to do her part of a nuclear relationship and make my ass do the rest in the name of empowerment and girl power and all this other nonsense. Kind of heartbreaking to me that when women nowadays are asked what they want in a man, they inmediately think of money and the shallow things. I'm currently with my boyfriend right now, and I'm with him because of his willpower to make things better for both of us and our future family, I also admire his strength and the way he wants to improve everyday, and I admire his personal values and I actually love having him around. I value him entirely and I'd value he'd be around our future family more so than out there making money on a thankless job, even though nowadays it's necessary. I think men need to be genuinely more loved for who they are rather than just for what they can provide.

If cheating stats rely on self-reporting, then it's going to make men look like they're worse because men are more likely to admit it and get caught. Women, on the other hand, guard the truth behind their age, weight, and body count, so of course, you will be a massive group of women unwilling to admit they cheated & are great at keeping it a secret. Even the women who have been caught red-handed cheating will go on to rationalize it in a way where they can say they didn't really cheat, so even that group won't give you straight answers. Lastly, men have an aversion to admitting to people they were cucked and definitely won't scream it from the rooftops, so men naturally sweep stuff under the rug or under-report to save face.
@@joshg6491 Agree with you. If anything the % of women is likely higher. Because women tend to go for the same small percentage of men who sleep with multiple women. If you look at the stats on dating sites in terms of the percentage of women going for the same men, its extremely significant. So the same one guy might be cheating with 10 different women.
when in the world does it take 2 to cheat? The whole issue is that it is not involving both partners, it makes no sense to assume both must be cheating.@@joshg6491
I come from a country where women 100% cheat more than men for sure, simply for the fact most men here are sexless and single and i always assumed this was the case for most of the world, that most guys struggle to even get one woman let alone multiple for them to be able to cheat in the first place
I seriously dont get what y'all want. People always say to use stats instead of feelings, then when it doesnt fut your narrative, suddenly you act like you know every woman in the world and every man, and deny all statistical outcomes? You're going off of emotions right now, your own feelings, which is fine but definitely not inherently factual or "the truth".

Modern feminism isn't fighting for the equality of the sexes, it's fighting for the equity of one. They just want guaranteed outcomes not equal opportunities.
It's not that women were important to the workforce, it's that they took a percentage of the workforce out of work for a day which caused disruptions. Same thing would happen if you tried that with men, it would be more impactful because men make up a higher majority of the workforce. Are both important to a healthy society? Yes. I wish people would stop trying to say equality when they want superiority. Can't have your cake and eat it too.
Exactly both need each other I order for society to function healthily. Also one thing to think is that while men do occupy the majority of the work force they can be replaced by automation in a couple of decades while women are more involved in the education and health sectors as well as the rising tech sector.
@@kindallnight1615 Well that explains why education has never been worse and the "health" industry is a sickness farm. What you say about tech just isn't true outside of freebie quota filling positions. Enjoy living in delulu though.
women protecting each other from not just judgement but consequences and accountability is exactly what feminism stands for in the first world in 2023. it's a female solidarity movement that has nothing to do with equality. men are always accountable for their actions and decisions, women aren't because whatever they did they were manipulated. the patriarchy made them do it.
No, not at all. I will agree that a majority of young women in this day and age probably think and feel that way. But don't say *all* women when that isn't true. Its weird how you see women desire traditional structures in relationships, but reject all the values of tradition. You see it with the women in this video where they point to being "feminist with some traditional values" Where you tend to see a total rejection of natural female roles (i.e child bearing) whilst upholding it for men This is more apparent on the virtue front in desiring dominant men, whilst rejecting subservience. There are ways to earn a living that don't involve corporate wage slavery. You have to be physically strong and capable and calm in a crisis. - Picking up a trade and becoming a tradee (builder, plumber, electrician, heavy machinery operator, trucker). These blue-collar professions are surprisingly well-paying, especially if you set up your own company. - Starting your own business and being an entrepreneur. I don't have a problem with feminism as a concept of equality. I have a problem with the picking and choosing. one example would be wanting equal pay, but always looking for men making more than them. Another one would be how they brag about being independent , but always expecting the guy to pay on dates. It's weird how feminism goes out the door when it comes to finances
When I ask to split the bills, guys assume I'm not interested in them. I talked about it with a male friend last week, and he said that for him it's like the girl doesn't want to "owe him anything" because she doesn't intend to take it further. These traditional views are still held by men as well, so women letting the men pay is not always out of greed. Similarly, relationships where the woman makes significantly more than the man are doomed to failed. Even if the man doesn't mind, society will mock him and demasculinize him until he starts resenting his woman. Same for men who date older women, people always assume they have issues.
100% this. Feminism at its core addresses many issues that women face in society, and I can definitely get behind that. What I *DON'T* like is how common cherrypicking is in feminism. They hate the patriarchy but also side with the patriarchy when it's in a woman's favor, while still expecting men to abide by the male gender roles of the very patriarchy that they claim is problematic. As a male who, despite being heterosexual, doesn't really tick off all the boxes of what masculinity is, I see this shit all the time from "feminists".
I don't think it's just about the money. Fact is, women struggle more with their self-perception than men and are, on average, less confident. I think there are plenty of women who are willing to pay for dates/go out with a man that makes less than them, but they don't have to confidence to play the role of an iniator. Maybe they're even intimidated by their partner and don't want to impose themselves on them/hurt their egos. Imo it's more complex than that, the male-female dynamic has changed so much in the last 20 years than neither men nor women know what to do.
@@okplay9446 It is always about money and no it's not ''women being intimidated'' it's women knowing they can get free shit. My mum is a pretty strong woman. She works and has boundaries and can be very direct. But she is also clearly the one who naturally takes more care of the household. It's not something she is forced to do, but she naturally is quite caring and will make sure the house is kept in check. Mind you taht doesn't mean she always does it all herself, but also delegates it to my brother and I. Nonetheless she's the one who knows what needs doing when it comes to the house.
My mom is amazing. She works, does the housework (sometimes tells me and my brother what to do) and cooks delicious food. She doesn't need anything else to be a strong woman, in my eyes she's a much better role model than a lot of other women. So yeah, I can relate
My mom decided she wanted to be a professor because she bought the feminist dream. So she started going back to school, and while she was focusing on her career 3 out of her 4 childrens' lives fell apart. My oldest brother became an alcoholic and quickly racked up 3 DUI's, my sister became an opioid addict single mother with two kids from different fathers, she still lives at home as a 40 year old and is entirely dependent. My mom earned TWO masters degrees while her favorite teenage son was deliberately flunking out of highschool to sleep in my car as I rapidly became a deadbeat alcoholic. After 10 years of struggling I managed to beat that addiction alone, but now I feel crippled and hopeless. That's the reality of feminism. So now she's a 65 year old woman now with a middling career in education, half her children's lives are in utter ruins, and the other half are deeply resentful towards her abandonment of us when we needed a mother.
sure but you still have men helping she isnt the only one there to guide. if you disagree think about all the men that are around you and those are the ones that help your mother.
Single mothers are something else, my mom worked 3 jobs (1 full time, 1 part time and night shift) and still took care of the household for years until we were old enough to pick up after ourselves. Single moms are the closest thing to superheroes. I have so much admiration for them especially because at no point do you ever hear them complain or be entitled, they are just pure hard-working, brave, strong, kind people. They deserve so much more respect than these fake delusional femcels on Twitter spamming "slaayyyy gurlboss" when they belittle guys for no reason. If the attention shifted to showing the image of single mothers in a more mainstream way I guarantee it would eradicate most of the toxic red-pilled men community, because these people don't go outside.

Speaking as a 36 year old man who is an empath. I feel that as a society we are to focused on assigning masculine or feminine qualities to people based on their sex. We dont bother to ask ourselves which character attributes do i embody and most strongly identify with. We are obsessed with labeling people and assigning them a place in some kindd of hieraachy instead of just taking people as they are and valuing their innate humanity
Speaking as a 40 year old married woman with kids.... I think you've drank the Kool aid of the last decade. Sex and gender are the same as they've been for all of time across cultures and time... Even across animals there is an acknowledgement of obvious differences. It's so much less of a mind -,f**k to relax and understand that differences between men and women is real and is alright. Lean into it. I'm not some right wing crazy person. I'm a regular left leaning person who has found my line in the sand with this bizarre gender re -write. NO. We are not assigning anything, it's already been assigned. People will all be differences between people, but there absolutely is a binary. Human existence depends on it. Valuing our humanity isn't being stolen from by also valuing and respecting our roles
The Roman empire lasted thousands of years and was very into labeling people. We have had 3rd wave feminism for like 50 years and are at the brink of collapse. Just maybe we could find a middle ground, one where we realize sex does determine masculine/feminine because hormones and value both of these instead of fighting it.
Used to be pretty masculine back then on my middle school days because I was essentially having an existential crisis as to who I was, I didn't really fit in that well and with constant "feminity is not as good as masculinity" being pushed down to you by feminism I decided it'd be best to stay masculine. Wasn't until I met my boyfriend I realised he deserved a good woman when I fell for him, therefore I started being more in touch with my more feminine self (I still struggle too much with it though, my interests are kinda boyish honestly and I don't think it'll ever change lol), I would genuinely just love to give him kids and stay at home raising them, but a lot of people like my mom might say that it's not viable and that I can do "more", but honestly, I don't care. I'll do it because that's what I feel like my role is, and it'll never change. I sometimes have days I struggle with my femininity and laying back, but it's still one of my priorities. I feel like women would be a ton happier if they got to relax more and be on their feminine energy, but these days it's pretty hard and I admit it.
This all women should be feminine and all men should be masculine trope is ridiculous. Just let people live and be how they want to without pressuring either sex to be a certain way. Everyone will have different ideas about what is masculine or feminine too, and everyone will be on a spectrum between the two. Being feminine doesn’t make you a better woman, but suggesting that women who aren’t does make you a worse person.
A lot of girls reject femininity because they have been told by men that being feminine makes you weak, over emotional, overly sensitive, irrational etc.
@@wft15 We tried that, now man are in women's sports and a good percentage of women think they are men. Feminism used to be about what we can do. Now it’s about how we feel. We have forgotten what the early feminists set out for and now these women have to find problems to stay relevant.
Early feminism a was about as nasty and resentful as it is today. The earliest feminist pushed for destruction of marriage, state funded abortion, children belonging to the state instead of the parents, socialism ect. Not gonna lie, I was shocked by the dating coach. Usually they're just idiots with no life experience and social awareness claiming they know about people but Blaire actually had a head on her shoulders, was really intelligent and very socially aware.
Never, ever take a woman’s advice on dating. I’ve learned this the hard way. What they want and respond to are not the same. Never act vulnerable or weak around a feminine woman, she’ll loose attraction.
I'm a feminine woman, and I want my man to be vulnerable with me, when he needs to be. And yes, I have dated a man that cried in front of me, more than once, and it was totally fine and there was no loss in attraction. What WILL make a feminine woman lose attraction is if a man seems unstable or frightening in some way. There's a huge difference between crying and venting when you need to, when you need solace and the love of your partner, and being a volatile, emotional soul in need of healing from within.

I feel like feminism has definitely lied to women. Men and women aren't anywhere near equal in all aspects of life and being in the trades it can be such a detriment to have a woman on your crew if you're doing very physical work. I have a friend that is a fire fighter and another that's a marine and both say it's crazy how the standards have dropped to push women more into their professions. I feel bad for the younger apprentices I work with because to try and push more women into construction they've removed grants that were for everyone and increased the value of female only grants which is crazy.
I remember reading some of the chief concerns of the 2nd wave anti-feminists were that women would be forced into the rat race and away from motherhood if the feminists got what they wanted. Lo and behold that is exactly what has happened today.
The point of feminism is freedom of opportunity. A women should have the right and freedom to apply to be a firefighter doesn’t mean she should especially since a lot of women do not have the physical requirements to be a firefighter. I honestly don’t know why some many people miss this.
As soon as that dating coach opened her mouth I knew anyone paying her to teach them how to get girls is throwing their money into the toilet & flushing it lol
If you don’t have a career, you don’t have enough money for a kid. If you have a career, you don’t have enough time for a kid. In terms of gender roles, I don’t think who does what matters as long as we all contribute something positive. However we should play to our strengths, and in general terms I think men and women have different strengths, although there will obviously be outliers who don’t follow the trend/stereotype.
this is why human values are what we should prioritize rather than economic status. our society is anti human fundamentally, yet we use its metricks to evaluate each other. sick world
I think it's because 'F-ism' gives them license to do whatever they want and shirk consequences via victimhood and F-inity has a concept of reciprocation and responsibility for both sides. they get more of a free ride in the former and the latter requires 'paying' for bad choices.

Not gonna lie, 9 times out of 10, gonna put more weight on a married man’s advice telling another man what works than a women telling a man what works. The men approach the women and most women aren’t aware of the subtle movements and methods that men use, they just know they like it. To be fair, most people aren’t that introspective but a man needs to have a much deeper understanding of women because he’s the one doing the approaching. She’s just standing there.

This is a complete and utter lost generation. No previous generation had the issues Gen Z has or screams the outright nonsense it does. The problem is very clearly because of a combo of modern feminism, woke ideologies, social media and late stage capitalism. We need to bring shame back!
Shaming has its own problems. It works in the short term, but it only makes people hide their thoughts and feelings. After a certain point, something's got to give. If shaming worked in the first place, things wouldn't have changed.
Masculine and feminine. Both are great in their ways. It’s not the masculinity that is toxic. Toxicity is just humanity being without morals and empathy.
"Vulnerable" when talking about relationships, especially intimate is the wrong word. FAITH or TRUST is tantamount. Marriage's that survive are base on MUTUAL SELF SACRIFICE to each other.
I think the problem with marriages nowadays is people are ready to walk off at the slightest inconvenience because society has conditioned us to "not settle", I think this is an overreaction and the pendulum swinging the other way because a few decades ago lot of people weren't leaving abusive marriages so it's kind of society overcorrecting that. Today you've got people divorcing over the slightest inconveniences
Femininity is a complex and multifaceted topic that deserves a thorough exploration. As a viewer, I was unsure if you were trying to be a journalist, but I felt that the video was not executed well. The video seemed to jump from discussing femininity to talking about cheating, which left me confused. I couldn’t understand the connection between the two topics. Additionally, the introduction of OnlyFans seemed out of place and didn’t add much to the discussion. I felt that the video was trying to push a certain narrative instead of providing a comprehensive answer to the question at hand. It would have been better if the video had delved deeper into the subject of femininity and conducted more research. Overall, the video left me feeling like you as a creator was trying to convey your own insecurities rather than providing valuable insights into the topic of femininity.
We as a society need to focus on uplifting each other instead on uplifting one at the expense of the other. Also we need to treat these problems from an individuals POV instead of a collective POV. We have compassion and understanding for individuals while its to easy to hate and dismiss big groups.
true, but this problem runs to the core of what we actually are. look at the "women are wonderful bias," and hypergamy. what you will find is that people are not really even wired to think rationally. i have learned to lower my expectations. society is sick, people are mediocre, and it wont change or get better. i only focus on my self and being as strong as i can be
what's frustrating to me is that people act like now a days you need to make so much more than you actually do in order to have children. My husband makes about 25k and I stay at home with the kids and work once a week, with 2 kids and a mortgage. Yes, it's a bit stressful, but we have been able to save and it is worth the sacrifices we have had to make for our beautiful children. I live better than my parents did when they were kids, I think the biggest thing is your mini culture.
Can't blame em. The men's are also responsible for this behavior. Most of the colleagues I met lacks of personal hygene, motivation, dignity and self respect.
You state at the beginning of the video that you’re unsure if you can even talk about femininity due to being a man, and then went on to show exactly why EVERYBODY needs to be able to voice their thoughts and be part of the discussion for this topic. The same goes for masculinity, and the same goes for literally every other issue. As the guy at the end put beautifully, we all need to have conversations and listen to each other in order to figure things out

Your false egalitarianism doesn’t work if men don’t show up to work.

4 minutes in and the "spark" thing is so real! I used to think that the spark is what would start the relationship but nooo. I mean sure, with my current boyfriend there was definitely like a spark of attraction. He looked good, we had nice conversations and so on. But after dating a while I was like "no the spark is gone, I don't feel like I did that first time we met". And that's fine! We continued dating and now I smile everytime I see him, we laugh, we hug, we kiss! Mind you this spark is not the same as that intial spark but it's more trustworthy and sturdy and will last us a long time!

Great video Gen! I liked on how you covered this issue. Even though I'm a supportive of women's rights, women's right to choose, and against discrimination policies against women however I have some concerns about the feminist movement for different reasons. I myself have autism with a learning disability and I have been bullied by women including girls about having a disability, other times i would face harassment from women including girls in public places, sometimes in a work place, and other settings. Also what is hard is when women including girls use the me too movement or feminist movement to attack people with disabilities' rights or even use to bully me. There are times where I have deal with challenges when management or other institutions allow women including girls to not face repercussions for being a bully due to them saying that women don't need to be punished. To be fair, I struggle with social situations and sometimes my disability affects me on how to understand social cues I feel scared to even be friends or associated with girls including women when they would do these types of mean behavior on me. The best thing that I can do is if I have to have conversations with women or girls all I can do is casual conversations like how are you?, how was your week?, and other casual conversations to be on the safe side. If I have to meet a girl to hangout the best strategies is I learn is to meet in a public place or bring a recorder to record a conversation just in case to protect myself from wrongful bad rumors or accusations. I do feel scared about how the feminist movement is being used as a tool of hate. I strongly believe in women's rights, women should have the choice to make decisions about their bodies, and don't support discrimination policies. I wish that women including girls could use the feminist movement as a tool of good and have compassion including understanding when people have struggles or when people have disabilities or some mental health or if they struggle on social situations. I hope that this comment is easy to understand and that it is balanced.
i just gotta say, i love your exploration of culture from the street. you have such an unbiased approach that allows people to say what they think. please keep these interviews coming because people need to understand people, especially as the AI is on our doorstep another banger vid from GEN 👍
This may sound stupid, but what is modern feminism advocating for? Specifically, what legislation is the top priority for the advocates? I believe in equal rights, but isn't that already in effect legally? It seems both sexes would rather complain about what's unfair rather than accept this is the way of life.
Feminity and Masculinity are a spectrum. No one is 100% masculine nor 100% feminine. Society defined the terms and pushed each gender to a specific side based on generalized inherint qualities that they believed each sex was born with. I believe it's good that society has now found it acceptable that men can be more feminine and women can be more masculine but it's important to let people be who they want to be. We should not be forcing more feminine women to be maculine nor more masculine men to be feminine. Again, this is a spectrum and we need people all along it to have a true diverse society and telling a male or female that they need to behave a certain way is just wrong, regardless of the side you're pushing them to. Also, toxic masculinity is just a bad term that needs to be updated to something like forcefull bullying. The equivilent on the femine side would be a mean girl culture that is emotional bullying.
On a note, I'd love to see a national male strike. Maybe women would finallly understand just how much we as a sex provide to the world on a functional level.
The fact women have to strike to show their importance in society other than social roles should tell you that women are still not being heard just as much as men aren't but women rights and strikes brings attention to mens problems in society either by women or by other men.
@@Cosmic_Cookies_774not at all. It'd simultaneously send a message to the ultra wealthy, government bodies, and women who think they can survive without men.
What do you think about this topic on femininity? What can we do to get along better as a society? Let’s start a thread below 👇🏽
i think modern feminism has strayed from its OG core believes and goals.
Stop saying "guyses". You do such great work and this makes you sound like an ignoramus.
But I still appreciate and remember what feminists did in the past, and for that, I will always be grateful.
iya sih, i totally agree
So much this right here, thanks for sharing.
Been that way for some time now, and feminism is a bad deal for women too. Female empowerment doesn't have to be stripping your femininity, you don't need to be masculine in order to be strong, and men don't need femininity in order to not be toxic.

Most people woman have a little bit of "masculinity" in them, doesn't make them a man, it makes them unique

Its weird how you see women desire traditional structures in relationships, but reject all the values of tradition. You see it with the women in this video where they point to being "feminist with some traditional values" Where you tend to see a total rejection of natural female roles (i.e child bearing) whilst upholding it for men

There are ways to earn a living that don't involve corporate wage slavery. By corporate wage slavery I assume the OP means a retail or office 9-5.
- Becoming an artisan (selling craft beer, trinkets, knitted and crocheted goods, carved goods, jewelry, etc etc) and selling your wares at markets
- Becoming a farmer, animal breeder, horticulturalist, working with the land, working with plants and animals. Working as a conservationist or park ranger.
- Going into a skilled profession such as engineer, lawyer, doctor, veterinarian
- Going into academia as a scholar, a professor, a researcher
- Going into a creative field, art, theatre, music. These tend not to pay well but they can be far more rewarding if it is where your passion lies

- You could be a first responder, (police, fire, ambulance, civil defense). You have to be physically strong and capable and calm in a crisis.
- Picking up a trade and becoming a tradee (builder, plumber, electrician, heavy machinery operator, trucker). These blue-collar professions are surprisingly well-paying, especially if you set up your own company.

As a male who, despite being heterosexual, doesn't really tick off all the boxes of what masculinity is, I see this shit all the time from "feminists".
and also wanting men to pay for dates.. feminism and "equality goes out of the window and comes the "provider" and blablabla to justify the hypocrisy
But all that means is that I’m a pretty girl who will 1v1 you on your favorite game and give you a good match 😈
So cleaning a house automatically = feminine?

I feel like feminism has definitely lied to women.
Men and woman are very different but they complement one another
The point of feminism is freedom of opportunity. A women should have the right and freedom to apply to be a firefighter doesn’t mean she should especially since a lot of women do not have the physical requirements to be a firefighter. I honestly don’t know why some many people miss this.

Shame for what?
Previous generations definitely had problems! I don’t why everyone’s pretending the past was some paradise to live in when it was arguably far worse.
Every generation has issues. It aint nothing new.
Expressing yourself without judgement is ridiculous. I'm allowed to disagree.
Masculine and feminine. Both are great in their ways. It’s not the masculinity that is toxic. Toxicity is just humanity being without morals and empathy.
Amen❤
Great video. Very informative
I watch a lot of your videos and can't believe you only have 290k subs
Amazing journalism as usual
We as a society need to focus on uplifting each other instead on uplifting one at the expense of the other. Also we need to treat these problems from an individuals POV instead of a collective POV. We have compassion and understanding for individuals while its to easy to hate and dismiss big groups.
true, but this problem runs to the core of what we actually are. look at the "women are wonderful bias," and hypergamy. what you will find is that people are not really even wired to think rationally. i have learned to lower my expectations. society is sick, people are mediocre, and it wont change or get better. i only focus on my self and being as strong as i can be
you mean that to woman, cause men arent hating woman just pointing out the flaws in a movement.
what's frustrating to me is that people act like now a days you need to make so much more than you actually do in order to have children.
I think people should have the freedom to do whatever they want, but also be willing to accept the consequences of being who they are.
As the guy at the end put beautifully, we all need to have conversations and listen to each other in order to figure things out
The woke scolds don't even know what a woman is. How can they punish him for speaking on a womans issue
Good luck trying to get that point across to woke mob who constantly lie about being inclusive.
I loved the resolution that ended the video.
One gender isn't crucial than the other, both are needed by society and all rights should pay without the saying these men or women
tell that to all the women that think that men ain't people
Wouldn’t have everything around you and a modern civilization without the millions of men who died creating it. Let alone maintaining it. We’re about to find out what pushing men down will do to the world, women are absolutely not stepping up to replace men in the trades & blue collar work.
Men are more crucial than women if you want everything you see around you. If you want to go back to living in dirt huts banging rocks then sure “one gender isn’t more crucial than the other”. Your false egalitarianism doesn’t work if men don’t show up to work.
10:26 didn’t they all go on strike and nothing changed, other then the fact that HR departments got to breathe and rest for a day one of the literal quotes out of it was “it was nice to get some sh*t done”
Exactly! Married 13 years and you are so right. You can't chase that initial attraction, you miss out on a much deeper connection and relationship.
I don't quite understand it, if there is no spark that means there is no attraction. I have dated people I was not attracted to several times and it was the worst thing I have ever did, now I finally have someone which started with a spark and I still love him more than anything
@@somethingstuffles9084 I think we define the spark differently. I don't define it as attraction because there's plenty of people that I find attractive and get along with that I don't have a spark with and would be able to date
@@rebeccamadsen4509 how do you define it? For me the spark or even attraction in general is super rare ^^; And if I don't have it I am just not interested or forcing myself which just ends up in me breaking up after a while
@@somethingstuffles9084 I think I define attraction like someone you are attractedbto physically and maybe some part pf that initial attraction will also include compatability to some degree (being funny, kind, charismatic etc). I think I've recently started to define the spark as "finding the one". There was a few weeks/months where my relationship felt a bit lackluster or like I wasn't sure. But I felt like the spark grew and grew and now I definitely feel like I've found the one!
Some men might want to be more feminine at home, also women stick with it even if you aren’t attracted to him.
Don’t ask a fish how to fish, yeah probably should have stuck with that. Her male clients will only have success with her female clients. 💀
People focus too much on sex and money. And both these things lead them down a rabbit hole which is difficult to escape from.

I hope that this comment is easy to understand and that it is balanced.
freedom without accountability. be stoic stay away from snake.
i just gotta say, i love your exploration of culture from the street. you have such an unbiased approach that allows people to say what they think. please keep these interviews coming because people need to understand people, especially as the AI is on our doorstep

Modern Feminism has made everyone confused.
You are doing great work mate keep it up
This may sound stupid, but what is modern feminism advocating for?
