this weapon changed how the game feels for me, its so fun flying around and throwing the glaive

mine looks nearly the same but i changed smite into life steal, and power throw into riven that gives inital combo 13 with anti grineer and corpus 1.3, it's comfy and easy to use
How much does that riven cost and what’s the name?
I have a similar build, except I have a riven wirh +180 dmg, +15 initial combo, and +200% crit.
The Caustacyst would like to have a word with you. That thing absolutely shreds everything now thanks to all the new tools we have.
Quite a few other melees have popped up thanks to Melee Influence that are easy rivals for the Glaive Prime. That thing is kinda overrated right now imo and even has competition from the Xoris and Falcor in the glaive department.
Glaive Prime is the only one that doesn't rely on green archon shards though, so it's got that going for it I guess...
Interesting! I got this weapon ages ago don't remember how or when probably with a prime pack I bought years ago and I actually thought it was terrible! I would have never thought it's so powerful! thx for the builds

Dont sleep on the Cerata, is not as good, but you can kill easy in a half hour steel path survivor, is cheap, try it.

Glaive prime explosion has 26% crit rate and 2.4x Crit dmg multiplier. So the ideal mod will be a rank 6 or 7 sacificial steel alone , if you are running with melee duplicate.
I dont get it, he absolutely shreds enemies while I'm struggling to even get a chunk out of 150s what am I doing wrong?
I use the glaive prime way to much its simple, boring, but works so well every update im hoping and praying they bring a new force bleed proc glaive that has a gimic tho to make it more fun
Can anyone please tell me how to find good mods? I just completed the new war and I face trouble doing damage. I can survive but damage is the issue. My current arsenal is Revenant Prime with Natatuk, Xoris and Atomos.
Get Dante and mod for power strength
Demois, blood rush, weeping wounds and condition overload are massive melee spikes in power. Should out to gladiator might on cetus.
As for guns, it's going to be galvanised mods and arcanes once you get stell path unlocked and bully acolytes. I'm in the same boat, a lot of guns sucked for me considering how string melee is. I have taken likings to the tenet arca plasmor, envoy, cycron, kuva nukor and bramma. If you can grab those they'll tie you over until incarons ( I too loved the nararuk too) I like the boar incarnon. You'll wanna build for viral/slash, maybe a splash of heat. Bane mods help out guns a lot, but ya know melee don't need that crud.
Oh and mirage made me like guns way more. Yes I want multishot with my multishot

Well, it’s not very difficult to farm 400 plat to buy it. I just can’t justify it because there are so many other options that are so close and damage it doesn’t matter I can do almost the same thing with cerata or xoris

It's not the same. Once you use glaive you'll never take it off can't even explain it
you can get finishers for basically free on any frame with the aero mod set on your sentinel weapon. been using it in my level cap voruna runs and it works great :)
use whirwind instead of the tenokai mod on first build
also u can use gladiator might instead of the bane mod
plus if u using a high shield frame use melee retaliation
on the 12x build you can simply use blood rush instead of reflex coil and hell fury sucks on glaives dude use gladiator might

im doing ALOT more than ur 12x dmg on 4x

Now with tennokai and melee influence this is just the most Overrated weapon in the game.
I barely even used it bc its just xoris with lower ranger and more damage
Xoris is also great at crowd control, enemies are all too busy being electrocuted to fight back.
Falcor with influence modded for corrosive and volatile rebound is an absolute menace on fully charged throws.. it also has a slight homing feature.
This weapon really needs the bane mods, i tried without and just couldnt get the oomph.
You could use the Warframe mod Vigorous Swap for its bonus- 165% Multiplicative damage on Glaive Detonations.
Fun to combine with Cedo Alt Fire. Swap to trigger the buff, Alt Fire the Cedo, swap back to Glaive to refresh the buff, Throw and Detonate the Glaive, rinse repeat. Bane Mods on top of that are just extra.

my glaive deal 900k dot dmgs per sec with only 2x combo multiplier
melee duplicate is trash btw , why? , melee duolicate cant double the slash damages proc 100% its only 30% for every duplicate slash dmgs
