No people hated them for legitimate reasons. I hated them because I thought their pop albums were dookie (no pun intended), and they were fucking everywhere. Having to listen to songs you hated because that's all the radio played? That'll make a person hate anyone. Then I found their early stuff and while I still hate American Idiot, I still appreciate their works.
And if people can’t see that Billy Joe is one of the Coolest, down2Earth, grounded individuals , who is once-in -a- generational kinda of dude then they are probably really dumb people, who don’t know my people. Lol
