Talk about perfection. If there's such a thing this is its musical part.
I find great solace in this sublime music, which instantly transports me to a windswept rocky Atlantic isle that lives vividly in memory, where the spirit is uplifted by the simple joys of walking along the shoreline and enjoying the craic in fine company. If only I could be there again -- far from this grim city, locked down in fear of pestilence.
Having had similar experiences I feel with you over here in Berlin.

When listening to music like this, I feel like I'm already there on that island in the west, finding some of the solace and piece of mind that Máirtín Ó Díreáin is longing for in his famous poem. What a beautiful song. In this "augmented version" of the song, with Irish and Scottish Gaelic lyrics, it is interesting to hear how close the languages are.
