There are elements of each one of their singers that I really like. I love Annette’s voice, love Tarja’s voice too. Ultimately, a band needs someone with a voice that can do it night after night. Touring really takes a hard toll on anyone’s voice. I think Floor’s voice is the perfect vocalist for Nightwish but I’ll always love listening to Annette and Tarja as well. Too bad they can’t tour with all three of them.
For me, Anette is wonderful in the record that lends to Nightwish, and beyond that is beautiful. I do not understand this war ... Tarja and Floor are wonderful too, and they all have extremely different vocals. It is very ugly that certain people say what they say about Anette, the Nightwish spirit is not that one. Grow up, guys.
This is hands down one of the best videos I have discovered about Nightwish, not only is it a look at the behind the scenes of a band practicing but the AUDIO IS PICTURE PERFECT of Anette singing an older Nightwish song ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT
Yea, it is the best recorded version of Romanticide I’ve ever heard, especially vocally, because the instrumental will always (or almost always) sound better on the studio recording, but even the audio quality here is way better here than in most of the live on stage versions, and it is pretty close to the studio recording quality - Anette has a really pretty voice, which is very hard to find as very few singers have a naturally pretty voice with a pretty timbre that is higher and lighter, so the other Nightwish albums would have sounded so awesome vocally if they would have had Anette sing on the studio albums, instead of the other two singers, which have very rough and dark and harsh voices and lower vocal height, so they aren’t suitable for Nightwish songs which are meant for super high and light voices!
This video is great because it's nice to see their rehearsals and how they experiment old songs too.I wait to see how they gonna clarify these "new" old songs in live.All the best to the band and I hope the crowd will enjoy the gigs!

I had forgotten how much I love Anette. Luckily I saw her also live with Nightwish (and also Tarja before). It's not only about the singer, the whole band is so different when people change. It's quite interesting to see the transformations, when you know the band and its history so well. Luckily the new guys are also great.

Bullshit !!! he always made these faces, and in the show in 2012, he made a face at a time when Anette sang an easy part of the song, she didn't make a mistake, it was in the right tone of the song, he made a face because he wanted to, and neither did that fact has an influence on her leaving the band. Her departure was because she was canceling shows, she was pregnant twice during the period she was in the band, in addition to other personality reasons, and not because Tuomas thought she sang poorly, quite the contrary, he liked the voice hers, so much so that she put her in the band.

I actually liked slaying the dreamer more with anette. Thats supposed to be an edgy song and tarja can only be a devout but fluid opera singer. Anette can gritty by will and that screaming at the end only contributed to the edge chaos and pandemonium. It was pure chaos and out of controll and I loved it 8D
