Martin Leon hmm with the 890 duke engine? That might be really interesting. It has the same torque as my 950 sm but more horsepower. Wonder how the character differs. Have you test ridden 790/890?

Well... why guys compares hyper 821 and not the 821SP against the smr and hyp 1100EVO SP?
Could the 821 sp close the gap to the smr? More agile and really better suspensions..
I read the article in MCN and they could not get hold of the 821SP and could only get the 1100SP

I have a HM820 and it romps.. the modes are great for toning down the throttle in urban situations and making more of a commute friendly bike, but sport mode lets me tap dat ass...
You should compare the new hypermotard with husky nuda 900 and perhaps triumph street triple? I know street triple is naked bike, but the power and power/weight are close, in all of them you can have ohlins suspension and at least an ABS.

Any of these still going?
On any bike with ample power, I absolutely hate an aggressive throttle for average sporty use on back roads and touring... which means I'd steer away from this new Ducati that seems to be trying to make itself seem stronger by just applying more fuel earlier ... like I could do with any bike just by pinning the throttle from every stop and upon every input. Since that would be stupid of a rider, it would also be stupid in a daily-use bike.
The Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200 is missing in this test...
