All I can say , it's nightwish. Wakken is a perfect show. But , when live, nightwish is a band that truly puts the studio versions to shame. Not many bands could pull that off.
@The Metal Muse if you want a growling floor , urs is an empty hope. 2 version will be suggested I'm sure. 1 is a bit better 2 hear Floor. But if u like some in the meantime, ever dream is a good start. No growling, but like all other nightwish songs.. just great.
Love Nightwish. They produce songs written by a true poets, played by fantastic musicians and sung by a Valkyrie. They always seem to have so much fun too and love it when their bandmates perform well and love to give them the spotlight when they do.
Thankfully the Nightwish rabbit hole runs deep. This I discovered 15 months ago having not heard of Nightwish or Floor until then. Floor Jansen, when she sings she expresses her emotions and at the same time moves our emotions, for that reason she is the Goddess and the best. Also, Floor and Marko are some of the best singers in metal. Unfortunately, Nightwish doesn’t do this song anymore since Marko left because no one else can equal his voice.

They are about to do their final shows before their undetermined hiatus. God I wish I could fly overseas and see one of those shows, but we can only pray that after the hiatus that Marco comes back, we can all keep our fingers crossed that it isn’t for years and that it doesn’t last too long but from what I understand they will be releasing a new album just not touring on it.

This is absolutely one of my favourites from this concert! It’s never in the set list after this tour and I never understood why. Hopefully you’ll explore some older Nightwish sometime. I’m pretty biased I think all of their concerts are terrific. Except for Buenos Aires. The energy is a little lower. Floor performs songs she never will again because the album is a remastered collection of songs from all of the eras. And she’s sick. Of course that doesn’t stop her from being great, but it’s a different vibe.
