This video was way longer than expected and I didn't have a script prepared so if anything is not clear or if I missed out anything, please feel free to ask/add in the comments. I do tend to use some weapons more than others, so my preference for the less-used weapons might very well change in the future. So, take it with a pinch of salt and adjust the perks according to your playstyle. I added the time stamps below to help you navigate through the weapon list more easily. Another point to add is that I also play mutators like Class Weakness on Extreme from time to time, so any additional damage perks become more beneficial. For example, a 9-powered AK can 1-tap zekes in the head with Class Weakness mutator, whereas any other configuration it cannot do that. I very much appreciate you making this video and adding timestamps, and I plan to use it a lot to consider my weapon perks, but it could've been shortened to 20-30 minutes if you had a script (like you already pointed out), minimized the 'ums' and 'uhs', and also skipped reading the descriptions of all the perks when we can read them ourselves right here or in-game (we can pause if needed). It's still good that you talked about each perk because that's likely why we're all here - to get the quick list of recommended perks and your reasons for choosing them that we may not have considered. Scripts are also useful for discovering both minor inaccuracies (you switched perks at 19:43, so now I'm unsure if each weapon's perks are the ones you really recommend until I watch the whole section for that weapon) and things you might want to repeat because they're very important, like a weapon perk X that does something useful for class Y and also works with weapon perk Z. Cheers 👍
Thank you for your feedback, that is greatly appreciated!😄I'll try my best to prepare a script for future videos so that they are more streamlined and easier to follow. As for 19:43, you're right, I should have set it up first before switching on video. As for why I had it on "Custom Rounds", I was trying to test if the increase in accuracy is worth it but forgot to switch it back.
@@xD3viLz All good, and it's minor. It's just a loss in efficiency (also known as laziness on your viewer's part, me included). Some more food for thought when doing long guide videos: Viewers can swap between two types - the "I'm currently upgrading my weapon and need the info now" type, and the "I want to chill here and listen for a while" type. Having the timestamp link jump to the full perk summary of each weapon and *then* you discussing them individually would appeal perfectly to both types. Hope you keep doing these videos. You know your stuff, that's for sure.
Question about the Tier 2 SMG: Now that Medic has that new Prestige 6 Perk that kickbacks some temp health to you upon using a Stim on an ally, would you be more inclined to use Plague Doctor, or would you still prefer Incendiary Ammo for the ability to light specials on fire? Also one thing I noticed when you were talking about the XTAR-95: you mentioned using Selective Fire for Fixers. I believe that perk actually turns the gun into Full Auto, kind of like the HAMR-17 Full Auto Perk. Kind of wish the XTAR had more perks since I feel all of them are kind of weird/conditional. But anyways love the guide. I think after hearing your reasoning on some of these guns I'm going to change my own perk setup.
Tier 2 SMG - Forgot to mention, but I have tested that before and it doesn't seem to work with the P6 perk (tried it on bots looking at the friendly fire damage). Also, while the P6 perk stim is active, stimming yourself also doesn't give you the additional damage. Tier 3 Bullpup - The auto mode also works with the extra penetration perk from the Fixer class, though because of hip fire the accuracy is pretty bad. So probably only decent on ammo Fixer with the explosive ammo for body shot kills. Thank you and glad it helps! 😄
So thats why my firing gets better when i shoulder swap alternate? Damn thanks man 😂 I just thought the zombies heads were exploding because of how badass i looked shoulder swapping while shooting lol
Moscow 1 is pretty useful for farming guns - ruclips.net/video/sy7fZK7TXUs/видео.htmlsi=RnO6VtQyjE06wNeb Otherwise, certain classes have perks or you can use mutators to start with certain guns.
The stronger weapons are Tier 2 AK, Combat Shotgun, Sniper, Classic Battle Rifle. Tier 3 - Assault shotgun, multi-barrel shotgun, bullpup, ACW. So, you can focus on levelling those to at least level 5 to get the max stats upgrade, then try to get the unique perks unlocked.
@TML962 yeah blue coins will take some time, mainly from weeklies if you're starting out, and then Extreme with virus samples once you're familiar with the game. Also, another recommended perk to get is "ghost" on the pistol.
I usually go for light sickle on all classes, except Slasher (medium baton / tomahawk) and Vanguard (heavy hammer / sword). Light melee is great for doing quick pushbacks to allow you to reposition yourself. On Extreme you don't usually use melee to kill, just for pushback.
@@justahuglyahhboi9676 Yeah it can be tough with bots, especially with certain mutators as well. Can try the official discord server instead to find others to play with.
Yes, advanced or special SMG, works well with "Lobotomy" perk if you can do consistent headshots. Though they are not the strongest Tier 3 either, I usually use them because I'm playing a support role, so I will leave the other better weapons for the DPS classes.
