A miracle, indeed. The heart survived the Romans, St. Peter, Cromwell, the priests on horseback raiding the cottage seisiuns, the pubs bought by foreigners, and so forth.

I am form Poland, but those songs are absolutely beautiful. I started listening to Celtic Music from Celtic/Folk Metal. Now I am looking for more of traditional celtic music, and Julie Fowlis is more than I wanted. Her voice is amazing, and tune wakes something in my soul. Wonderful songs.

Tha mi cuideachd a ’sgrìobhadh às a’ Phòlainn. Bòidhchead: chan eil ann ach aon fhacal. Agus an seo bheireadh e 1000 facal! Chan eil fios agam a bheil ceòl Albannach / Gàidhlig air duine a dhèanamh cho breagha ’s a thug e dhomh. Chan eil mi ag èisteachd ris a ’cheòl aca air fad. Tha J. Fowlis agus a charaidean rium mar seann bhàird ann an seann chùirtean Morairean nan Eilean. Tapadh leat!!! 🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱

One of best music I ever heard... Julie seems like a queen of Kingdom of Beauty and Power of Music. The Queen that understand how importent is what they're doing, and how dangerous is to miss the perfect harmony, if they want to save the soul of the world... And smile on the end is smile of God... Listen this music is shelter and gift... Spirit of Celtic Music is immortal...

I've been lucky enough to see Julie Fowlis live in concert three times.
Like others who've commented , i dont know any Gaelic words, but it doesn't matter. I cant understand why, maybe it's because of my Scottish ancestry.
They're all lovely tunes, sung by Julie, she is a modern wonder of music.

This is sooo beautiful! The combination of voice, musicians and incredible gaelic music makes my heart filled with joy and pride.. knowing I am 75% Irish and 25% Scottish. I wish my grandparents were alive to hear this! Thank you for sharing

Part of what’s so brilliant about Julie’s innate talent and gift for music-that many may not realize-is that she finds poems or manuscripts written in Scottish Gaidhlig and composes tunes and melodies around them. And vice versa-she’ll take existing "mouth music" tunes, which may or may not feature actual words, and compose new lyrics and songs with them.

The wonderful music and languages of indigenous artists from both Scotland and Ireland ,does it get any better ...? you'd need to ask the God of your understanding .
