The tomahawk is great for getting swarmed, idk if there could be a better melee weapon, but paired with the slasher its borderline OP, with half damage taken while striking, masking effect after 10 melee kills and the bonus damage from the class and extra targets you can see how this gets out of hand very fast lol
When dealing with swarms you'll probably not always get a headshot and aiming for the body makes it easier to penetrate and kill multiple zombies. Without enough damage, you'll probably penetrate multiples but not kill them. But with the higher weapon base damage and damage perks (like the 50% vanguard damage boost), you can kill multiple zombies with 1 bullet (or pellets with shotguns and it's amazing) and can easily clean up huge hordes.
I have the same doubt, I am a console player and some weapons (such as the PDW) are without a silencer, and I cannot equip it :/, I imagine it is because I am a console player since on PC there are even a little more of variety when it comes to weapon skins.

Best weapon I found in this game is the pac 15 penetration power and good capacity
what is the benefit of increased damage as appossed to reload speed? it already headshots in one bullet
